I had the worse experience 7.23.16, with Sarah one of the hair braiders. I showed her about fifteen pictures of what I wanted and two of what I didnt want. I had to take out the same cornrow three times because it started of small then got huge in the middle then small again. She took it out then we decided to straighten my hair to see if it would have better results . She started to burn my hair with a flat iron on the highest setting with no heat protector and straightening tiny sections. At this point Im pissed I tell her stop what shes doing and hand me 4 clips and some heat protecting spray. I straighten my hair myself so its easier to manage. I show her pictures of what I wanted again she braids my hair it looks a little bit better she turns the chair away from the mirror. The final product is not what I wanted . She says she can take it all out and I can go somewhere else. I tell her no because Ive already wasted three hours in this chair. She takes the cape off barely cleans up the braid dips it in hot water I have to beg for another towel my hair is dripping and I had to beg for some oil my scalp is dry. Never again ohh the dont take card , the ATM machine is broken down stairs at the beauty supply store I had to go to the gas station across the street.

its incredibly difficult and embarrassing for a woman to lose her hair and its almost equally as difficult to know how and where to get a wig. Ive been to every shop that I could find, including all 3 Mid K stores. This is the absolute best, hands down. The staff is friendly, patient and knowledgeable....Danielle specifically. I know that she will be honest with me and that she wont let me leave until Im happy. She makes the experience great and I will never go to any other store to buy hair related stuff. I love Mid K!!

I was a little offended by one if the stylist when she was giggling with a coworker about me... Im a man trying on wigs in the store and then the other one said is this for Halloween or a costume party? I said Excuse me? Who are you to be asking anyone a question like that? What if Im trans and Im there to get me a new piece? You need to show more respect for people when they come into your store to buy your products! Good way to lose business!

I buy all my products from this location. The staff is very friendly and informative. I had a hair issue and they directed me to a great stylist right above the store "ACut Above" and my problem was solved instantly. I recommend this store to everybody. Keep up the superior customer service stylist right
