WOW look this company has 5 stars on yelp. They must be a very professional moving company. What could go wrong? Lets start with the basics: *Hired a 3-man moving team to pack and move my mom from a 2 bedroom apartment to a condo just 8 miles away *Two movers showed up *The 2nd guy decided he wanted to take the day off and left, so weve got just one mover for the price of 3. What a steal! The last man standing packed and tried to move, but after nearly 10 HOURS, she finally told him to stop and get the truck moving. Total move time: 12 hours. Total moving fees: Over $200 including materials and a $165 travel fee for 8 miles Multiple items were damaged A brand new socket set is missing "But Andrew, a company with this stellar of a reputation would surely have made things right... right?" Nope. She was charged 12 hours of time plus all fees. The move isnt even complete and ABSOLUTELY NO ONE tried to make this right. My mom had to help move things along and make basic decisions any professional moving company should have made in that situation. Whats the worst part of all of this? We recently lost my dad, and this was already an extremely difficult situation for her... leaving the last place they lived together. Thanks to Gigantic Moving & Storage, this already difficult situation was nothing less than a GIGANTIC nightmare for her. THANKS GIGANTIC MOVING & STORAGE!

I recently scheduled a move with Gigantic Moving & Storage. They were very professional from day one. They called me a day prior to the move, went over a check list and answered all the questions I had. On the day of the move, they called an hour ahead of their arrival. That gave us any last minute details to wrap up. They arrived in a big red truck, you couldnt miss them! The men were very courteous and clean mannered and very professional. They loaded all our things onto the truck in under an hour. They worked fast and were careful with our items. It helped that we organized everything near the door, so all they had to do was grab and go. They also wrapped and secured our things nicely. Over at our new location, it was the same procedure. The men unloaded and put our things away in the same manner. They were organized and had very good communication among themselves, great team! For the three men who moved us...Thank You!...you were all great! I also thank Gigantic Moving & Storage for their awesome customer service. I highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a moving company...kudos to you all...thanks again.

Gigantic was great. They arrived on time, worked quickly, and moved my items with zero damage and helped set them up in the new place. The final bill was cheaper than my initial estimate, which was a pleasant surprise. I have no complaints, and I would definitely use them again next time I move! Update: I just used Gigantic again for another move, and while Im overall still quite happy with the service and the price, the movers this time were not quite as gentle as they were during my previous move. One of my lamps was broken, and there were a couple instances of items being banged into each other or into walls, though thankfully none of that resulted in major damage (other than a slight dent in drywall). Aside from that, the movers were very accepting of difficult loading dock issues (we were supposed to have it reserved but ended up having to move the truck several times).

Right off the bat on our phone conversation they displayed professionalism by asking the right questions (will you be moving your fridge or other appliances) and providing the right information (we start charging upon arrival and stop upon completion). I was promised a crew of two but 3 people showed up on time for the same price. They wrapped every large item in blankets to avoid scratching the walls and they worked hard in the rain. Top notch crew. Thank you Juan / Pedro / Moses / Michelle / Noelle for your professionalism.

They destroyed all my furniture and my walls. And charged over 700 dollars to top it off. No apology, nothing. They splintered the wood on my bed frame and my coffee table and when I called them they told me to file an insurance claim. This isnt minor scratches, chunks of wood are splintered off. AVOID THIS COMPANY. I could have done a better job moving myself. I cant believe they have good reviews when they are this negligent.

I was very pleased wth Gigantic Moving & Storage. From the very start it was an easy experience - from setting up the move to dropping my belongings off. Each person I interacted with was pleasant and very understanding of the stress a move can create. Smooth intra-Seattle move. Scheduling was easy, movers were friendly and careful, and the price was reasonable. The crew packed for me and did a great job. Less scheduling hassle and less rushed on moving day than compared with Hansen Bros. last year (this might be due to Gigantic just quoting an hourly rate, whereas Hansen tried to provide a total estimate).

I have moved 8 times in the past 10 years and Gigantic was - hands down - the best moving company I have ever used. They were on-time and incredibly professional. They took great care of my items and my home during the process. So much so that I had no anxiety about the well being of my belongings. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

They ought to be called Fantastic Movers!!! They were on time, fast, efficient, friendly, careful. They put my dining table and bed frames together for me. They had to go up 36 stairs over and over and never complained. It was like my family was moving me. Id recommend Jose and his crew to everyone!!!!!

We moved from Seattle to Tacoma through Gigantic. They provided us with two trucks and 4 people. They arrived timely and moved us very efficiently and quickly, and we had a lot of stuff. It took a lot time less than we expected. The young men were very professional and helpful. I highly recommend Gigantic!

These guys were really good. They were prompt & polite. They seemed to have a lot of practical experience such as how to navigate the moving truck in tight places, how to avoid hitting walls, and how to move difficult things through hard to fit areas. I definitely recommend them, so worth the money.

the movers were great. with a 2 year old it was hard getting everything together, but the guys came in and got to work, helping pack the rest of our things (including toys!) carefully and efficiently. id definitely recommend them to anyone.
