***I would be very wary of using this company*** I could not be more displeased with Seattle Select Moving. They helped me do a move a few months ago and it did not go well at all. When the gentleman came out to give me an estimate he assured me they could get the move done in 3 hours. I was told that Washing state law states that if they can’t get it done in the time outlined in the agreement, the most they could charge me was an additional 25%. I told him that I did not think they would be able to get it done in such a short time, but he again reassured me that it would not be an issue. Come moving day, three hours was not enough. The guys worked an extra hour or so, then informed me they had to leave. That left me to finish the move by myself over the next 5 days. They of course charged me for the extra time, but left exactly when they would have been working for free. Almost all of my bigger furniture was damaged in the move. From scratches in my wood bedroom furniture to a large scuff on my leather sofa to a deep scratch in my glass table top. When they were rushing to get the stuff off their truck I went down to help. I was shocked to see that the majority of my furniture was not wrapped in blankets. Furniture was just piled on top of other furniture. When I contacted Mike the “boss” he informed me that because I opted out of the insurance, I was only able to claim pennies on the dollar for my damaged furniture. When the guy that did the estimate was going over the contract with me, he told me that I didn’t need their insurance that they never have any complaints about damaged furniture and when they do, they just pay out of pocket for the damage, because they don’t want their reputation to be ruined. ALWAYS PAY FOR THE INSURANCE – I was told later that movers don’t want claims on their insurance because their rates go up just like auto insurance. So they do what they can to get you not to get the insurance they are obligated to offer you. When I contacted Mike the owner about the damage I told him I wanted the glass table top replaced. He of course told me the same story the estimator told me. Pennies on the dollar yada yada, BUT that he would be happy to help me out. When I sent him the receipt for the glass table top that was less than a year old, Mike told me it was too much money for him to pay and then insisted that he could get it fixed. Mike came by and picked up the glass and told me he had a guy that could fix it. Two weeks later I called for an update and Mike informed me that it could not be fixed. He arranged to have the glass top retuned to my house. When it arrived it was even more scratched and had a big chip in a corner. I was furious. I called Mike and told him something needed to be done. He told me he would check into it and get back to me. That was 5 weeks ago. I have called, I have texted and I cannot get a response from him. These guys really should be avoided.

Seattle Select Moving was GREAT. I needed to have all our upstairs furniture moved downstairs in order to refinish our upstairs hardwoods, then come back and move it all back upstairs. I called Seattle Select Moving last-minute and they were extremely friendly and available to help. They were clearly familiar w/ helping with this exact situation. Their crew showed up on-time for both moves, and got the work done incredibly quickly without making so much as a smudge on any of our furniture. They were also proficient in taking apart and putting back together several of our furniture pieces, such as our king-sized bed. They guys were friendly, polite, and very mindful to keep our house clean, and our furniture and walls undamaged! I would absolutely recommend Seattle Select Moving to anyone with moving or transport needs.

I needed help moving from downtown to Fremont (1-bdrm apartment) and made the awesome decision of calling around town 6 days before my lease ended in summer. Searching around for places with good reviews, Seattle Select Movers were able to fit me in on a Friday afternoon. The crew braved the I5 South traffic from up north to get to my place and had my belongings loaded up in about an hour - wow! After arriving at the center of the universe they quickly and carefully unloaded and moved everything to their new home. Best part, nothing was damaged! Mike and Peter were consummate professionals throughout and made my moving experience free of stress. Ill be recommending Seattle Select Movers to anyone that needs help moving around town!

This is the second time Ive used Seattle Select Moving. They showed up on time, ready to go, and took time to walk through the house and ask questions before starting. Very professional, friendly and efficient - and obviously cared about our furniture and belongings and made sure to keep it all safe during the move. Picking a moving company can be nerve wracking, simply because of the attachment most people have towards their homes and belongings. Really helps when you have movers that put your mind at ease that you know you can trust. Will continue using in the future and highly recommend to others. Thanks!!

Called Seattle Select Movers again as we were moving into a new home. Showed up on time, again very professional explaining exactly what to expect and gave an estimated time based on the contents of the home. Fast and friendly and the two worked very hard and were extremely careful. Not one item damaged in the move. They even assisted in moving a very heavy item from the previous move that we thought would fit in a spare room. Bottom line, if the mover says it will not fit, listen to him. Dont plan to move for a long time but if I do it will be Seattle select. Thanks

I called this company to help with my move a couple of weeks ago, and Im so happy I did! They showed up close to when they said they would, and got straight to work without hesitation! There were 2 guys, and both worked nonstop until the job was done. There were no hidden charges, no surprises, and no nonsense whatsoever. They were respectful with my stuff, and professional in their communications. This was by far the easiest move Ive ever made, and I will absolutely call them when its time to move again in the future. Highly recommend!

Best movers Ive used yet. Im a realtor, and have had a lot of experience with various movers, but Seattle Select are my new go to movers based on their professionalism, attention to detail, and overall ease of user experience. I trusted them with my own move, and theyre by far the best Ive encountered. Cannot recommend them more. Mike and Pete are the owners and they not only take great care with who they hire, but care about their customers and the business theyre building. Im not one for long reviews, but this one is much deserved!
