If I could give negative stars, I would! Ive had problems with this post office for years! When my husband and I split, he completed a forward order for himself - soon all of our mail was being forwarded to his new address. I spent months calling and writing trying to get it straightened out and finally had to complete a forward order to have my mail returned to me from his new address which took forever! Several months after his forward order expired, my mail started being returned to sender as "forward order expired," this was another nightmare to get straightened out. I replaced a broken box on the front of my house with a brand new box only to have the mailman bend the lid and box both causing them not to close. I made calls to the office and wrote a letter - all it did was make the delivery person mad and cause him to retaliate. So, I replaced the box again and he bent it again by deliberately pulling on it. Its attached to the house and the neighbor who saw him do it wasnt sure if he was attempting to bend it or pull it off the house. Deliveries on nice days go in the box and the lid is closed; if the package is too large for the box it is placed between my front doors. HOWEVER, if the weather is wet (rain or snow), all packages are left on my steps, not even on the covered stoop, he makes sure they get wet. The box is also always left wide open when it rains or snows with the mail hanging out of it to make sure it gets as wet as possible. I make sure the sidewalks and steps are cleared and de-iced too so he cant say it was because he was afraid of slipping. When I track packages, they always show as "Delivered" long before they actually are delivered. This happens at both my home and office. Someone needs to educate the USPS in the difference between "Out for delivery" and "Delivered." I also constantly receive mail that doesnt belong to me, which makes me wonder where my mail is going. Sometimes I get mail for addresses across town, not on the same street across town - I could understand if East and West Penn were mixed up - but Ziegler Avenue and East Penn Street!? How do you mix up those two!? Especially if the house number and recipient name are completely different! There also is only sporadic delivery and pickup on my block on Friday and none on Saturday. Ive been very nice with my requests to have problems corrected. I still have the same delivery person so apparently "complaints" do nothing.

This post office is horrible for delivery every package is never delivered or held hostage if you complain dont expect to receive any of or packages . ALSO your sure post shipped or smart post packages . I have lived in a couple of cities never had problems. This post office must have major problems from the TOP to the bottom.they are very vindictive its like dealing with a teenagers if you know what i mean the more you try to get them to do whats right the more they do wrong they dont know whrere the line is untill its to late . Either they lose their JOB or end up in JAIL . With criminal charges against them . Because i beli eve they have crossed that line you have to look at the TOP of the company for these things to be going on either way if they dont know THEY SHOULD HAVE . but in my case i know the post master knows because i told her.ITs rotten from the TOP down . the indians are running the show at the butler post office the chief is missing. ITS TIME FOR A NEW ONE AS OLD CHIEF IS NO LONGER EFFECTIVE PEROID!!!!!! COMMUNITY LETS PULL TOGETHER TO MAKE BUTLER A BETTER PLACE AND DEMAND THE BEST FROM OUR GOVERMENT

Terrible Service. First of all, I live in an apt. complex where my mailbox is just big enough for my mail and the mailman will stuff it full of flyers and crush all my mail. They dont even care, they say that they have to deliver these flyers when before they would put them in a pile on the floor and if you wanted one just to take it and that left plenty of room for my mail. Second I have pets that eat live insects and worms and the mailman is so lazy he cant knock on my door which is 3 feet from the mailbox and deliver my package that he leaves it at the office of my apt. complex where they are subject to die if I didnt catch it. What if it was a weekend? They would have to sit there all weekend and surely die and Id be out my money and my pets would go hungry. I order alot of packages which pay their wages and i get no respect from them. Very poor Representatives for the American Post Office and Im sick of it. :(

I came for passport services. I sat and waited for the person in front of me to be processed. As soon as she was finished I was told it will be a little while as the worker went to her post. I asked how long and she said "I dont know." So how many people were you going to let come in and be served while I sit here? Because the previous person was helped right after the person being served for passport services was finished. So as I sat there, 25 people were served, as they kept coming in, over the course of 45 minutes. Mind there was another worker serving customers, and a third worker standing there (who was called for back up) who stood there and did nothing but look around. Thanks for the not so helpful help.

Possibly the worst post office in the state. My street has a mail lady so lazy that i only get mail 2 times a week as she doesnt want to walk up steps. Complaints to the office managers must go right in the garbage as she still works my street even after complaints from myself and ny neighbors. Ive had to pick up more packages at the office than they actually deliver due to it. Some items they mark as refused to accept so they dont even have to make the fake delivery attempt. So as a final conclusion, if you want to be massively overpaid and have a job where you do not have to actually work and are unfireable for some reason, the usps is top notch. If you want mail and packages, try some other method.

Try to do a change of address about a month ago... I did it right there in the building handed my girl friend and my change of address form straight to the employee ..I called cuz I noticed my mail still wasnt being forwarded ..they said there was no record of us changing our address ...but today I received a change of address confirmation for myself and not my gf ..I called and told them again the situation and they have no idea ...and requested I do it again...Like really ppl ..I handed right to you !! In your hands ...obviously this post office need to hire some better help.. I see the review on here is low..its about to get lower..

I am sick of my packages being marked delivered and not being there. I contact them and they say they have proof but its utter crap when I go out right after I hear the mail person on my porch when Im expecting a package and it is marked delivered at the time I hear it. Yet when I go out there is no package. Ive complained multiple times and all they have to say is oh it must have been stolen. Well the mail person must be the culprit then on my street this time because I went on my porch right after they supposedly delivered my package. Someone needs to fix this.
