Mark arrived on time. He proved to be knowledgeable and efficient. I showed him the two problems: (1) a suddenly dim new LED bulb in the downstairs hall, on the same circuit as the new LED bulbs at the top and the bottom of the stairs, which were bright; and (2) an intermittently noisy bathroom ceiling fan/light. Naturally, just like when you take your car to your mechanic and it wont make that odd noise, neither of these two problems occurred when Mark first looked at them. He examined the wiring for the formerly dim LED bulb and pronounced it OK, so we concluded that the bulb was at fault and replaced it with another new LED bulb, which was bright. Next, he found that the bathroom ceiling fan/light motor was covered with talcum powder, causing poor performance; Mark took it down, cleaned the motor, the trim, and the ceiling enclosure, and put it back all together - it is much quieter now. I appreciate Marks knowledge and execution and will ask for him should I need electrical assistance again.

From the start Kurt was puntual, professional, courteous, and efficient. The appointment was for 8:00 am and Kurt arrived on the dot. The appointment was for Kurt to install an outdoor outlet and weather proof cover at the front of my house. Kurt explained to me what he would be doing and patiently answered my questions. After he installed the outdoor outlet, he diagnosed some problems I was having with a bathroom outlet and my backyard outlet that had not worked for over 10 years. He discovered a loose wire to the bathroom outlet that also affected the outdoor outlet. After he fixed the wiring, both outlets worked. He also replaced the outlets because the bathroom outlet no longer worked and the outdoor outlet was a normal outlet, not GFCI. I would definately hire Square 1 Electric again and recommend him to my friends and co-workers.

I had a new dryer delivered and the when they went to install it, they informed me that the electrical outlet didnt match the plug for the new dryer. They said I had 30 days to get it fixed and then they would come back out and install it. As they were taking away my old dryer, I knew I didnt want to live 30 days without a dryer so I called Square 1 to see if they could come switch out the outlet. Kurt was at my house within an hour, took a look at the outlet, and determined he had to run to grab a part. He was back within 20 minutes, and it was all fixed within 2 hours of the dryer guys leaving my house! And I only paid for parts! Kurt even offered to install my dryer for me...although I figured I better let the original guys do it....even though they are now two days out! I wish the appliance company took some tips from Square 1 :)

Square 1 is a great choice for all your electrical needs, whether big or small! Weve used them for two fairly large remodel projects at our home, basically gutting and rewiring the entire upstairs and installing an updated circuit breaker panel, and then some smaller projects after that. I would definitely call them again for any electrical needs, and I highly recommend them for your next project!
