I was recently on the market for a new hair stylist and really wanted a upscale, luxury, high-end, professional experience. After much review, I chose Jmorgan salon. They seemed to have the big time NYC glamour, training, standards, and experience I was looking for. When I walked in everyone was super friendly, great customer service. The girl that cut my hair was new and I could tell was new to the technique they use there. She did a good job with my cut and color; however the next day when styling my hair I wasnt completely satisfied. I paid high-end prices for a not so high-end cut. I have a face frame cut in the front and somehow that went untouched and I told her that I like my ends rounded but it was cut more straight across. But, nothing that cant be easily changed. I called the salon and stressed to them that she did a good job, she was friendly, and really put a lot of time into my hair; however I just wasnt completely satisfied with it. I was told to come in that evening and they would take care of it. Well, I get there, with my hair tied up in a bun, I walk by the owner who says hello and doesnt direct me to anyone. I wonder to the back and Im greeted by the girl who is going to take a look at my hair. She is also new, this time around I was really hoping for an experienced hair stylist. I explain what I dont like about the cut. She goes on to tell me that her shift is over, but she was asked to stay. Im looking at all the full chairs and realizing this poor girl wants to go home. After sitting there for over 20mins, she goes on to tell me that she isnt trained in the way "they cut hair" and will give me a "dry cut" as soon as a chair opens up. Time continues to pass and I had a lot of time to think this over and decided to leave without the cut. I wasnt going to get the "cut of a lifetime here" as hoped, my whole "upscale" experience was lost, and I wasnt about to take my chances that things would get worse. Most disappointing was that the whole time the owner is here with a few of his master stylist and never once did he come up to me, ask me what went wrong, what they could do to make it right, or even attempt to make me feel like he cared to keep my business. Bottom line; I wasnt impressed and will not go back.

For the record, J. Morgan Salon changed my life. Ok… a little dramatic but true. I was visiting my best friend in Easton who told me my post baby making look needed a little TLC. I promised I’d take care of it when I went home to Florida. She insisted I meet her guy for a consult. I agreed. It was my first girl’s weekend after 4 years of baby making and chronic sleepless nights. I was up for anything that didn’t involve bottles and diapers and it was just a consult. The following evening I meet with Jayson, the owner. He was kind enough to agree to stay late to meet but unfortunately I was walking in with a negative attitude because I liked my easy ponytail look. But that all changed after only about 5 minutes in his chair. His chair-side manner had me at ease in no time. He listened to my fears, needs, and dreams. He brushed and tossed my hair around to get a feel of the situation… situation being -I have extremely thick, unruly curls, and dull brown/black greying hair. It was apparent on Jayson’s face when he had a plan and his excitement made me sign up. We discussed my timeframe issue since I was only visiting and Jayson’s staff made it work. He was able to get me into Susan’s schedule for a cut and he would work me into his schedule for color the following day. The experience was very enjoyable and rewarding. It’s now been a month since I was in Easton and I am so happy with my hair and the reaction from all of my friends and strangers. I had forgotten what it felt like to look visually put together. I had fallen into a routine and feared change would mess with it. I was wrong. My hair is easier to care for and it looks amazing. Oh, I have to mention my marriage has a new spark to it too. Husband loves the cared for look… go figure:). Going back to Easton next month for a two-pher, visit friend and J. Morgan Salon!

I cant say enough great things about this place, the owners and staff. I am new to Easton and picked this Salon via recommendations. I kept asking people whose hair I loved where they went and continuously the name JMorgan kept coming up. I was sold. Nancy is who colored my hair. Before we even started she did a thorough consultation. Not just a 5 min thing. She asked about my lifestyle, hair history, how I care for it, etc. And even was able to say whether I would look better with warmer versus cool tones. She was incredibly easy and comfortable to be around. In addition, I could sense that Nancy was a true artist. I love people who are passionate about their work, so this made me even more excited to see the end result, which was AWESOME. I am loving my hair and really feel like she was able to work on color correcting. Thank you so much Nancy for making me feel beautiful again! In addition, I really like how relaxed and down to earth this salon is.. If you want a five star salon, without the attitude, GO HERE! I really love Melissa at JMorgan as well. It seems like it would be hard to go wrong with anyone there.

Hands down the best Salon in the Valley. The owners Jamie and Jason are some of the nicest people you can come by and will bend over backwards to make their feel clients happy and at home. All of the stylists are top notch so you can’t really go wrong but my personal favorite is Jessica who has been cutting my hair for about two years now (Previously at a different salon in the area). I only go in to see her for men’s cuts but have sent in several friends for other more elaborate services (Color/ Keratin/Extensions/etc..). All of which have thanked me for recommendation after going in. In fact one of my friends could be quoted as saying “Jessica is a master with color, after several years of Salon hopping I have finally found someone that got my hair exactly how I wanted it.” Can’t say enough good things about this place!!

J. Morgan Salon sets the bar in quality. For the past year I have been having my hair cut at this establishment and have never been disappointed. J. Morgan Salon offers a blend of professionalism and comfortable atmosphere that is unique to a high end salon. Smiles and warm welcomes are always abundant when you walk through the door, and the highest level of service is obviously their goal. On my recommendation many of my friends, both male and female, have gone and had their hair cut at this salon and all have been pleased by the results. The highest praise, by all who have gone, is that each of the stylists provides a professional level haircut. I cant speak more highly of this salon and can ensure they will continue to receive my business.
