I used to live in that neighborhood and had to go in all the time to this branch. The employees were across the board rude and slow, no matter how long the line out the door was. People walked out shaking their heads in disbelief at the level of surly bluntness and attitude they got when they had to deal with some of the employees face to face. (Especially if it was 5 minutes to close, WOW! I saw people get kicked out even if theyd been standing in line for 15 minutes! And they got kicked out with little regard for manners.) Only recently, one blond woman with an accent, was super nice and helpful. Im pretty sure shes new, and man, it was a breath of fresh air. She was patient, kind, and smiled a lot. What a difference THAT made. Some basic human courtesy goes a long way with me. I hope she never leaves. She and the other kind ones need to host a coup and throw out those crabby employees. Just because they get paid the same no matter what by the government doesnt give them the right to treat everyone like crap. I say we treat this like any other business and boycott and complain when they get mean. Also, Id like to point out that the phone number listed above is no longer in service. Pretty lame that their phone number doesnt even work and they dont bother to update anyone about it. The main post office helpline isnt helpful at all when you want the real number.

See Mike Drains review. I had an insured package pass through this PO...it arrived there (scanned) Sept 14th was delivered 3 months late (scanned) Dec 16th and the box had been opened from the bottom and a valuable item taken. If you get packages through this PO check the tape on the bottom to see if the box has been opened. If everything is there be thankful they found nothing they wanted. If you insure a package with USPS dont expect to get the money due you if something happens to your valuables. I use FedEX and UPS now. USPS never again.

Unless James helps you, You will have Hands down worst post office experience ever. Employees are rude and take 15 minutes to help each customer (Unless Its James). If you end up being in line be prepared to hang out there for and hour or so. Never in my life have I seen slower employees who do not care even the slightest about their job. If i were you when you get to the counter just ask for James to help and refuse service from all others.

I asked the clerk behind the counter to borrow some tape to seal my envelope. He responded that he had none, completely ignoring the roll on the reel next to his register. I asked him about the reel next to his register. He said it was not good tape and then blamed his co-worker for ordering the wrong kind. It was tape that would have sealed the envelope. He said i would have to buy a roll of tape for $4+. #FailingAtCustomerService

I cringe every time I had to go into this location. If this was a company in the public sector it would have closed a long time ago. The people are often rude and slow. There is a blonde lady, I think she is German, and she is the only person I like to work with. When I stand in line I cross my fingers that she will help me. The government needs to do better.

Firstly, my priority package was shipped on the 21st from MN and got to Portland the day before christmas, which landed on a Sunday. This place is closed on the weekends, and ""observes"" Christmas on Monday. "Serving the Public" plaque on the front of the building is quite an overstatement for the USPS. Never again.

not only does our Business Mail NOT get picked up regularly.... but they wont even answer the phone at 9:45 AM on a Thursday ( 3 times ive called now and just rings and rings and rings until the call disconnects...) so i can ask them if there is a new trick i dont know about. smh.

Our postman out of this office is one corrupt individual. Makes up own postal regulations, pilfers packages, swaps contents from packages in some instances. Ive had to swap my USPS deliveries to an alternate address just so I can actually receive my items.

Who reviews the US Post Office? Its a post office. That means they have strict hours and their staff is stretched thin. /def/ noun. a place where mail is sent at slower than light speed.

I used to work near this location and found it very convenient. Lines were either very short or very long, but it was generally short on boxes and Priority Mail items.

Extremely rude grey haired woman working at the counter. She was making offensive, insulting comments as I accessed my P.O. Box.

Warning: there is no stamp machine at this location. If you just need stamps, you will need to wait in line. FAIL.

Well, it is a post office. It is a pretty good one at that. Usually there isnt much of a line, so that is a plus!

Pretty average post office, a little slow and frustrating. That is how they are everywhere though.
