Amazing service and company. Steven, the owner, works hard to make sure you are a happy customer and your electric work is excellent. I own 4 houses in Seattle, and every time I have an electrical problem, I call Electric Company of Seattle. Steven works with me to provide fast service. He has also trained an excellent staff of electricians, and Steven supervises most of the jobs. He also recommends solutions that are reasonable, price effective, and safe. In all of my houses, he has replaced many parts of my circuit breaker, re-activated old sockets, replaced difficult to reach lights, and re-done a lot of wiring. He has done this at all hours of the day and every day of the week. He will give you HONEST advice about the electrical system in your house over the phone for FREE. He always picks up his phone, and he does his best to make it out the same day. I wish all electricians were like the electricians at this company. Experienced, fast, reliable, and friendly. 10 star rating! He always gives me an honest bid before starting work, and his bid is accurate. NEVER has the bid been lower than my final cost. He knows the city electrical code, he makes sure you are safe. One of the first and best stories I have about the company is when my power went out because of a tree branch falling on my house. Originally, I called another electrician, but that electrician wanted to charge me $250/hour for weekend service and the other electrician recommended a 4-5 day solution. I called Steven at the Electric Company of Seattle, and he was willing to come out and fix the problem in 1 day at $90/hour. He had the right parts, and even improved my electric meter setup at NO extra charge. The only bad thing I can say is that the company is busy! So it may take a little time to get your bill, but who cares? The prices are reasonable and always cheaper than other companies in Seattle (SME electric, Mirsky Electric, etc). Steven is also a good business man and he finds a solution for your problem.

Electric Company of Seattle was a wonderful choice to do the work on our aluminum wiring. We needed to have a new panel with new breakers installed. And we wanted every outlet, every switch, and every light fixture in our house inspected and repaired with the most up to date method of aluminum wiring repair. We chose The Electric Company of Seattle to do this work, and we were overwhelmed by their excellent response and quality of workmanship. Stephen got back to us with an estimate for the repairs within 24 hours of our request. Once we accepted their estimate, they were able to schedule the repairs for the next week. The electricians arrived on time as expected, and they were ready to get right to work, with their tools and repair parts in hand. The lead electrician explained everything that would be going on that day, and answered all the questions I had. As they moved from room to room they cleaned up after themselves, including using a shop vac to clean up even the dust that happened. The electricians of Electric Company of Seattle are very professional and experienced. They treated me with respect and also treated my house & property with respect. But most importantly, they treated each other with respect. You can see that they work very well as a team, so they can do the very best work that is possible. When the Washington State Electrical Inspector came she carefully inspected every aspect of their work. After she had completed her inspection and report she said " this is an excellent example of just how this work is supposed to be done". I think that that is the greatest compliment that can be given to any electrician! My husband and I are certainly glad that we asked Electric Company of Seattle to work for us!! This is my first time to use an electrician. And my experience is horrible. The electrician Brian drove his truck into my bush in my front yard, and left a huge crack on my wall after finishing the job. And after I talking to the owner Steve, he did not admit that it is possible. He said that Brian drove a big truck that running into bush is normal... and he said that there is no possibilities that they will leave a one foot long crack on the wall... Maybe this company deliver some good services some time. But my experience is horrible. At the end, I called the owner Steve and said that I will just fix the wall and let go of the crack, and I friendly reminded him of Brian driving into my bush in my front yard and MAY leave the crack on the wall. But he did not admit that there is any possibilities that it would happen... he kept focusing on that they had the business for 35 years, and treated customer right. Well, the bottom line is that even if they fix the problem but they created damages and would not admit. I dont think thats good customer services.

Everyone who works at The Electric Company of Seattle seemed to really care about what my electrical problem meant to me as a person. When I called because my oven had stopped working just before a major holiday, they sprang into action. They knew how essential a working oven was to my familys ability to prepare for and enjoy a peaceful celebration. Their whole staff made me feel like my problem was the most important issue they had to solve. They were fast, friendly, and reassuring from the very first phone conversation. Professional, agreeable, fast, excellent - resolved old electrical wiring problem from the Broadview Duplex I live in that blew the plug right out of the wall and prompted the Broadview Fire Department to shut down the power in the duplex. Electric Company and Mike Buis can be trusted to be Johnny on the spot - felt just like family stopping over to help out! My dog Rosie liked Mike a lot - and you know about dogs intuition - dogs always know people! Service Excellent Value Excellent I recommend them without reservation - in an emergency - A+++

I was introduced to the Electric Company of Seattle when they came out one evening for a service call at my sisters house. Steve was very helpful and accomodating in resolving their issue. I hired them to replace my old florescent kitchen lighting with recessed lighting. I am pleased with the results, Brian was very professional and efficient. I am bringing them in again next week to replace my old base board heating with digitally programmable wall units.

After my regular electrician was stumped, he suggested I call the Electric Co of Seattle. They quickly diagnosed the problem and came up with a plan to fix it (part of my condo building had to have the power shut off). The great think about the Electric Co, the come on site with a big truck full of tools/parts - they had everything necessary to fix a very complex job in a little over an hour. These guys are the real experts, honest and professional.

These guys are awesome. I randomly found them via google and had them address some complicated electrical problems on my houseboat. Through this process I learned they had done the commercial work at my Hot Yoga Studio. Today I had a large issue with our residential landscape lighting and they fixed it quickly and for a reasonable price. I highly recommend them. Ive worked with both Steve and Micheal and they are super competent.
