If I could submit zero stars, I would. Before I get into why, I should let you know that I attempted to reach out to this company seven times to give them the opportunity to fix this issue before submitting a review. Whether I called, left voicemail, messaged or texted them, they did not respond. This was my first time using this company, and I wanted to set up recurring cleaning twice monthly at our new place, but first needed a move out clean from the old spot. It was only 600 square feet with hardwood floors, so fairly easy. She had me meet her to provide cash only because it was the first visit, and told me I would get a receipt at that time. I was never provided with a receipt, however. In fact, she had me go to the store for her to purchase additional cleaning supplies that she didnt realize she didnt have enough of. I returned after they were done to remove some nails from the wall before our final move out, and was shocked at the state of the "move out clean." Move out cleaning is supposed to be even deeper than deep cleans, and it appeared that only the appliances were cleaned. There was a lot of dust on the fan and the ceiling above it, the floors needed to be swept and mopped (isnt this standard?), the baseboards needed to be cleaned, the porch needed to be swept, the door frames and doors needed to be cleaned, the top of the fridge, medicine cabinet and other cabinets needed to be dusted and cleaned, the microwave vent needed to be cleaned, the patio door frames were very dirty, etc. Its unacceptable to have someone hire you for your services if you are not going to complete them. Its unprofessional not to respond to your customer, and its false advertisement to say you will do something and not do it. This is so frustrating, and its unbelievable that someone would do business like this. This company states that its guaranteed or its free. I have yet to even hear back after requesting the clean either be completed, or that I get a refund. This means its definitely not guaranteed. If you decide to go with this company, please stay for the duration of the cleaning to ensure its done. Its hard to pay someone $140 AND go to the store to get their supplies when they dont even do the job that you paid for.

Where do I start? I needed my apartment cleaned. Badly. The winter months arent my finest - takeout every night, cozy blankets, movies, and ice cream. But! I also work. A lot. I need that time to unwind before I go back to the daily grind. So, I decided to book a cleaning service. Ive tried many companies throughout PDX. None have meshed with me (read: they all left my apartment dirty). I decided to try Nikis Cleaning Services. They blew my mind. I came home to the cleanest apartment Ive ever seen. The best part? I didnt hear a peep from them. The maid was extremely professional (she came as I was leaving for my office), sweet, and prepared. She had a bunch of supplies with her. The comfort level was established instantly. She also let me know if anything did come up, the company would reach out to me immediately, and that I could contact the company any time during the cleaning :). Overall she did spectacularly. I left my place a disaster and I came home to a pristine, new, and welcoming apartment. It couldve been a showroom. This is the best maid service in all of Portland Oregon by far. Ill definitely continue using Nikis Cleaning and recommend them to my friends. Theyre now my go to cleaning service. As a matter of fact, Im going to sign up for weekly cleanings :)

The ladies that worked at my house were very nice and I really want to be able to write a better review. The first sign that things might not be right were when they would not return calls or messages regarding the service in the days leading up to the appointment. They did not answer many of the questions we had and were not even able to provide an accurate arrival time. This was a move-in clean and was fairly straight forward. I asked for a deep clean of the bathrooms and kitchen, as well as the blinds and light fixtures. They quoted $200 and demanded cash up front when they arrived. They barely stayed for 2 hours, left without saying goodbye, and did not complete much of the work. Maybe they are better for standard day to day cleanings rather than deep cleans? The cabinets and drawers in the kitchen were very grimy, trash was left in the cupboards, the toilets still had visible residue with streaks through where they must have done a brief pass with a brush, and they didnt even sweep or mop the floor. I have never been so disappointed in a professional service. I highly recommend you find someone else.

IT is VERY VERY difficult for me to give 5 stars for a cleaning service as I have tried so many and they have epic-ally disappointed. However, I used Nikiss service in March before moving into my apartment so they can clean the dust and dirt off every shelf and clean the beyond disgusting oven and refrigerator that was left behind. They did a PHENOMENAL job!!!! They left behind the little ledge outside my apartment and the broiler in my oven and Maritza sent them the next day to come clean it and they did.. and did a phenomenal job. I am now going to be using Nikis service to clean my apartment on a monthly or biweekly basis. Again.. this is hard, but I really think they make a significant difference.

Id never used a house-cleaning service before and wanted to surprise my husband with a spotless house while he was away for a weekend, so I decided to contact Nikis cleaning. After setting up the appointment, something came up and I had to reschedule the week of, and they were able to accommodate my request for my ideal time. The actual session was great, my consultant did a very thorough job, and there was even a walk through at the end by a supervisor to make sure it was exactly what I expected.

Had a party over the weekend for my friends birthday and lets just say it was not nice after the party ended. My friend recommended NIkis to me. I would usually clean up the mess but this was on a whole new level so I decided to call them for help. The maids arrived on time and they walked with me through the rooms. They seemed like they were really nice people and listened to everything I had to say. Within a few hours they were done cleaning and I was extremely happy with the results!
