I found a coupon for an oil change on Midas website. It was $19.99 for an oil change and tire rotation. Good deal right? When I called to make the appointment I asked if I needed to print out the coupon or would my smart phone work. He replied it was an in house deal and I didnt need to do anything. When he got my info he found me in his computer for I had been their once before. He asked if it was for my Acura and I concurred. We set an appointment for that day at 2. When I show up for my appointment the management informs me my $19.99 oil change will be $29.99 because of some strange reason that he gave saying that they have to put in 530 oil which is what is recommended my car use instead of 520 because they can be held liable if my engine fails. I had no idea what he was talking about since I have never heard of this before. I have gone to Jiffy Lube ect. and never had an upgrade charge before. Unlike my husbands Cadillac whos oil change is $100. I asked why I wasnt told over the phone about the change of price since they had taken the time to pull my records up and knew I was bringing in the Acura? He had no explanation and wouldnt honor the $19.99 deal. I really felt like the whole thing was a scam to try to get people in with one price and then once your there change the price on you.... I turned around and walked out. Shame on you Midas...

On Saturday 4/14/12 the manager Alex Rodriguez (not that one, a different mexican) quoted my fiance and I $522, then $532 to replace the water pump and timing belt on her car. First he wanted us to make an appointment for Monday, then apparently decided he could use the $532 and said theyd have it done by the end of the day. Several hours later we got a phone call saying a tool they needed was broken and he would have to travel to Portland to get it, and I would be "doing him a big favor" if we could just let them finish it "first thing Monday morning". Of course it wasnt done first thing Monday morning, and of course he didnt want to give us a discount for the inconvenience of waiting longer. He lied to my fiance and said I told him we didnt need the car until Monday anyways. So, we presented a $30 off coupon at payment, and magically, the quote raised from $532 to $562! He said he had already applied a $30 coupon at the time of the quote, but didnt say a word about it when printing the quote. We only had $502 to our names to pay and he made a big deal of telling me fiance that "we got a great deal". Thats total B.S. We gave these guys a chance and they blew it. Beware of this Midas.

If there was such a thing as negative stars, we would put -5 stars. We went in for an Oil change and some work done at Midas in November 2015 and at the time our minivan had around 87,000 miles. In February when we decided to sell our minivan we pulled a carfax report to show interested buyers that our van had a clean title and the services reported, to show credibility. Well Midas in November listed our van as having 250,000 miles!! We went in to show them their error, and they said there was no way of fixing. We contacted their owner so they can make things right or give us a statement to show that it was their technicians error that mis-entered the information. We have yet to hear back, since February we have been unable to sell our other wise perfect van. PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE> DO NOT GIVE BUSINESS TO A COMPANY THAT OTHER WISE IS IN BUSINESS TO SCREW THEIR CUSTOMERS. WE ARE IN THE PROCESS OF CONTACTING THE ATTORNEY GENERAL, AND THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU.

We went here to have our water pump fixed and have already had to take it back in for the water pump 3 times, 1 of the times it being a bad water pump that they put in when they fixed it, the rest of the times them just looking at it and saying nothing was wrong when apperntly there is/was cause we keep having to go back for them the fix there mistakes after they tell us that. Well after all the trips back there for the same reason we paid them alot to fixed, we are stuck in the road once again with something wrong with our water pump. It has all happened within a month of them fixing it....very disappointed in the service

LIARS AND CHEATS!! DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT GO HERE!! Midas offers an oil change, tire rotation, and complimentary multi-point inspection for $19.99 They claimed to have found that my struts were bad, that there was an oil leak, that the transmission fluid needed immediate replacing, and that my steering wheel fluid was leaking, and to get all of that "fixed" they wanted to charge me $800. Took my car, a TEN YEAR OLD Corolla to Capitol Toyota, where I should have gone in the first place, and they found ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WRONG with my car. DO NOT TAKE YOUR PRECIOUS TIME AND MONEY TO THESE SWINDLERS.

Fair price, but customer service is horrible. I got mufflers installed on my car a week ago and they are rattling pretty bad. I went to ask if the could look at them, since they installed them and they want to put me off for a couple of days. I know they are busy and i understand scheduling, but how about a customer service gesture by taking a look at them since i drove across town. The guy at the counter didnt even seem to care. On 10/8/16 i spent $35 getting the brackets welded back on and having both mfflers rewelded, due to holes in their welds. I recommend not going there.

They claim about changing owners and managers, but still the same style. I felt like they tried to milk every single penny they could get out of me. Mechanics need more training to diagnose a problem. They claim one problem, and it dominos into more money. If you want to use them, fine, but dont say you regret going there after reading this review. I recommend some other shop besides Midas. I had this same problem before, but I thought owners changed and it would be all right, but still the same style of milking. Good luck to those who go to this particular Midas!

Came here today for an alignment and they didnt end up giving me one instead they ended up messing with my brakes and my power Stering and tried charging me $1500 now my brakes make funny noise and jumps and my Stering wheel is harder to turn and squeks like what the hell did you guys do? Before I even took it to them my car worked perfect now its a mess a bad condition when pulling out of Midas dont come here SCAMMERS...

I have been taking my vehicles to this Midas location for almost 2 years. Since the first time I walked in the shop I have been treated like a loyal customer. All the guys in the shop are very friendly and knowledgeable mechanics and the manager Victor goes above and beyond every time. From oil changes, to brakes to new tires this is the only shop in town I go to and trust with all my vehicles.
