My Wife and I just completed the purchase of our new home with Shawn Tammaro and his team at Entourage Realty and are very satisfied with the entire experience. I don’t write reviews typically, but thought I would be helping others with their home purchases by sharing information about our experiences with Shawn and Entourage. Our transaction like all real estate transactions had its challenges and that is where Shawn’s professionalism and experience shined through. Previous to working with Entourage we had been working with another firm that left us wanting more. I also had prior lack luster experiences working with realtors in an out-of-state market. These experiences had led to a negative attitude toward realtors in general prior to meeting Shawn. My thought was that the typical realtor’s main motivation was to get a deal closed as soon as possible, rather than fighting for their client’s best interest in the transaction. I found previous relators representing me in ways that left me wanting a true advocated for my side of the transaction. Shawn Tammaro is the opposite of my negative stereotype, he is a credit to his profession. Its easy to see when you are working with someone who loves what they do and still has a passion for customer service. During the initial process to find our home, what stood out the most was that Shawn answered our questions definitively and in a timely manor. Once we found a home he negotiated the price and terms to our benefit on every point. I’m not saying we got everything we asked for but never did I feel he was trying to compromise what we wanted to do because the seller or other realtor might not like it. The other thing that stands out is that Entourage is run right. You are never left guessing what you need to do, what happens next, did we forget something etc. Their communication throughout the process was excellent. Anna also stands out in the office as a happy person who is very dedicated to the customer experience at Entourage. If you are looking to work with true professionals that are going to represent your interest on your real estate transaction I recommend Shawn Tammaro and Entourage Realty.

This owfit managed a duplex apartment for my 93 year old father. After a few months on the job, we learned that the roof needed to be replaced. Entourage recommended that we hire a construction company that they often used. My Dad who has no access to the internet accepted their advice. One year later the entire roof blew off in a rainstorm. This caused over $50,000 damage to the building, causing both tenants to have to be evacuated and the entire second floor to be replaced- ceilings, walls and floors- in addition to a new roof. We later learned that the person Entourage recommended did not have a legitimate company, had no roofing license and was a convicted FELON for the past 10 years. Yes, you read that correctly. Entourage admitted that they knew he had robbed the TD bank and had just been released from prison the year before – but they failed to mention his criminal past or total lack of qualifications to us. In the end, my Dad who had done nothing but pay his bills including for this bogus roof, was out many thousands of dollars not paid by insurance. And Entourage never offered my Dad a penny in reparation for the whole mess they caused. Instead, they tried to trade some free services in exchange for my Dad giving up all of his legal rights as well as agreeing to pay for THEIR legal expenses should they be sued over this matter. Had we fallen for this ploy we would have jeopardized our entire insurance claim. BEWARE! BEWARE! These folks are at worst dangerous and at best bumbling idiots. It seems all they fear are lawsuits- if I were them, I’d be worried too!

Megan Larkin was our realtor to buy our first house and I can NOT say enough about how professional and friendly she was. My husband and I did not understand too much about the real estate business when we started the process. Megan was able to explain things patiently and thoroughly until we understood everything well. Megan kept us on top of the process while we were both working full time. She was able to do so in a gentle but effective manner, keeping us up to date and in the game. Megan kept us on top of everything and was always patient with questions that we had along the way. Megan had a very good understanding of what we were looking for in a house, and sent us options on a very regular basis that matched up with our "must haves". Meghan communicated quickly and was firm with the sellers of the home we were purchasing. The process was very quick and we found a home within a very short time frame. Megan made sure that we had all of our documents in order and were prepared for settlement. Megan really had our best interest in mind throughout the entire process. She is very knowledgeable and was endlessly giving with her time to help us. Megan is enthusiastic and positive. We HIGHLY recommend Megan with all of your real estate needs.

In all the years that Ive known Amy Kuhns, her dedication to the things she loves never ceases to amaze me. Whether it be helping a friend in need or finding the dream home for her clients, her enthusiasm is second to none. Its hard to to sum up Amy in a few short sentences but some of the words that stick out are enthusiastic, energetic, encouraging, and most importantly she truly cares about the people she works with. A real strength of Bobby is the way he uses technology as an aid in the purchasing process. The communication with Bobby and Shawn was also fantastic, always available either through email and text or a phone call. We had several questions about the process as first time buyers and we always received a good response that made us feel comfortable and educated on any issues that came up.
