TL;DR. The roofer deceived me and charged me a rate of $650 an hour for labor. ACME Roofing did a terrific job fixing a small leak which originated from my roof. However, the person who gave me the quote was deceptive in the time it would take, and the cost in parts. I got an estimate from ACME and they quoted me for $550 parts and labor for what he claimed would take the better part of the day to fix. With his hands he gestured like he was going to have to replace two meters squared of regular asphalt shingles, install a new bathroom vent, and "fix-up" the rest of the roof. Man oh man was it going to be some work. Well he spent a total of 45 minutes working, installed a total of $30 of parts, and put a bit of extra caulk around random places on my rooftop. I was a bit angry when I saw how little work he did as compared to the amount he stated he would do. He didnt even use the correct color shingles. I paid and didnt make a fuss, but here I am warning the people of UP to get more quotes than from just ACME.

I am beyond pleased with the roofing service I received from Acme Roofing. I have been pricing roofing companies for about year with prices up to 13,000.00 for a 1100 square foot home. I was referred to ACME Roofing by a coworker. They immediately sent out a representative to give me a quote. The representative was very patient and explained exactly what would happen and explained how it would look. The price was 1/2 of what of what I had been quoted. The representative gave me the opportunity to pick the color of my choice. I was so surprised when he said it would only take one day, as I had been told 2 to 3 days by other roofers. The gentlemen came and as soon as it stopped raining, they got started and the job was complete in one day. There was no debris left, it was just like they had never been there, except I have a beautiful new roof. I highly recommend ACME roofing. Wanda

I recently had a new roof installed by Acme Roofing and was very pleased with the work performed. The roof installed was very difficult with a number of dormers, valleys and crickets but Acme completed the work without any issues. I found Acme Roofing to be very professional and easy to deal with both in the field and on the project management side. I will do business in the future and would recommend Acme Roofing to others. I have been calling them for three weeks and they tell me im on the list to be seen (for my leak), but there are lots of leaky roofs theyre attending too. They always tell me they are 3-4 days out, but theyll call me to schedule an appointment and they never call. What started as a small leak is now a large leak thanks to them. I would have given zero stars, but they are friendly on the phone so they get one star.

Acme just did my roof this summer. Their crew spent one week completing my house and two garages. The labor was extensive as I had a concrete tile roof which made removing it very difficult. The finished job looks great and I couldnt be happier.
