Came here in the past and had them do some work on my car. They had suggested that I change both lower front control arms. I let them do all the work except these; I paid my brother to change them. Went back here 6 months later for an inspection. My car failed for several reasons, one including my "failing" control arms, they quoted me $800. I asked how that could be, I just changed them. The guy proceeded to stutter and check his computer, seeing that I had declined the work last time I was in. He assumed I never changed them and was trying to charge me for work that didnt need to be done. This place makes money by telling you that your parts are failing when theyre not. They definitely do it more to girls/moms. Watch out these guys are scammers. Went to A&G Auto in Coatesville. Grant checked out my car and reinspected it. He did some work and called me to say that he overquoted me and that I was going to pay less than he previously said. Firestone is bad news, try somewhere else.

I took my car here and they where going to charge me a couple hundred dollars just to look at my car. I called my dealer and they told me that this place is OVER Charging and that I should bring my car there b/c it should cost no more than $80. So I go back in to tell the "sales" person what my dealer said and he responded with "Well actually thats what I was thinking we would charge you". I then responded with well Ill be more comfortable taking my car to the actual dealer since my issue could be extensive. He then agreed it might be the best choice. Its up setting to see people try to take advantage of people and then when they are caught they try to cover up their tracks. This is just my experience!

Ive dealt with Firestone in Florida, North Carolina and now back in Pennsylvania. I always felt like I was treated well and charged fairly. Until I met these guys at Firestone in Downingtown - "Stuff" happened the first time (and last) I went there and now, I asked them to live up to their Warranty - It s still in effect. (New Water Pump less than 6 months old @ around $450.00) It disintegrated on a Major Highway at night,I had it towed back to them and they are refusing to honor the warranty. These Guys are like a bad "B" Movie, Folks, these guys (This one franchise dealer) are BAD NEWS. My recommendation, Find somebody else. Blessings all! John Pilkington

had my tires replaced here as well as a number of oil changes and inspection. they have done a good job and they rotate my tires for free for the life of them, so i have them do that when i get the oil changed. they tend to recommend that belts and things get changed when i go in. from what ive heard they work on commission or something like that. i use this place for the basic stuff listed above. when real issues come up i typically go to a local shop that people have told me i can trust, but for the basics they seem to do a good job.

Visiting from out of state, the front end shimmied all the way to PA. Dropped it off on Friday night, asked for alignment/rotate/balance, they turned it around by 10am Saturday, did exactly what I asked for and it cost me under $100. Same service has cost me up to $200 elsewhere. Car rode like a champ all the way home.

They are usually fairly quick about getting you in and out for an oil change. Im usually there for about 40 minutes. Their prices are very competitive as well. I have had some customer service issues in the past with them, but for the most part theyre friendly and courteous.

Used a $20.00 coupon for an oil change in Thorndale, Pa. .. My final bill was over $31.00, a whopping 50% OVER the coupon offer. When I questioned it I was told about "service fees" ETC.
