This company should be named 5 star moving - My wife and I have only hired movers a couple of times and the service was NEVER this good. Hanoi, Alain, and Eladio. Most movers getting paid by the hour seem to take their time in an effort to milk the clock. These guys moved faster than anyone could have imagined. These guys always took extra boxes and were practically running through our house like they were trying to break some sort of record. They wrapped anything that could be scratched, they pointed out previous scratches we already had from our last movers. They took NO breaks, they were polite, courteous, clean and very smart young men. We had a couple of big pieces of furniture and they figured out the best way to move it and make it fit. The had these great blankets to protects doors and banister as well as rugs to protect the floors. These guys treated our furniture like it was their own and they represented their company like they were the owners. I will never move my own furniture again so long as Three Star Moving is available. Thank you so much for such good work!

2/25/2015 Update: The manager contacted me and promised to send me $100 refund. I am revising me feedback. 2/21/2015I read reviews about them before I decided to use their service. All reviews were good. My experience was not fantastic though. I asked for 2 guys to move my stuff and they arrived almost on time then started to move my furniture. After about 20-30 minutes the third guy arrived and I received a call from manager who said that price will change because the third guy joined. I was surprised... She said that price will not be much higher but they will be done faster. It did not happen that way. Originally I expected to pay $170 for 2 guys. Over the phone manager said that I will pay $190 for 3 guys. I ended up paying $270. Plus I gave them tips $30. I wanted to have some change but they did not have any. Be careful about that. They offer extra guys during the job, basically you cannot say anything because guy was there and started to work. Also I did not have a lot of stuff, so 2 guys would have done the job for the same amount of time Movers did a good job.

I was told that the team would be professional and use the most efficient means possible, but found that I had to provide a lot of direction and items were often left behind if not mentioned. They may have eventually made it into a box, but I prefer to have everything kept together when possible. Mychael, Alian, and Josh seemed to mean well but I didnt feel they provided much expertise. I did address the issue with the company upon completion and was somewhat compensated with a discount. Compared to other moving services Ive used in the past I am not satisfied and will not use them again for packing services. If you just need furniture and pre-packed boxes moved, Im confident they can do the job and that would probably be worth the money. UPDATE: The company proactively reached out after they heard of my negative experience and compensated me for the hassle and disappointing experience I had. They assured me this kind of experience is not typical and the team that worked on my move will receive appropriate training so that doesnt happen again to someone else.

I had a great experience with Three Star Moving. I was thoroughly impressed with Eladio, Jahir, Yassar, and Jonathon. They were incredibly careful, yet incredibly fast. They were very conscientious in protecting my items, and managed to maneuver through my 3-floor townhouse with no bumps and no complaints. The movers worked at 100% effort (literally running at times) for the duration of the move. My only tip if youre considering hiring them: make a real effort to offer the guys water/soda while theyre working. Otherwise, they seriously wont take a hydration break until theyre done. I also found Amanda and Susie in the office to be completely competent and helpful. Amanda got me all set up with planning the move, and Susie followed through on move day. Very professional, very well-organized. Last but not least - these movers are very fairly priced for the service you receive!

I used Three Star Moving and I would highly recommend them. Pablo and Collin were the gentlemen who came and I found them to be very professional, careful, thorough and a delight to work with. They lined the stairs with their quilted mats and covered the floor area going in and out of the door. They were very quick and efficient and did not waste anytime. They worked well together and coordinated their efforts so they were in and out in record time. My belongings were going into a storage unit which was on the 3rd floor and they managed that with ease also. No complaining, no wanting to take a break, no standing around. Just excellent professional movers. When they were finished they called their boss and had me speak with him about my move. I told him I was very satisfied and I was.

I hasd planned for a move at the very last minute and came to know through my friends about Three star moving. I called the number and Amanda picked up the call and said they dont have availability. But I have requested her to help me in this. She did real good help on understanding my situation and arranged two guys (Hanoi & Alain). They were very professional and wonderful during the entire move. They helped me fix everything that I needed in the place where I wanted them to be there. I am extremely happy with Hanoi, Alain and Amandas help on moving my stuff here. Super cool guys they all were. I would definitely recommend you choose them. Thank you guys again for the great help. After finding this company online, I called them and was given a very reasonable quote. The lady I spoke with was very informative and gave me a few tips to make my move much easier. On my move day, Hanoi and Jaime showed up on time and explained how they would be working. I was a little worried about some of my heavier furniture like my hutch and a 60 inch flat screen TV but they wrapped everything with blankets for me and safely handled them with out a problem. I was extremely impressed by how organized they were with loading and unloading the truck. I was moved into my new apartment in a little over 2 hours. I will definitely be using them again if I need to move and would highly recommend them to any one looking for Portland movers. Great job guys!!

This is the second time I have used Three Star Moving, and the experience has been consistent and reliable. The price is fair and affordable, and the movers practically RUN once theyre on the clock. I had three individuals helping me move today: Eladio, Jaime, and Juan. They were all very hard-working, thorough, and super friendly. I even had some furniture in the new place I needed help moving around, and they jumped right in! Both experiences I have had with the company and movers during my last two moves have been great, and I will definitely use Three Star Moving again! Definitely recommend this company for the quality of service as well as the quality of people.
