I have never in my life encountered such a HORRIBLE post office experience that is ongoing. Recently, I was missing ALL of my weekly magazines, 4 of them are supposed to be delivered on Friday, but for a few years its hit and miss, maybe I get them on Saturday, maybe Monday...2 weeks ago Monday came and NO magazines in my mail box, I called and spoke with "John" who seemed to care, took my info and my cell number and promised to call me of where my missing magazines were. NO return call. I was hoping to find my missing magazines in my mail box on Tuesday.... and NO they were still MIA, I decided to give "John" a extra day to call me back... NO call from John on Tuesday. It is now Wednesday and I checked my mail box, and the MIA magazines are still not in my mail box, so I called John, again...I asked him what he found out about my missing magazines and why he didnt call me back like he said he would, his reply was that there is a "new" mail courier taking over the route while the "regular" mail carrier was out, and he would research where the magazines were. I contacted my magazine carriers and reported the missing magazines, which they will extended another month issue for my "missing: (MIA) magazines. It is now Thursday, and all of a sudden, one of my missing 4 magazines was in my mailbox.... Frustrating and I will for sure QUIT my subscriptions with EVERY magazine I currently get until I can move away from the St Johns Post office service area. I am sure the "staff" will be disappointed at St Johns, for their FREE reading of our magazines will end.... and I am not someone who complains, but this POST OFFICE really is the worst of the worst of Government run businesses..... and Dont even get me started with the "in branch" service...... thats a nightmare in itself as well.

Ive used this post office for the last 8 years, and whereas it does not look like the Hilton, I dont feel it is nasty at all (unlike other reviewers). The inside looks like ... a post office. The outside is in need a some landscaping, a bit of an eyesore when the weeds come in and they let them grow. But functionally it is still a post office. They even have a drive thru mail drop-off on the right side of the building. Although I dont anymore, back in 2003-2006 I mailed hundreds of packages (selling stuff on eBay) and I never had a single complaint from those I shipped to - in regards to received package condition, missing package. This also included lots of Canada and Europe shipments as well. It is located conveniently right next to a Safeway.

I sent out 4 different envelopes on a Monday morning August 22nd. One of the envelopes was sent certified and that is the only one I know of so far that has reached its destination. It is now September 7th and one of them I sent to Washington was never received (not sure about the other two). When I called the post office a week after they were sent out to check on what could have possibly happened or could be done I was told there was nothing they could do and that it took 5-10 business days to for standard mail to get to where its going. So now there are things missing that now need to be replaced and paper work redone. I am extremely disappointed and upset with the professionalism at this location.

Ive had the worst luck with this post office. Ive had numerous packages returned for postage due that wasnt really due where I had to go into the post office and get the problem resolved, 2 packages going international go missing and a package delivered empty to a customer. All in 3 months. I have ran a home business for 3 years shipping an average of 30 packages a day and in the entire time havent had as many issues until i moved to the N Portland area, I dont recommend high volume shipping through this office the clerks are friendly but I cant afford these delays and problems.

THIS POST OFFICE IS THE MOST DIRTY NASTY POST OFFICE WE HAVE EVER USED IN THE UNITED STATES POSTAL SYSTEM. WE SHIP FOR OUR BUSINESS AND WE KNOW WHAT WE ARE TALKING ABOUT. THE GENERAL MANAGER DOES NOT CLEAN THE NASTY MOLD AROUND THE FRONT AND TRASH AND CIGARETTE BUTTS, NEWSPAPER AND EVEN HYPERDERMIC NEEDLES ARE IN THE WAY. WE AHVE COMPLAINED AND HE DOES NOTHING. HOMELESS HANG OUT SIDE AND BEG FOR MONEY AND HE DOES NOTHING. WHEN WILL SOMEONE NOTICE AND SEE THIS SAD EXAMPLE OF US POSTAL SYSTEM.??

This post office is the exact reason I dont support tax supported government controlled mail. I run my own business so I need stuff delivered on time. Have had several problems with stuff showing up a week later or not at all. Lately, all deliveries have been infested with ants... all nonfood deliveries mind you. This post office is a joke and I WILL be finding a number and formally complaining to the postmaster general about this. Im going to the top. Ive had it with you idiots.

This post office is completely useless. 6 times in the last year the carrier has left messages in the mailbox saying that we were not home for a delivery. All 6 times I was seated 3 feet from our door. Not once did he come to the door. They are lazy and uncaring. Probably about these reviews too. Laziness and incompetence are what led to the rise of your competitors, dumbasses.

It always takes 45 minutes to go into the post office to mail something because there is 1 person working the counter and 4 others standing around talking. And now I have not had mail service at my house for 2 days. I put 2 letters in the box Tuesday and they are still there. Lets see if the postal service can be worthless for 3 days.

We dont get our mail regularly we have received bills weeks after they are due and at least once a week they give us our neighbors mail. If we get a package its not just inside of our storm door its just left out in the rain and when you try to call to talk to the post master you get hung up on.

Worst post office ever. The mailman places my mail on tops of the mailbox during days when it rains. My mother went down to the post office to complain and they said they would tell the mailman and just yesterday it happened again. Does anybody know who I can complain to?

I dont know why this post office is so unorganized. My mail keeps getting returned to senders with undeliverable as addressed when the address is correct. I dont get any mail delivered in 3 days in a row when Im expecting something important. What is going on?

So disappointed with mail carriers. I am out of the country and sent some items home to my house. Ive been waiting two months and just found out yesterday that it was returned to sender because they never delivered it. Total bull. Never use USPS!!!

I was very displeased that the older, bearded postal employee that was loudly voicing his political views to an obviously uncomfortable-but-too-polite-to-say-anything customer. It is extremely unprofessional for a government employee to do this.

Her name is Donna, older lady did not care about a letter which a wanted to send express, just dropped off to the pile, didnt ask if I need it anything else.. Haaaaa frustrating, I think she is tired almost time to close... 5:15 pm
