Decent Movers I will say that James did a pretty good job with the estimate (which was very reasonably priced), and was upfront with all of the fees that would be charged. He did understand the needs for my move to my new location (Philly.) They knew that they would have to double park, he asked me about how tight the street parking was, etc. Also, I did like that there was a 10% discount if you paid cash. In general, the movers were very helpful. I wasnt 100% done packing, and one of the 3 guys actually helped me finish packing while the other 2 moved stuff out of my apartment. They moved very quickly, which I also appreciated. The big issue that I had was that the movers actually damaged my 40 in TV, despite be wrapped and packed by the movers. I only found out on the day after the move, when I was having my cable set up. I contacted James, and he had me fill out an investigation form, and he talked to his movers. Even though the insurance I signed up for only covered damage for pennies for each pound (and it was a super light TV) , James agreed to contribute half the cost towards a replacement. Although it was not the full value, and I had to shell out for a new one, I appreciate the fact that he was a man of his word, and wanted to rectify the situation. That is really hard to find at so many companies, and is something to be commended. So BEWARE! If you have valuable stuff--get the best insurance possible and do some of the wrapping yourself.

I rented a U-Haul to take my daughter back from college. We ordered a 9 foot cargo van one month before the move date. Our receipt clearly notes a 9 foot cargo van. Apparently that was not good enough because they changed us to a much larger truck. I indicated I was not comfortable driving the much larger truck. Their story then changed to this was a free complementary upgrade and that we should be happy we got upgraded. I do not think I am the only person or customer of U-Haul who would not want a much larger vehicle that I was not comfortable driving. They were rude, and totally unhelpful. They then suggested we speak to corporate. Corporate was equally rude and unhelpful. We then had no way to take my daughter back home from college. They are awful, their customer service was awful, there was not one helpful or polite or even remotely sympathetic individual that we encountered at uhaul. Thank goodness one has an ability to write a negative review when service has been below par.

This is the absolute worst storage unit EVER! we paid for 24 hour access and the people working there screwed up and never did it properly so on multiple occasions we tried to go pick up items and were denied. And if the facility had normal after work hours we wouldnt have to be scammed into shelling out more money to pay for 24 hour access. We also got screwed with our one unit because it had a huge pillar in the middle of it taking up space yet we received no discount for getting less storage space. When I contacted the manager about this issue he never got back to me. If you want to be scammed out of your money then sign up. Otherwise Id say its worth it to even pay a little bit more money to go to another storage facility. The manager of this place is absolutely incompetent and should be fired.

This is the worst location EVER. Chelsea Grube is the most unprofessional, unpleasant, and lackadaisical version of a Manager I have EVER coordinated with. The lack of follow-up via email and telephone is absolutely appaling as is her attitude. She continuously stonewalls when you request to speak to a District or Regional Manager. Also, the phones are NEVER answered at this location. It always bounces to Reservations who then needs to transfer you to Customer Service who leaves her an E-Message which she claims to never receive. Also, my unit received water damage last year and they had to cut my lock. I have now been waiting for almost a year to receive the replacement keys from the new lock. #disgusting

The worst location ever. Over three weeks of unanswered phone calls regarding a hitch I ordered AND PAID for and was SUPPOSED to be installed weeks ago. Leaving on vacation soon and needed the hitch by now. Spent forever on the phone with these people AND the 800 number. Everyone is "so concerned" and wanted to help me and NO ONE DOES. I was promised on THREE SEPARATE DAYS when I called to inquire about my hitch, that someone would call me back by the end of the day. No one ever did. At this point I just want my money back and will have to hope theres another reliable local company that can do a last minute hitch for me. Run away from this company as fast as you can.

It was sad to discover he nor Amanda were no longer with the company. Lucky for us the new team also had some talent But they were no match to the Amazing Amanda or Ravishing Ray thank you both for your unmatched service

I rented a van from this location with nothing but problems. I spoke to management and she definitely is not management material. Didnt care about my issue and was very nasty and no people skills. Im very surprised with U haul that they would allow this at one of there locations. I would stay away from this place in the future.

Fast. cheap and easy. Just the way I like it. Brian the attendant was very polite, calm and helpful. The rates were so reasonable that I chose the most expensive insurance coverage because I felt like they werent making enough on the deal. I rented a trailer for 6 hours. Would definitely do it again. Thanks.
