I tried using this cleaning service and was given a price for services based on a phone quote. The price was comparable to other services so I made a reservation for services as discussed. They promised 4 cleaners, who would be at my home for @ an hour, at a price of $xxx.xx amount for the cleaning. When 3 cleaners arrived without the company even informing me of this change, I thought, "ok..." and realized that, obviously, it would take 3 cleaners more time than 4 so I expected them to be in my home for longer than the quoted hour. What I did NOT expect, was the bill for TWICE the amount quoted. After inquiring, the head cleaning lady showed me a sliding scale based on the time they spent in my home! So they were slow-being only 3 instead of 4-and I paid nearly double the given quote! NOT ONCE did the office personnel state during the estimate call state that the estimate was HOURLY. I specifically asked if the quote for services given over the phone was indeed for the entire cleaning and was told yes. I received my confirmation of services letter the day AFTER the cleaning with the original quote for a first time cleaning service which also stated the time frame quoted as "about an hour", but it did NOT state in the letter that quote was an HOURLY quote! Of course I called, spoke with a man who had no idea where the office personnel who does the quote was was and could not help me himself. I asked him to have her contact me with an explanation of the bait and switch tactic used at their company and with options for correcting the the situation and the overcharge. They made NO attempt to resolve the issue, and NO attempt to honor their original quote. Please note, the cleaners-who had difficulty expressing the fee change due to limited English-are not to blame. They were polite and did a nice job but are just unfortunate pawns in "The Maids" scam. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY-VERY FRAUDULENT-POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE (The system would not allow me to give "0" stars so a way too generous 1 star it is!)

I have been using the Maids for about three months. The same team of four very hard working ladies come every two weeks and have my home spotless in about 45 minutes. The work that they do is very high quality; they clean the way I would. My house was purchased as a fixer upper and the cabinets were white and looked awful. I had tried cleaning them several times and had just accepted that while they were clean they would never be spotless. The Maids proved me wrong, and got marks and stains off of them that I thought were permanent! The two things people look for when they are deciding on a professional cleaning service are how well they do the job and if they can be trusted. Today the crew found a Macys gift card that I had lost over six months ago. I had searched high and low for that card to no avail; I had written it off as gone for good. When I got home today the gift card (which has several hundred dollars on it) was sitting on my kitchen table. Anyone could have EASILY pocketed that card and I would have been none the wiser. I can trust my cleaning team in my home, and they are incredibly good at what they do. If you are considering a cleaning service, The Maids are the only way to go!

I have been using The Maids for the past 3 years on a twice a month basis. I am very happy with their services. Initially, a team member came out to my house, evaluated my space, inquired what I expected from them, and from there gave me a very reasonable quote for the services I specified. Since then, they come promptly every scheduled appointment and do a VERY thorough cleaning in a short amount of time! The staff is friendly, courteous and TRUSTWORTHY which was a huge concern of mine after having a very responsible cleaner in the past. They usually come in with a team of 3-4 people so with each person assigned to a different area, they exhibit efficiency and really have time to tend to the deep cleaning. I found this to be a huge plus for me as I find it hard to give up my home to a cleaning service for more than a few hours. The last review was so negative that I had to speak up and give them a good recommendation. I have been extremely happy with my whole experience!

I had a last second need for a substantial cleaning of my 2 bedroom duplex a few weeks ago, and after calling around The Maids were able to get a team out the same day (which was a lifesaver!). They did a fantastic job given the amount of work needed. They stayed well within their estimate for time and the quality fo the work was amazing (if you saw before and after pictures youd be shocked). I now have them doing a routine cleaning every other week and I can honestly say having used other housekeeping services before they are at the top in terrms of quality. HIGHLY recommended.

Truly, the best cleaning service Ive found in the Twin Cities. White glove, all the way--my crew doesnt miss a thing, and the team is pleasant and trustworthy. They send four people, so my house is clean in just under two hours (its a large place). The customer service is impeccable, quickly responding to requests and schedule changes, and they are always accommodating. Ive used other services. While The Maids might be a bit pricier than others, theyre worth every penny. The Maids are the best.

Their team did a FANTASTIC job at my rental property yesterday. That house was a real mess after the remodeling I had done and the team was incredible. They showed up on-time, were very friendly, and just tore into that project. They were absolute cleaning machines and the house was spotless when they left. I really appreciate their effort!

Too slow, too expensive. They charged me ($500.00 for 4 baths and main level cleaning only) I now pay 175.00 for the entire house and much better service. The owner was too embarrassed to even call me back for a second cleaning. I wouldve said absolutely not. I shouldve asked for a refund
