they dont deserve the one star that google makes you click to post a review.. I hereby take it back - NO STARS- THEY ARE THE WORST MOVERS EVER- DID NOT DELIVER ON ONE THING THEY SAID THEY DO.. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE... BEWARE DONT GET CHARMED BY WANDA A VERY NICE PERSON. THE ENTIRE STRUCTURE DOESNT CARE, TO MAKE A CUSTOMER HAPPY AND DELIVER A REFUND . USE TWO GUYS AND A TRUCK OR BROAD STREEDT MOVERS I IM SO SORRY I DIDNT- HERS MY STORY READ ON------ asked for a refund of wardrobe boxes charged but never used. I asked for money off the move they only said they would give me $50 dollars back. I had to call and wait over a month for that. Hers the tale of the worst movers I have ever hired. ( college parent this is the 3th move for my kids ) they were supposed to be there no later than 4pm 8/1/15 and showed up at 8pm. the weekend dispatcher was off for the day.- I was promised a dispatcher would be working to handle problems I was standing in the street for over 4 hours to hold a space of 19ft for the truck to park in, the streets are so tight that double parking the truck would have blocked the entire street...It was so hot and I was furious So, ( flat tire thats why Im late , sure sure) they sent a crew that didnt want to be there. They were exhausted after a full day of their own schedule. The 3 member crew were fighting between themselves and kept stopping work to squabble. They didnt bring wardrobe boxes that I had paid for and made a big show of calling another crew to get them as we are shouting to them we dont need them anymore.. they of course stopped working to make the calls . the move was to be 3 parts, a bedroom and all the boxes in a off campus temple U apt plus 2 SUV s full of stuff. they were so late we did 2 suvs plus 1/2 the boxes of the move ourselves. plus the entire closet that was supposed to fill 4 wardrobe boxes. ran out to buy boxes to pack them up ourselves hours earlier while we were waiting for them to come. to make matters worse. there was no electric ( lights) in the apartment we were going too move into, so I kept saying hurry up before it gets dark lets finish.. made them go slower.. they dont wrap furniture like they said they do just shoved it in the truck and the feet of the dressers splintered on the floor of the truck - I asked them to tape up plastic draw units. they were to lazy to do it so they would pick them up, the drawers would drop off and spill all over the street and in the truck as they lifted them into the truck- I already prepaid on a credit card for 3 hour move with 3 movers - what is unforgivable is that I did my move myself. exactly what my family didnt want to do , thats the whole point. so after complaining in a very nice , insistent way.. I was not refunded a full cost of 1 hr which was $88 nor half the move which is what I asked for - $50 only. and it was up to me to call again and again for over a month to get it.. and had to fight to get the unused boxes credited also--- natch Dirt cheap movers.. you get what you pay for - crap service.. Wanda in customer service is sweet , thats why I gave it a shot to try them.. they whole company failed .. they were responsible for a smooth professional on time move .. they cannot deliver---didnt deliver-- asked to speak to the manager/owner on the phone.. that never happened so I waited and waited to see if they had the smarts to change their mind.. no; so I hope this loses them business they are not reliable at all

My complaint isnt with the staff that comes to your home to help you with your move. My problem is with the front office management, including the scheduling, managers and owners of the business. I called them to schedule a move for May 3, 2014. The person on the phone, Wanda, informed me that the staff would arrive between 12 pm and 2 pm with the truck, movers, boxes and other supplies and told me that the total price for all the services that would be provided would be $320. The office called me approximately 1:30 to inform me that their "prep crew" were on their way to help me get started packing. The two gentlemen arrived and told me that there was a charge of $70 per hour for them to do their jobs, which was never told to me when I spoke to Wanda the day before. My friend called the owner of the business, whom she knew personally and let him know about the difficulty I was having and somehow managed to get me a "discount" on my services and my new total would be $1200, which was obviously substantially different than the price I was quoted the day before. The "prep crew", who by the way the proprietor told me that he was throwing in their services "free of charge" began their work while we waited on the moving truck to arrive. After about an hour, we started to call the office repeatedly to see what the status was on the arrival of the moving truck. Every time we attempted to contact the office, they didnt answer the phone. After several attempts, they FINALLY called us back, and told us that the moving truck would be there in the next 30 minutes. It didnt show up. Then it was an hour away, still didnt show. We ended up waiting all day. The truck didnt arrive until almost 9:00 pm. Needless to say, I was extremely angry. The truck driver informed me that they were sent on a job in Burlington, New Jersey that their manager told them would be a short assignment. It ended up lasting all day, then they came to my house by order of their manager to pick up the "prep crew", who were dropped off earlier. The driver saw my level of anger and after I explained to him the situation, he apologized and told me that hed be back at my house the next morning at 10:00 am. It was him only that arrived that Sunday morning and he had to wait for the rest of the crew to arrive, which they didnt get there until after 11:00, along with the assistant manager, who acted as if the entire delay was my fault and tried to rush me to get the job done. After he left, the crew along with my family and myself began the work on moving my things out of the house. The crew that was there, as well as the "prep crew" from Saturday did a great job. If I could give them a separate review, Id say that I loved their work. But the "management", after my experience with them and the losses that I received due to their poor style of business operation, I am obtaining an attorney and filing suit, because too many things went wrong. What was supposed to be a one day operation ended up taking two days. Absolutely outrageous!!!!!

I will start off by saying I wish you could rate the movers versus the moving company. The MOVERS were great! Very helpful, speedy and careful. They took their time and were very efficient, although a few items were broken, these things happen when moving long distances and hence why the insurance company has "insurance." They also helped make me feel at ease during this stressful time. Would hire Bill, Lou and Craig in a heartbeat. The office and its workers (Ms. Wanda and Mr. Jenkins) are a whole different animal. First after booking my move Mr. Jenkins (who called me the wrong name after being corrected numerous times) quoted me the wrong price AND sent the movers with the wrong size truck on my moving day and so my scheduled move had to be postponed 1 day. Which doesnt sound like a catastrophe to some, I was moving out of state and my new job had already been activated and I had been commuting. They also did not compensate for his stupidity. Ms. Wanda, very sweet on the phone/email, gives you the run-around day in and day out about when your insurance claim is actually going to go through. I now have my renters insurance involved and they too are getting the run-around from this crew. I do not recommend using them, unless you have rocks and firewood, something that wont break and you do not have to try and collect insurance. You would think that it would be a piece of cake, file a claim, receive a check but its as if I am taking money from their personal bank accounts. ITS INSURANCE PEOPLE!! YOU HAVE IT FOR A REASON!
