After over 5 years as a loyal customer with a maintenance and service contract on both my residence and my rental property, I was informed when I renewed that because my contract had already expired in January of this year, that they would charge me to come out and get the air out of my hot water baseboard system, a simple procedure requiring no parts and my annual maintenance would be scheduled several weeks out. There would also be an additional charge for labor, which has always been included with the contract. My contract has been active and never lapsed over the past 5 years (until now) and this is how they handled this? I ended up doing it myself and requested a refund for my contract renewal which I had already paid for ($549). I will find another company that is fair and values customer loyalty. Please note: The manager, Dan Rich, did not reply to my voicemail and Mary and Ellie were condescending on the phone. George Davis responded with many Facebook posts in response to my comments and only offered to get the air out of my system after I had already done so along with a small discount on purchasing another contract. Very unprofessional.

Destroyed a brand new unit. Guy came out to replace a bad heating element that blew out on a 4 month old hot water heater. Instead of folding back the insulation inside the covers, he ripped it all out, then he pulled the upper element without draining the water level, flooding the entire inside of the unit. Water was all over my basement floor and hours later Im cleaning up water again because its still coming out. Hot water became SCALDING because the thermostats are now thrown off due to the insulation being soaked. I called them back to send someone to deal with it and all they have is the same tech. Now Im waiting for a manager call back. You flood an electric unit like this it voids the warranty; I just paid these people $250 to replace a damn element and now theyre going to have to completely replace my unit. I could have youtubed this and done a better job on my first attempt.

From sales to service I have been more then impressed with Service Mark twice. Irv Bailin helped me 3 years ago replace my HVAC and now in my new house we used them again to replace 2 systems that were 20 years old. Irv is always professional and helpful. There was a quick turnaround time as They got me up and running before it got really cold outside. Not only was I impressed with Irvs professionalism but also the service team. Mike Barrett was very good and thorough. I felt very comfortable having Mike in my home and very confident in his work, I would Highly recommend Service Mark to others especially Irv and Mike.

Have been using this company for 17 yrs. No Problems. The phone operators are very helpful and get you to the right place promptly and get your service scheduled when needed. Their service contract is very good also as you dont have to remember to have seasonal checkups done. I am very old and remember what old services (in general) used to be like - you call, they come right away, chat with you about what is wrong and what needs to be fixed so that you understand and at the best cost, and then they fix it. Thats what you get from ServiceMark.

The compressor in our AC unit burned out in the middle of summer. I called Service Mark and they came out the same day. They were very detailed in explaining the severity of the burn out and told me they would install filters and replace the refrigerant twice to ensure the new compressor didnt get damaged. I got estimates from other companies and none of them included this follow up. The Service Mark technicians are exteremly reliable and punctual. I highly recommend them and will use them again in the future!!

I have a background in the trade so I know when a tech or company is trying to snow me, con me, or is not providing exemplary service. I can tell you that after having a service contract with them for about 10 years not, they have not one single time let me down when we needed service. The value proposition and the peace of mind knowing that our heating and cooling will be taken care of when we have a problem is the best Ive found since Philadelphia Electric Co. stopped offering such protection 20 years ago.

I had a complicated challenge to install the propane line to my stove. Joe Pisano evaluated the situation, acquired the necessary parts, and redirected the gas lines to accommodate my new stove. He also converted the stove from natural gas to propane and checked all of my existing lines for leaks. He did identify a leak and fixed that, also. The stove is performing wonderfully and I want to praise his quick and complete installation. Thanks, Joe.

They offered to reschedule for another day but I will find a local plumber instead. I wasted a better part of my day waiting for them and will not do it again..

I had a leak coming out of the wall from the hose pipe. I called ServiceMark and they came out right away. Their plumber was extremely professional. He fixed the pipe for us quickly and cleaned up the work area very well. I definitely recommend using ServiceMark and I will use them again in the future.

Over the winter we had the drain line on our kitchen sink freeze and become blocked. The Service Mark tech was out and helping us before we knew it. Though it took a bit of persistence, he was able to clear the line and get out kitchen sink back to normal! Great work! Perfect timing on service!
