I took my sisters computer there in July, saying she was undergoing chemotherapy and would like to use it, could they fix it. It had a virus and a couple of keys broken on the keyboard. He said he could fix it, but tried to sell us a new computer, at first. We just wanted our Lenovo fixed, which he kept saying was a very good computer. Every couple weeks I would call and there would be an excuse. My sisters cancer is terminal, which I shared with him. He said he would "give us a break" and fix it for $200.00. I would call every couple of weeks, and always there was an excuse. Never once did he call me. Finally, in EARLY NOVEMBER he said he could not fix it, and would sell us a used computer for $225.00, and would deliver it. Well, I called this morning (nov.17th) and he said "Oh, I gave that to Kevin to do, I guess he did not do it". I told him if his nose grows every time he tells a fib, it must be down to the sidewalk. He hung up on me! My sister called back and he accused us of harassing him. I am 60 years old and my sister is very ill with cancer.....big threat huh! Also, neither of us use any kind of profanity or raised our voices. He hung up on her too. Finally, he is giving us our computer back NOT FIXED AFTER FOUR MONTHS. Beware if you do business with him.

Do not go here. Came here with a memory card that had very important photos that got erased to see if any could be salvaged. He told me he would try and I was very grateful 2 months went by and I called to check in on progress and I got the impression he never did anything with it. He asked if I could leave it a bit longer so he could try another software on it another 3 months goes by with 2 unreturned phone calls. I decided to just go pick it up when he gave me the card he gave some BS about how it was impossible he tried blah, blah, as I looked at the card I said it didnt look like the one I had dropped off. He told me he had no other cards and that was definately it. I took my card to a fantastic business in Dormont called Dream Catchers to see if they could salvage anything from it. It took them 30 minutes to pull the pics up only to realize it isnt my card like I had said. My husband then went, because I was so upset and he found my card, it was a miracle. I took that card back to Dream Catchers and he recovered all my photos in less than one hour and proceeded to tell me there was no way this guy even attempted to do it. Waste of my time. If you need a real IT company contact Dream Catchers they are great reliable business.

Uses old parts from computer that he steals from other people. Took a laptop from a friend that he said had a "virus" it did not. Uninstalled Webroot and added his own free Malware and virus protection. Let me tell you if it is free it does not work well. Proceeded to lie saying the roof leaked on the laptop and it was ruined. The truth is he sold the laptop to someone else, and gave her some crappy loaner in return, Probably someones computer he stole telling them that he could not fix it and sold them some other junk that he threw together. My Boss took his computers there with Business information he said he backed up the files on the new computer and he did not. I told him I wanted all the old computer parts before he even started the job he said that was fine. I got no parts back and he was not able to produce the hard drive when asked. Took 5 months and I finally gave up Larry is a criminal, How has he not been brought up on charges yet?

THIEVES! I took my old laptop computer there 6 months ago to either be fixed or for them to buy. I repeatedly called them and they always said they hadnt had a chance to look at it. First they said the owner was sick, so I was understanding. After a while, he was always "out" or "sick" or "just left a minute ago" and would call me back after 3, before 10, whatever. Never once did they call me. I have called at least once a month (more in the beginning) & even stopped by to pick my computer up. They say they cant find it, & as usual the owner isnt around so they cant do anything without him. I know this computer is old & it isnt worth much, but they still had no right to STEAL it & claim they cant find it. I would rate them zero or negative stars if I could!! (And who do they think they are kidding with the first review by "john" Obviously written by the owner) WORSE THAN AWFUL!!!

This place does not want to se rve the customer. I took in a netbook about a month ago to have a key fixed . The owner said it should just pop back on I can have it back to you tomorrow.... well 2 days later no call from them. When I called to check on it I was hung up on. I called back and was told I needed a new keyboard. When I asked why no one ever called me back the owner said he worked till 9 last night and didnt want to call late. Ok but it is 4 pm the next day. He goes on to say I can take it somewhere else since he has 60 other computers to work on but could order the part and fix it next week..... ok I picked up the computer told him to order thee part he said he would have within a week.. but a month later I am still waiting..... dont go here unless you want empty promises....

It took InSync Computers a week and a half to get in contact with me about my computer, and only after constant badgering on my part. Their diagnosis was that it couldnt be fixed, although they couldnt quite tell me why or what the extent of my issue was. After talking with the people there, it became increasingly obvious that it could be fixed, they just didnt have the skill or the desire to see the job done. I took it somewhere else and my computer was in working order the next day. Im inclined to give InSync one star but I believe in fairness and, to be fair, Derek was friendly and honest. Their rates are also lower than some of their competitors, although thats dependent on them actually doing the work.

Took our Lenovo laptop that they built 3 years prior because it needed a new disc driver. After ignoring me for 12 days they lied and said they were running diagnostics on it "as we spoke" and to call the next day. I did and was told that they couldnt even turn it on because they had broken the power jack off. They said I didnt have to pay for their futile efforts to fix it (wow, thanks!) and now we have a completely broken, wont even turn on laptop, instead of just one that needs a new disc driver. Awesome. DONT EVER LEAVE ANYTHING WITH THESE PEOPLE, if you want to keep it in one piece that is. They do a good job setting up New computers/selling them to you, but fixing them not so much.
