I feel that I need to offer an exceptional review for J&S, especially for the owner, John. I have been a regular customer at J&S since the day it opened several years ago and will remain a customer for as long as the shop is in operation. Aside from the creativity and expertise exhibited ever single time I had work done on any of the three autos in my family (including seemingly endless repairs on my teens car), it is ultimately the personal friendliness and positive attitude of John, that has made me a loyal customer. I only wish that more reviewers would find the time to talk to the owner and his crew on a more personal level. After all,isnt it really about people? J&S has earned my full support.

I have been going here for years now. I got tired of being ripped off by the chain mechanics shops and still having issues. I went to Monroe to get an inspection done a few years back and they told me that i would need almost $3,000 worth of work done to get it to pass. A friend of mine advised me to find a local private shop bear me. I went to J&S auto, was so happy with their service that Ive never even considered going back to any chain mechanic again. They are hard working, honest, and take the time to explain an issue if you need clarification.

I just got my Honda Civic back from its first ever visit to J & S Auto Repair. The repairs were done in a timely matter and the cost estimate was accurate to almost the very cent of what I was told a few days beforehand. My car was treated well and so was my wallet. I would definitely consider going back to J & S again. I also noticed many posts here concerning employee behavior. I cannot speak for other peoples experiences but the staff always seemed helpful and friendly whenever I spoke to them in person or over the phone.

Ive been going to J & S for a few years now and have always had a great experience. Both in auto service and customer service. I was shocked to see some of the reviews here. It seems like some of them arent even written by customers. for the record I take two cars there regularly. A 95 Subaru Legacy and a 94 Toyota Corolla. Ive never had a problem with any work done on either of these cars. In fact, when I do have car trouble they always work with me to figure out the most effective way to get my car serviced.

Two cars were serviced at this station and services paid for. Each service rendered needed to be corrected from another shop and the performance from J & S caused more damage than there was initially. This shop should not be in business. Beware our vehicles are transportation depended on and we work too hard for our money to be ripped off like this learn from another person mistakes.
