We hired Suddath to handle our law firm office move to relocate approximately 375 peoples workstations over Memorial Day Weekend 2016. It was a very complex and complicated move that went very well without any significant issues. We selected Suddath from 5 qualified move companies through our RFP process and they fulfilled all of our requirements. From start to finish the move process lasted approximately 3 months that included the pre-move of files, the critical move of workstations over Memorial Day Weekend, and the clear out of the old space, in order to meet our obligations to vacate our former office space. We received great advice, guidance, planning from David, Darren, Kirk, and Sean all the way done to the details of the special color coding on a per floors basis. Our firm moved into a new building and are now located on 9 floors. We had pre meetings and special elevator coordination scheduling with both our old buildings management and the new building landlord, so that no obstacle would interfere with the critical time lines. This allowed us to efficiently move everything over the shortest timeframe, to minimize disruption to peoples work schedules. I would recommend Suddath to others needing similar professional move services. Phil.

Suddath was professional and detail-oriented with packing and delivering our stuff to Portland. They used United Van Lines, and the drivers were courteous and polite. My one grievance is that they took 3 weeks to deliver our stuff from pick-up date (to their credit, they did give us a 2-week window in which they expected to deliver, and our stuff was delivered at the end of that time frame.) Additionally, I took off one star because Lucinda "Lou" Salvo was very uncommunicative in the beginning and short with her emails. There were a couple of times that she did not acknowledge emails/phone calls. I had to call her several times a day before the move, because I did not have any inkling of the packers arrival time (and had to ensure I was going to be home.) I can understand that she is busy with other moves, but when your company is paying close to $5k to move you across states, you expect some common courtesy. To Lous defense, her demeanor did improve after I casually complained to the office staff. In essence, I would use Suddath again, but might choose a different move coordinator the next time around.

Josh Santos made my move painless. A inventory of my items and their conditions was taken before the move, and movers ensured that each one was present on arrival. There was no damage. Josh was incredibly polite and very easy to reach by email and phone; he also gave me a couple updates on when my items were expected to arrive while they were in transit. Suddath even kept my items for a day at no charge because I still had to fly into Portland. My employer covered relocation expenses and allowed choosing among Graebel, Mayflower, United, and northAmerican. I checked a review site and noticed all these movers had terrible ratings, but United was the best of the lot, so I went with United expecting zilch. I was pleasantly surprised, but my experience may apply only to Suddath, the United agent in Portland, OR. If youre moving to Portland, Suddath is the way to go.

The folks at Suddath took the stress out of moving. Ryan Klee and Tim Andretti were efficient, professional, and went the extra mile to make sure everything was packed efficiently and effectively - there were no problems on the back end!. Kiki Memea, Tim Smith, and Shane Roger did an excellent job with the driving and delivery; and Crystal McAllister and Meilo Tauala were wonderful as they unpacked my stuff. Lou Salvo has managed 3 moves for me, and she will be the first I call when I move again. Everyone involved in my move clearly believed in customer care and walked the talk. I would recommend using Suddath without reservation.

Our entire move was very well orchestrated by Lou and her careful attention to detail really came through for us. Ron, Roxanne and their packing and moving crew were friendly and professional and really went well above and beyond in dealing with the inevitable surprises and issues that come up in a household move. They were fast, efficient and thorough in their packing and crating so that every item arrived at the new home in the same condition it left the old place. Suddath helped us relocate an office of 17 people. just the initial thought of moving was enough to make me question the relocation! After my first meeting with Ryan Throop, all my concerns went away. Ryan and his team took care of everything. from providing lockable boxes for all our files, to completely disassembling and reassembling all of our furniture. on moving day, all I had to do was point where I wanted things in the new office. what a great team, and an amazing experience! I would recommend these guys to anyone looking for an effortless move.

We had wonderful customer service with Suddath Relocation. Our goods arrived in excellent condition (even the items that had glass were fine) and the drivers unloaded the truck and put them exactly where we asked - on more than one occasion they asked if there was anything else they could do for us. Whenever you move, and have to rely on someone else to take good care of you things, stresses can arise - but none of that happened here! Suddath made my cross coast move a breeze! The packing crew handled my items with the utmost care. They wanted to ensure after 50+ hours in transit that all my belongings would be secure. I received consistent communication throughout the entire process. The crew who unloaded my items was just as careful and the first crew. On top of the exceptional care for my items, Suddath recycles all boxes, paper, etc. that was used in the process. Professional and Green two traits that work well for Suddath!

Michael Cormier and the entire Suddath Portland organization stepped up in huge way to donate cloths, coats, food and funds to support the local Portland homeless community. Through their heartfelt and generous donations to Gorilla Soup over 60 people were feed hot soup, given water and various items of clothing. The care and genuine concern for people other than themselves are qualities that the Suddath folks live and is worthy of admiration and emulation.
