Please whatever you do, DO NOT get your nails done here! All I wanted was my French nail shellac removed and then redone. It was the worst job I have ever seen. The girl doing my nails obviously had NO idea what she was doing. As she was getting ready to put the bottom coat of shellac on she used a coarse nail file to "make the shellac stick on better", and when I asked her about it because nails pieces were obviously sticking out and very rough she just shrugged it off. On top of that the shellac she was using was old and chunky. If I could tell and knew she could tell but yet refused to get new. Its like serving a burnt sandwich, would a waitress bring that out to the customer and except them to be happy? The French nail polish was horrible, uneven and just sloppy. I am not one to complain but I decided the next day I would go in and say something since it cost me $65 for a shitty job. The manager or owner was very rude. She saw it was a bad job, made an excuse for the nail girl, and told me that if I was unhappy that the nail girl would redo it. I said no, why would I want someone who obviously has no idea what they are doing to redo them? I told her I want a refund for the nail job. She flat out refused. So I walked out. I sure didnt want to waster another hour in a half of my life (yes thats how long it took for the first job!) for another shitty job. I went to another nail salon the following weekend and got my nails done perfectly for $25! And for a Friday NO female was in there getting there hair done, red flag for me. Hope this place shuts done for bad business practices.

Belong Salon, and specifically Norma saved my sanity and my hair from a terrible fate! The Disaster: I was between stylists, and as a Chrsitmas present, had received a groupon for a different salon. I asked for a pixie cut, and showed the stylist pictures of what I wanted. After my hair had been cut into a bob, and the stylist tried to argue with me that it was a pixie cut, I left, and began to search the web for a competent hair professional. Thats where Belong & Norma came to the rescue. I called in tears, explained what had happened, and Norma managed to fit me into the schedule later that same day. She took a look at the pictures of the pixie cut I tried to get at the other place, and I finally got the exact haircut I wanted, beautifully styled. Belong Salon gave me excellent customer service, had a clean shop, and most importantly gave me the haircut I wanted, for a reasonable price. I easily recommend this salon to anyone.

I have been going to Belong Salon for many years. After moving here from CA I was very nervous about finding a good stylist. Norma is the owner of the salon & has always done a great job in both cutting & color. She listens to what I want & always gives me her professional opinion but at the same time makes sure I am happy. Her results are amazing & she always is very accommodating to my schedule when booking my appointments. I truly believe Norma really cares about her customers & making sure they leave her salon with amazing hair is of the utmost importance to her. If I could rate Norma with 10 stars I most certainly would do so. If you are looking for a stylist with great vision & one who truly puts her customers first in making sure their hair looks GREAT, you need to call Norma at Belong Salon. I highly recommend NORMA & can honestly say you will be happy you did........I WAS

I tried finding a salon closer to my home and happened to find Belong Salon. I called in, talked to Norma and was pleasantly surprised that I was able to get an appointment a day or two after calling. My first experience was great! Norma is extremely friendly and did a great job cutting my hair. I really appreciate her ability to be able to multitask, carrying on a conversation with me while cutting my hair. Ive gone back several times now and am always extremely satisfied with how my hair looks. Norma also has a great memory, remembering what we talked about last time I was in so were able to catch up on that. I would definitely recommend Norma and Belong Salon to anyone looking to find a salon in the Tualatin area.

I went here for a haircut from Norma because of the fabulous reviews and a friend of mine had a great experience here. Definitely will be back again! My haircut was perfect, even better then what I requested. She listened to my suggestions but gave me some to help make the cut just right. I have never had so many compliments in one day from a new haircut! Even people I didnt know commented on how good it looked. I am so pleased because I have had many bad experiences with hairstylists. Norma is super skilled and also super fun to talk to, along will all the other employees that were in the office when I got my haircut. It was such an enjoyable experience and I cant wait to go back! Thanks Norma :)

Fantastic Haircut and Color!!! My appointment was with Norma and I absolutely loved her and the beautiful job she did on my hair. I hadnt had my hair professionally done in about 3 years. Long, all one length and very gray. I brought in pictures of shorter, layered styles and some colors I was considering. Norma has a great eye for face shape, skin tones and she customized a cut and color that I am thrilled with. I will definately be back and recommend her to anyone looking for a hairdresser. So if youre like me and dont know where to start...give her a call. As a final footnote: I was checking out the other sylists and their clients and it appears all the gals do a great job!

I went in there once. I wish I remembered the name of the gal that I spoke with but I sat in her chair and asked if she would color my hair. She immediately started arguing with me that my hair needed color correcting which I was okay with and she was pulling my hair yelling at me saying that she had to do more than one step to fix my hair...at that point Im like fine I will go somewhere else then if you are going to act that way. And I walked off. I dont know if all the women there are like that but this one in particular was CRAZY! I wish I would have thought of telling management at the time but I didnt. All I really needed that day was pampering. Will never go in there again!

I am thoroughly grateful for Belong Salon. I receive nothing but wonderful service time after time. Norma is the best stylist Ive found so far, and she is the only one that can style my A-Line cut. I am very particular about my hair and I can happily recommend Belong Salon and its Team to anyone who is looking for a salon group who will listen to your needs and cut the style you want. Norma even let me come in after three days and make some additional cuts with my length or bangs, with no additional cost! Belong Salon is a very supportive, clean and friendly environment.
