The roof looks absolutely beautiful. We are so happy! This process started with wanting to install solar panels on our roof. Before we could do that, we had to install a new roof. DPI Solar recommended Mark’s Custom Exteriors (MCE). This was a big job. We have a single story ranch, which has a large surface area. All new plywood had to be installed before the roofing material could be installed. Mark walked us through the different options of roof styles and thicknesses. We selected the GAF Grand Sequoia high quality roofing shingles for durability and attractiveness. We learned a lot about the importance of proper venting with an asphalt roof as well as the mistake many people make by installing solar attic fans on an asphalt roofs and the moisture disaster it creates. For proper attic ventilation, MCE custom-made 24 under eave attic vents to match our existing ones. We were very impressed. GAF will guarantee our roof for 50 years because Mark’s Custom Exterior technicians are certified by the GAF company! MCE came on the day they were scheduled and completed the work in the scheduled timeframe. Their installers were respectful of our yard and property, polite, and did a fantastic job of cleaning up. We have already referred our dental hygienist to MCE and highly recommend them to anyone who is looking to replace their roof.

Marks Custom Exteriors was fantastic to work with. They took time and did a thorough assessment of our roof inside and out. They were able to give us a very competitive bid and stuck right to it. They didnt try to upsell us on anything, just provided us with all options. When the day came to do the job, they made arrangements to get it done a full day early to avoid horrible weather. Those guys hussled and got the old roof torn off, repairs made to the plywood underneath, and the new roof put down all in one day. There was always at least two guys cleaning up debris around the perimeter of the house too. They were very professional and did a great job. Marc stopped by when it was nearly complete to check in with us and see what we thought of the work. He wanted to be sure that we were completely satisfied before his crew left. I would strongly recommend Marks, you can count on them to do quality work and youll have piece of mind knowing that they did the job right the first time.

Two young men showed up the first day as promised ,quickly went about moving all articles beneath the roof line that would had gotten dirty. It was a two day job, they cleaned almost 75% of the roof the first day and then returned the second day to finish. My roof especially on the south side was very mossy, after they finished it looked 100% new , like it had been reroofed that day. I was not home for the second day ,but my neighbors were amazed at how spotless the grounds surrounding my house ,and my house itself were left . These type of jobs kick off a mess, but my area and house were spotless. Thanks again to those two hard working young men ,and Marks roofing for an excellent job. Would recommend to everyone. James

What a great experience! The estimate for the roof shampooing was done soon after I contacted them and the work was completed within a couple of weeks of contacting them. Our roof needed an extensive cleaning due to all the moss, lichens, etc. The guys did a thorough job and our roof looks like new! The gutters were cleaned and our skylights are beautifully clean too! They also did a thorough cleaning up after each day they worked leaving everything looking cleaner than when they started. Even got a follow- up phone call the same day to make sure we were happy! Nice to see there are businesses that care about customer satisfaction like they do. High, highly recommend!

After a home visit that included an inspection, show and tell of items to be installed and work to be done, we signed loan papers and a date was set. There was an additional visit to the showroom and all of my additional questions were answered. A professional team of competent, smiling workmen showed up on the date selected. They got to work and cleaned up the whole area (including the driveway, yard and surrounding area) afterwards. Any thing that needed an opinion, I was asked. It was a pleasure to deal with the company, the great workers, and I would highly recommend them. I love the new roof.

Always a Great experience with Marks! They replaced our roof 5 years ago and were the most competitive bid even with extra work added in. This year they did a Roof Shampoo for us. Deve[oped a leak in our roof, Called Marks, a rep came out gave us a bid . I asked to be put on the schedule and a couple days later a three man crew showed and installed a new ridge vent---- end of leak. Very thankful to have it done in such a short time span.
