Well i must say that i am impressed... Those of you that know me, know it takes a lot to do that.. I have been doing business with Chris for sometime now and finally the shoe was on the other foot... Meaning i was in need of his services this time.. I had never in my life taken my car to an auto shop as i have friends that normally do this kind of stuff for me. So to say the least i was nervous friend or no friend.. Just a new thing for me... Well i can say i went in there like everyone else with the story that is was clunking in the back and that was clicking in the front.. They wasted no time explaining potential problems and getting me in there. They explained what was going to happen as well as the potential things that could go wrong upfront so there is no surprises.. I like this because being in the service industry things do go wrong and most of the time there is no way to foresee this.. Anyway back to the point .. I got a phone call every time a decision had to be made on my car,, again no surprises and was presented with options as what i wanted to do... Then after all was said and done.. i got a complete list of suggestions and warnings.. Meaning as they worked on my car if they noticed something that was unsafe or potentially a problem they wrote it down.. They didnt over look it which means they care.. Lastly after explaining the things that needed to be addressed it didnt feel like they were trying to sell me a line of CRAP just to do more work.. It was sincere and never once did they try to force anything on me... Needless to say my car was done in timely manner. exceeded my expectations, and informed me of potential problems.. HOW CAN YOU GO WRONG..

Usually not one to write reviews but I dont want anyone else to have the experience I had. Twice. In 2013 I took my car there to have them install some aftermarket gauges. Boost and air/fuel. So after they told me it would take an hour I decided to wait there while the work was being done instead of getting picked up by someone. Well after 3 hours and several hundred dollars later I left very unsatisfied. For my second bad experience 2 years later with a new car I decided to try them again because the work they did the first time wasnt that bad, it just took 3 times longer than it was supposed to. This time I had them install 3 gauges and fix a leaking pinion seal. After being quoted $300 and told it would be done within a day. 5 days later and over $600 they gave me back my car with another leaking pinion seal and an oil leak where they made an adapter for an oil pressure gauge. So a few days later I had to drive my car all the way back and take a day off work just for them to fix the oil leak and not the pinion seal. All they did was clean around the differential with brake cleaner so it looked like there wasnt a leak. I was so frustrated I just dealt with it because I didnt want them touching my car ever again. Eventually fixed it myself. Also when i got the car back the interior had grease and oil on my door panels. Would give them 0 stars if I could. After telling my friends where I took my car to have work done they just laughed and said never go there. Should have asked them beforehand

Mid-August I had to move from Houston, Texas to Concord, New Hampshire by car. Everything I owned was in my 2006 Toyota Camry, which consequently broke down after 1500miles in Pennsylvania. My car was towed to CIP since it was the closest location, and they did a fantastic job. I was devastated to hear that I blew a head gasket and it was going to be a lengthy and expensive repair - especially since I knew no one Pennsylvania and my entire life was packed into that car, and I had to be in school by next week. Chris was incredibly sympathetic to my situation, he contacted me and updated me through every step of the way and was incredibly patient and caring. He understood my situation and even stayed late to finish up the repairs on my car. He was completely honest about the situation and told me of any possible and upcoming problems that I could have with the repairs he has planned - and how long it may take. After he finished working on my car he even called a few times to check to see if it was running and if I reached my destination. Definitely would recommend.

I went here multiple times back 2 years ago for my vehicle to be worked on. To make it short and simple. My vehicle had multiple things done to it. I took the car to a very educated man I know and we both agreed the exhaust was overpriced and very low quality. Also was a leak in the exhaust from a crappy weld job. Replaced the pan on the transmission 3 times and it still was leaking. Jammed the transmission dipstick. Also was treated very unpleasantly everytime I tried to have work done on the vehicle and as if I was not worth there time. 99% of the reviews on here must be rigged because I constantly saw unhappy people leave. Plus since I was very nieve at the time I probaly lost a food 2 thousand in bull diagnostic fees and was charged for a service I never even wanted which was a scammy run rite service. Which they never seem to even do since I ripped apart the intake and it was filthy. There are better places trust me.

We are very pleased with this shop. I wish I could give them 10 stars this is a top notch 1 stop shop. Im from the brodheadsville area and dealing with those awful shops when you find a place that is true and honest you will stay with them. I worked with Chris and Jeff and they both were very professional and kind and boy did I have a lot of questions that they didnt mind answering for me Jeff even took me on a tour of the shop (amazing) I will never visit another Midas or any other shop that claims they can handle German vehicles as long as this shop is in business. Thanks to the wonderful mechanics that that help make this shop the #1 of the Poconos. I could go on and on Sorry for the long review but when you are a satisfied customer you want to let the world know and thats what Im doing spreading the word C.I.P. Is the best!!!!

I was down from NJ to have a nice time at the poconos with my family, and we did, until my vehicle fuel pump decides to fail, mind you Im 2 and half hours away from my home, so I started googling auto shop near me, and CIP came up. I gave them a call to see the availability on a fuel pump replacement. I spoke to Julie, she sounded very professional to begin with. She told me that it was kind of short notice, that the shop was full for the day, I told her my situation and she took under consideration that I was pretty far away from home, so she pulled her strings with the good soul she has and got my car right in. She called the tow truck for me, and ordered the pump and got me out the shop in about 2 and half hours. Pricing was reasonable begin a fuel pump replacement. Their awesome, I recommend.
