Our salesperson, Mitch, was great! He wasnt pushy, helped us find the van that would work best for us! After we started the process of trying to purchase this vehicle, things took a turn for the worse. The finance guys were very unhelpful. They were not willing to negotiate at all (isnt that what buying a car is all about?). He claimed that Capitol is upfront, open and honest about everything to their customers. We found out that was a lie. They "forgot" to tell us the truth on more than one thing. Fast forward several weeks (found a great van - better van and better deal - at a different dealership), I received a paper in the mail letting me know that Capitol had pulled my credit. The paper was letting me know what my credit scores were. When we were in the middle of the "buying process" we requested that our credit NOT be pulled. We knew what our credit scores were and didnt want a "ding" on our credit if we couldnt make a deal. We had filled out the paper so that if a deal was agreed upon, we could just sign and carry on. Well, when they were not willing to make that deal and we walked out, we had not signed that paper. So, basically the short version is - they are not upfront, open and most definitely NOT honest. We will never purchase a car from Capitol again.

The initial purchasing of the vehicle was to be expected. A lot of waiting and going over paperwork for something we already knew. The horrible part of our transaction was how demeaning the finance manager was to my wife. She was somewhat ignored by the sales team, even though it is her vehicle, but the finance manager, Toby Elmer, was the worst. We were working through a title issue due to her ex husband with the bank and DMV. Toby called and was very demeaning and rude to my wife. She explained twice the steps she was having to take to resolve the issue, per the DMV. Apparently he wasnt smart enough to understand, told her she was wrong and threatened that she would just have to come down with the money and take the trade in back. Worst customer service I have seen in a long time. Just lost customers and we will spread the word.

Riley Rice is awesome. He sold us a Hybrid Rav4. And we love it. Riley is the best salesman we have ever worked with. Because my husband works nights it was me and my caregiver who shopped around but the sales people at other car lots were rude, unprofessional and I believe they didnt see me as a potential buyer or they thought they could push me into a vehicles I didnt want. One salesmsn said they didnt have any hybrids. I knew they did. I talked to someone there, told them what happened. He did apologize and told me what they had. We came back to Toyota, and Riley remembered me by name. After that my husband came in and sealed the deal and in addition purchased a used van for work. My husband loved him too. This is the 4th car we bought from Toyota. Riley is the best, ask for him.

The salespeople are very kind and are not paid on commission. However just because a car says it costs a certain amount, it does not mean that is your cost. I was looking at two cars and I thought I was agreeing to the gas efficient one and signed the paperwork. Then I discovered that I got the cheaper car at a much higher price than what the sticker said. Never assume. Dont be like me, make sure to clarify like a normal person would do. The service is great. Im getting the oil changed for free for a while. Service technicians are always polite and thorough.

My fiance and I went to Capitol Toyota and we were helped by Daniel Garcia. Couldnt be happier with the experience. He was very friendly and helpful. I felt like I knew him my entire life. The finance guy (I think his name was Nate.) was friendly too. I never once felt pressured during the entire process. No one really likes to go buy a car right? Well Capitol Auto changes that game. The sales team is stellar. It actually felt like they wanted us to walk out with the car and price that WE wanted. Gavin and Larry spent time working with us and really provided great customer service. Daniel also made sure we got to see everything we wanted. I would very much recommend Capitol Toyota. We drove with the car we wanted and more.

Gavin and Billy were very helpful! These guys have the BEST prices and they do not pressure you. We have bought 3 toyotas from Capital. We also enjoy the service center. We drive up there even though we are out of town because they make customers so comfortable while waiting. I highly recommend them for sales and service.

Dropped in for an oil change, no appointment. They were busy but took me anyway saying might be as long as two hours. Didnt take nearly as long. Waiting room was well appointed with free coffee, tea, water, ice, fruit, popcorn, and fresh baked Otis Spunkmire cookies.

I had to wait almost 20 minutes in the drop off bay before a customer service rep came to help me. However, all the other cars behind and to the side, were attended to right away. Not happy with their slow service. It took over an hour and a half for an oil change!

If I could give this place zero stars I would. They intentionally mislabel ALL of their used inventory to get you in the door. They photo shop their inventories images. They are underhanded and sleazy. Lesson learned.
