Allen Pritchett tried to perform a scam and his plan was foiled. He brought his vehicle in to have it inspected and stated he thought he need his brakes replaced. He stated, if so, here are the brakes and handed me a set for the front and a set for the rear. I really didnt have time at the moment to do a service like this as a customer waited. Service as such usually requires a vehicle to be dropped off for a short period of time but he had his own parts and his brake linings were not only low, but cracked and heat glazed. He also failed to say he failed for a light non functional. Half way through with installing HIS parts that he purchased BEFORE his inspection, (Obviously he must have known he needed them or why else purchase them in advance and hand them to a mechanic) he comes into the shop and asks, "Are you installing my brakes?" I said, "Of course, why would you give them to us?" He tried to make it look like it was a miscommunication. If I believed that, we would have installed his parts without charging him a dime. I dont believe thats the case, he is a liar and an idiot. We immediately stopped and put his old parts back on his vehicle. He also stated he has been coming there for years and liked the service. He comes back later saying he cant get his wheels off and shows us a broken 3/8" breaker bar 8" in length! lol Really?GET THE RIGHT TOOLS OR STOP PLAYING MECHANIC! My employee took literally 3 min to accommodate him by loosening his lug nuts while the vehicle was still outside. lol Ive been doing this work for 30 years and NEVER seen brakes last 200,000 miles. Some vehicles dont last 30,000 miles, depending on application and usage. Im looking forward to personally addressing your case. Grow up!

I went there to get an inspection on my 2014 mitsubishi car, and the owner tried to change my brakes without me knowing, and my pads and shoes have a lot of life left on them,, especially the shoes,, i have 50,000 miles on a 3 year old manual car,, my shoes would normally last 200,000 miles,,, and the pads was not bad when i did change them, also the mechanic put my wheels on my car using more than 300 foot pounds on his air gun, i know because i have a 300 foot pounds tourqe wrench,,, then the owner kept saying, we use 100 foot pounds,, and yet im a 215lbs grown man, and was breaking tools trying to take my wheels off,,, im reporting them to the bbb,, and going to file a case,, i have my pads, and video of when i did them yesterday ... So you guys tried to scam the wrong guy. See yall soon.

I love Upland Auto in Upland, PA! Ron knows whats wrong with my vehicle before he even looks at it, all I did was explain what it was doing he knew what it was right away. Other shops couldnt figure it out. I have taken my vehicles to him several times and ALWAYS leave satisfied. He is reasonable, excellent service and staff! You cant go wrong with Upland Auto Service. Btw, my husband will be calling you today about doing some work on his pickup. Thank you for being the best trustworthy mechanic in the area.

This is the most unprofessional auto mechanic I have experienced in my years of driving. They quoted me prices and when I checked with a local shop, they were extremely high. The office manager Stephanie was rude, and didnt seem to care for my business. The shop was RC Mobil just up the road. They will be getting my business from now on. Avoid Upland Auto at all costs! Save yourself the headache.

I had an electrical issue that I took to two other local shops and no one could figure it out. I took my car to Upland Auto Service today and problem fixed! Very reasonable! Ill take all my service to them for now on.
