I visited Lux Salon for the second time on April 15th. Due to traffic, I was running late and was going to miss my original appointment time. I called their salon and they were SO accommodating. They scheduled my hair and make-up appointment for a little later in the afternoon with zero hassle. It was such a relief! By the time I arrived at Lux, they immediately started working on me because I had a dinner to get to in an hour. Jessica did my hair and she did a wonderful job! At the SAME time, Ashley did my make-up - total VIP treatment. They were both working together to make sure I would make my dinner on time. It was incredible - one of the best customer service experiences I have had. Instead of being late for my dinner without hair and/or make-up, they made it work and sent me on my way within an hour of getting there. I cant sing enough praises for the wonderful team at Lux. I wont ever be going to another salon again... Thank you!!

The staff is always friendly. They know me by name and even after my first visit they made me feel as though I was a friend they were seeing again. The stylists are experts at their craft, with ranges in years of experience and price. From interns just out of cosmetology school, being shown the ropes under the wise guidance of Celeste, a stylist who has more than 15 years of experience, to younger stylists that have honed their style and finess; you cant go wrong. Alex, the gal I see, is always willing to go to the wild side with my hair. She has fun doing it. She listens to what I want and uses her expertise to make it happen, offering ideas of how to make it better when needed. Everyone at the salon listens to their clients, makes them feel confident, and does a phenomenal job. They make you feel at home. This is the best Salon in the area, hands down. 5 stars says it all.

Just moved to Tacoma from California and was desperately seeking a stylist I could trust. Following some reviews on Yelp I decided to book an appointment with Jennie and Im so happy that I did! She is incredibly talented, passionate about what she does, and explains everything in depth before she touches your hair to make sure that you both are on the same page. Shes also extremely honest and lets you know if something you want will not work out for you. I could tell she truly cared about my satisfaction and wanted to build a relationship with me, unlike other stylists Ive been to in the past that only want to make a buck. Im thoroughly pleased with my hair and the service I received at this salon. If youre looking for a stylist that is talented, honest, real, and passionate- book with Jennie, you wont regret it!!!

AMAZING!! I had a spa facial with Carrie and was completely pampered. Not only did she give me an amazing facial with lots of skin care tips, she also massaged my hands and feet, along with a wonderful facial massage. My skin has never been so smooth and acne free. She not only recommended great products but they were reasonably priced too. I got to see Betty for my waxing and she is just as great. Betty is gentle and kind, making you forget youre getting hair removed ha. She is quick and efficient and loves body waxing. Betty is my go to girl for Bikinis and Pedicures, Lux salon will make you feel right at home and youll be dying to come back in. I cant wait until my next appointment.

Lux salon is amazing! I usually dont write reviews for anything because I always forget, but I want to help others who are looking for a salon in Tacoma. Come here! Aspyn cut and colored (blonde) my hair a few days ago and I have been receiving compliments on my hair every day since then. She is very talented, knowledgeable and friendly. The salon itself is nice too. Its clean, pretty and has snacks :). I will be returning for hair appointments and hope to use their other services as well. I recommend this salon if youre looking for quality services and a friendly atmosphere.

I got hair cut and its awful. Ar first I couldnt understand whats wrong with it... Was ok.. But when I got home and then next day my hair looked awful..:( dont know what to do, tomorrow Christmas Eve..:( I called first because all those nice reviews and I liked how owners response... Because I usually dont get hair cut often because afraid to get disappointed.... And called in and they had first person available... I wish I went to some one who can do a better job.. I have had the pleasure of receiving services from Carrie, Betty, and Ashley at LUX Spa. The facials are very relaxing and the ethetician are very knowledgeable and give excellent advise on the proper care for you skin. Ashley is very talented make up artist who really should be a Hollywood Artist. Betty has the healing touch and attentive care to have you feeling your best. Carrie is the perfectionist who is very technical and know the perfect regiment for all skin types. Awesome at shaping eyebrows to match your facial features.

I just had my hair cut & colored with Julia and loved it, She is a Gem! on my way home I stopped by the store & had a gal stopped me to tell be that I had the best cut and the most beautiful color. The girls are all so talented and you cant go wrong with any of them. I also had a facial with Betty which was the best and I felt so wonderful after the service. Shes not only a sweetie but very knowledgeable. I cant wait to go back and try some other treatments.

Lux Salon is where I get my hair cut. Specifically, I see Marco. I rarely have to tell Marco what I want, I trust him to give me a good look and always leave feeling great about my hair. I would say Marco has become a good friend and I always look forward to chatting with him. I have also had a chair massage and a pedicure at Lux, both were great and would definitely recommend any of their services!

Betty does the best Brazilians that I have ever had and I never want to go to anyone else. She is a perfectionist with her technique and she is completely thorough and efficient. She is warm and kind and friendly and I never feel uncomfortable. I get all my waxing with her and only her. This is the best, cleanest, nicest place that you go. I will drive from anywhere to get my waxing done here.

I have been getting an eye lash perm from Carrie for a couple of years and I am always satisfied with the results. They normally last about 1-2 months depending on the weather. I also get a hair cut with Alex at the spa. She does a great job with my hair and even curls it in the end. With my hair being so straight and thick, I am always amazed with how well she does with it. :)

I have had numerous services in both the salon and spa. Jennie has given me the best haircuts. The spa has the most relaxing atmosphere (It even has a relaxation room). My favorite spa services so far would have to be the lash perm I had with Ashley & the lash tint Ive had with Betty. They both have such a gentle touch. They both achieved exactly what I was looking for.
