This place has the rudest reception staff I have ever encountered. The atmosphere is good, a little irritating that they let people in after the classes have already begun. There is nothing like people crashing in while you are trying to meditate. The cafe is fantastic, but why bother when the girls at the front desk treat you like dirt even though you have spent thousands of dollars there. Why do I go back? I try to give them the benefit of the doubt, hoping that they just had a bad day and will be feeling better soon, but after a year, I am giving up. Please take my advice when the girl with the really short brown hair is there just walk away, I swear her head might flip back and the devil might appear.

Ive been here for several of the classes, vinyasa, ashtanga, yin, etc. Great centrally located location (unless youre driving, then parking can get tricky) and nice studio w a little cafe in front. The teachers vary, Ive had several amazing teachers and a few that were so abstract and bizarre I thought they were trying to find a really awkward metaphor and syntax to make the practice their own rather than lead us in a semi-"normal" practice. Overall, Im pleased! Other than the strange yoga class where I literally had no idea what the instructor was trying to guide us through due to bizarre metaphors, I would love if more instructors would use music w their classes! Otherwise, Ive been pleased. (:

What a bummer to write a negative review for anything yoga. Having just moved to Portland, I was excited to check out the yoga scene and see where my practice would be taking place. I walked into Pearl Yoga and waited at the front desk while 5 women laughed and talked behind it. Each of them looked at me and looked away then a very rude blond woman without a smile said, yes?. I told her I was new in town and introduced my self...no smile... and what int/adv classes they had that day. She pointed at a schedule! Also, there is a shop, cafe, and yoga studio all in the same space and it feels like major traffic jam. I wont be going back.

The only place I will go! Not outrageous in price comparatively, really soothing, in the heart of it all and offers a wide range of yoga styles. If you get a monthly pass for $110, you can take unlimited classes. Perfect for the 3 times+ /week yogi! Plus, Prasad is right there and offers you a chance to grab a healthy pre or post yoga smoothie to round out the health benefits. They have nice locker facilities and their classes are very crowded in the evenings.

This place is so beautiful, and its nice they have a cafe right inside. Have taken Yoga therapy sessions here with Kelly Ponzi and acupuncture with Brynn Grahm. Both were wonderful and helped with the healing of my knee/ankle injury. If you love yoga and wellness you must check it out!

Yoga Pearl is definitely one of my favorite studios in Portland. Teachers are really experienced, both the studio spaces have a great feel, locker room has showers, and there is an awesome cafe inside the same building. Looking forward to checking out the studios new bamboo floors :)

Yoga Pearl is my mindfulness dojo. The staff is helpful and friendly, and the variety of yoga classes offered along with the some pretty stellar instructors makes for an intriguing yoga experience.

I love Blossoming Lotus and I love the location. Tiffanys class is challenging and has very interesting flow Everything else like the front desk bites.
