Recently added an upgrade to computer service. Was sent fed ex.As I was waiting for delivery--having tracked progress--saw fed ex drop off a package at the drug house two houses down--driver knocked on door and ran back to truck--stopped driver--asked where my package was--she had delivered my computer components to a drug house that would have sold the items. She caught the dealers as they were retrieving the package--took it away --and then made "me"sign for delivery!!!! Was on a work release injury and using perscription medication--so was loopy--but if I hadnt been home wouldhave lost equipment. Work in retail and have to sign for everything that comes thru the door---thought it was beyound strange that driver didnt confirm adress and didnt even wait for occupant to answer door--let alone sign for what was clearly stated as computer equipment. If youre waiting for delivery--see that it goes to an adress where someone will be home and can sign for delivery--I would have bben screwed if I hadnt been home.

I am with Andrew, I do not understand how so many people have had such a bad experience. I am a business owner and have my packaged held their a couple times a week because it is the fastest way for me to get the stuff I need. These people are always the nicest, happiest people every single time I go in. Every single employee even knows me by name and Ive only dealt with 2 maybe 3 of them personally. Every time my packages are ready for pickup they give me a personal phone call to let me know its ready, and even when I show up early they do their best to find my package quickly for me! They offered to have my packages automatically held at the FedEx location closest to my house which is one of either drivers first stops, but I would rather drive the extra 10 minutes because the people at this location are truly extraordinary! I could go on, and on about how fantastic the individuals are who work at this location. FedEx you are so fortunate to have a staff like this!

Several complaints with FedEx: First, like has been said, they deliver when Im not going to be home. But, I get they have a full truck and are trying to plan there route efficiently. Second, they dont even try to get to my door. I live in an apartment complex and they just stick the "sorry to have missed you" tag on the front door of the lobby. What am I supposed to do, sign it and ask them to leave my package outside the building? I tried signing the slip and leaving it on my apartment door, but they didnt seem to have taken the elevator to see if I was home. Just another sticker on the lobby door. Same day I found a UPS package waiting outside my apartment door. Third, the times you can come and "pick up your package yourself" are a bit of a joke. My most recent time slot: after 5:30. Of course, they close at 6:00. I dont know about you, but what I like to do after a hard day at work is hop back in the car and try to beat the clock to a warehouse.

Ive spoken to 3 fedex employees from the international way branches and every one of them was either totally inept and unable to answer my very basic questions or were incredibly rude, interupted me in the middle of my questions, asked innappropriate questions having nothing to do with home package delivery in a very rude manner. I will never use fedex again, Id sooner hire a homeless guy to delivery my packages via blind, one-legged donkey. I plan on telling them as much as soon as I get off work and go down there in person to let whoever is running that idiot asylum know that they are doing a terrible job of training their employees on the basics of polite customer interaction, not to mention failure to deliver a package to a secure location(apartment office) if the resident is not home to accept the package, that is the procedure stated on the fedex website, I guess those people havent quite figured out the whole interwebs thing. Thanks for listening.

Only delivery service that requires a signature when delivering. USPS and UPS will both just leave the package on my doorstep. I work nights, so I sleep during the day and wear noise cancelling headphones to block out all the noise that would otherwise keep me awake... So I cant hear a knock on the door. I paid an extra $10 in shipping on the item I ordered to have it here the day after I ordered it because it was something that I really needed as quickly as possible and I cant buy in a store locally, and now Im not going to be able to get my package until Monday because their store location is only open until 3:30pm on Saturdays and closed on Sundays. Super inconvenient delivery service for all of us people who have jobs and lives.

Springfield FedEx in trouble. Corporate needs to look at this depot and either supply them with more help or Replace who is running it. Website tracking not accurate. Items left Outside the gate for public to pick up at random when driver states, left on front steps or front door. I can count on UPS between 10 and 11:30 each day. I can count on USPS between 11 and 1 each day, I can not count on FedEx to even deliver when the tracking states, Out for Delivery. Makes it hard to run a business when the business closes at 5 pm and they "might" show up by 8pm. Not pleased as this is now the third time this has happened. Substandard Service.!!

I have ran a business in town for over 5 years. I open at 2:00PM They deliver at 10:00am. Then say "we will redeliver at 10am next business day" That helps.... I will STILL NOT BE HERE THEN AS WELL. I call an average of once a week, just to have a re-delivery, EVERY TIME I GET A FEDEX PACKAGE!!! EVERY TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Notes that are put in my account get overlooked, the note on MY BUSINESS DOOR THAT SAYS "ATTENTION FEDEX, I DO NOT GET HERE TIL 2:00PM , PLEASE GIVE THE PACKAGE TO A BUSINESS NEXT DOOR!!!" GETS OVERLOOKED. In fact, the door tag gets put on the note!!!

I honestly dont understand how bad these other reviews are. Ive always had pleasant dealings with FedEx. Professional, earnest, and hard working, they work with my company to ensure everything flows smoothly, given they are the parts lifeline for us. Ive yet to deal directly with their drivers, but the staff in the Will Call center are good folks.

I cant even get through the phone lines. I went through 20 minutes of an automated service that never got to my question or gave me the option to speak to a real person. I just need to know who the package is for so that person can pick it up. Every shipping company does this better.

Very lazy. An employee called me today on my phone asking me first if I would be willing to pick up the package or if it was alright to confirm the delivery without delivering and actually deliver it in 2 days.

Driver was rude! He was a total Jerk about the thought of taking our overnight package (already paid for) into his possession to get it to the warehouse. USPS blows these guys way in all aspects.
