Responsive office staff, I called over a weekend and the office staff called me on Monday. A low voltage electrician came out, very knowledgeable, emailed an estimate of the job at no cost. Plumber came out later for a different job but could not do what was requested, he suggested other approaches that were extremely involved, did not have equipment for, or were not realistically affordable. His visit was for around 15 minutes , he charged the full payment (his time for an hour and a truck time). This is my first encounter where someone comes out, assesses a situation, finds no way to do anything, leaves in 15 minutes and charges 154 dollars. Of note, I called the plumber 2 days prior to the appointment to discuss the job, I expected that he would ask whatever questions may help him decide if he can perform it and what he might need, but he did not. While the plumber could have planned better and asked helpful questions earlier to save me his costly visit, the office staff was less than helpful when I tried to explain that this should be regarded an estimate visit, given that it really was that. I am not sure why quality deteriorated since earlier reviews. I would not recommend using them unless you ask for clarification of what exactly they will do and what to expect with any interaction with them.

Having worked on many projects with Lovett over the last few years and being well accustomed to their broad range of services and professional integrity, I knew exactly who to call when I discovered a large break in our 8" ductile iron main waterfall supply line here at Lan Su Chinese Garden. The broken section of pipe was at least six feet deep, below foundation and encased in a commercial grade concrete thrust block. Josh and Matt in the excavation department worked with me to camera the line, dig, shore, jackhammer, repair and refill, all within the constraints imposed by a facility open to the public and with very limited access. Lovett consistently exceeds expectations and provides quality service where others fall short. I will not hesitate to use them again.

Unfortunately, we had an unpleasant experience. My elderly neighbors needed emergency after hours assistance. Having worked with Lovett, i felt they would be best to reach out to. I talked to office staff who told me that after hours tech would call my neighbors. With their water turned off for night, no one called them back. I called again the next morning on their behalf and was told that no one was available until the following week or after hours. Not willing to risk no communication from the after hours tech, I contacted another vendor who was able to show up within hours and fix the issue. May i suggest that if a phone call is promised, that it actually happen. Thank you and hope this helps you prevent something like this in the future.

I was referred to Lovett from Grumpys Drains (also excellent) and called them out to diagnose a property I manage where the tenant thought black mold existed after he looked under sink when faucet flow stopped. So the technician very carefully figured out a) no mold b) no water leak and c) particles were just clogging faucet. He spoke to the tenant regarding any other issues in the house, and then he called me to discuss. Very professional and very easy to understand possible solutions. I will definitely call them again for other properties I manage or my own. Highly recommended. Fair pricing.

The actual experience with installation was great, but communication prior to the install was spotty at best. Texting was the only thing that worked when asking questions, as voice mail and email were not responded to. Also price was padded to cover what would be needed in a city environment, and as we were in the country, many of the permits, inspections, and locations were not needed, but we were charged for them anyway. The job was bid to take 7 hours and only took two, so I know we WAY overpaid . But the installation guys were great, and we are very pleased with the outcome.

Lovett did work replacing a completely clogged sewer main in a house I purchased several years ago. Some time after they finished, the fill work over the dig point caved in, but life was crazy and I didnt do anything about it. Finally I got around to addressing it (18 months later) and even though their policy stated 12 months on labor, they happily sent someone out to take care of it, and it looks great! Very impressed by their commitment to doing a job well and standing behind their work.

Lovett Inc. Dale runs his Company with the Lovett Culture. A thought from the Dali Lama. He said that companies are living, complex organisms---not profit-making machines. Therefore, profit shouldnt be the object of a company, but rather a result of good work. Dale takes good care of his employees and his employees take good care of you. Excellent workmanship on the job shows through because of the Culture this Company lives by. Highly recommend.

This was a great job from beginning to end. Having to replace a water line is not at all fun, but Lovett did it in a smart and professional way. John did an awesome job on the planning, the organizing and the communicating. Linda was a pleasure to deal with while I was giving her all of my money. Brandon did a fabulous job on my sidewalk.
