Dear Roto-Rooter, This is my first review for Roto-Rooter on the first service call. I experienced some difficulty with my system and contacted your company. I believe this was June 1, 2016. The gentleman who responded to my call on the phone was so kind and courteous that I felt very comfortable with your company. He sent two men out the next day on June 2, 2016. The service technicians were prompt in the morning. The first technician was Justin and I cannot remember the other‘s name. They gave an explanation of what they would do and the cost. I agreed for them to take care of the issue. They proceeded with the problem. After seeing what the difficultly was they realized that it would be more involved and they could not complete this job. They gave me choices and an estimate of which program to have completed. The problem could not be rectified until the following week due to the local municipality requirements. However, while they were here another issue arose and they fixed the problem and I was a happy customer. Both were very respectful and pleasant and had good customer service skills. The employees were efficient and professional at all times.

Great experience! Called many plumbing companies comparing timing and cost. Roto Rooter was the most responsive, and with no fee to visit my house and provide a cost estimate. For 20 years we didnt have a sewer back-up, and now weve had two in the past year. I didnt just want my line cleared, I wanted an assessment and consulting on what the cause might be. Mike were on-time, and courteous. He cleared the line right away, and then spent a good while using a camera to check out the sewer pipe in the house and out to the street. He eliminated many of my worries, and identified two possible issues. No hard sales tactics for extra costs. I would definitely call them back, and I will definitely refer Roto Rooter / Mike White to my friends.

I made a phone call for a rush service for repairing a broken pipe in our bathroom around 9:30 am on Sunday. Before this call, I had made a call to another company, but had not got through. Therefore, I did not expect a quick repair. I was wrong! This company called me back within about 30 minutes and confirmed me the technician was on the way to my house. I was so impressed. The two technicians worked very hard to fix the broken (brittle) cpvc pipe behind the wall of the bathroom faucet and installed two new faucets. The working space was so small. They tried several times and finally repaired the pipe. Thus, we got water back on the same day! I really like their working attitude and job quality standards.

The wait was a little long, but the operator was great. She kept calling to keep us updated and let us know that we were still on the list and they would be there as soon as they could. The technician, Steve, was great. He really tried to get a good idea for what the problem was by asking many questions before he even got started. Thankfully, based on this, he was able to fix the problem with an easier solution than what we first thought would be necessary. The problem was supposedly "fixed" by another plumber I had previously used. Needless to say, I will be calling Roto Rooter again instead of the other guys I had previously used!

The fact that I needed a plumber and I could get someone to my house in an hour is fantastic. The fact that the customer service rep. on the phone wouldnt tell me what my repair would cost wasnt as fantastic. And the fact that I had to pay $245 for about 20 minutes of work is DEFINITELY NOT fantastic. On top of that, the technician refused to let me use a $40 off any service coupon SENT TO ME BY ROTO-ROOTER! He said "They dont know what we do...all they do is stare at a computer. You cant use that." Nevertheless, Ive got this coupon, so ... ???

Our drains had been snaked by another plumbing group the week prior to Roto Rooter arriving, but the sewage lines had backed up quickly. The Roto Rooter person came with far better equipment and approached the problem in a different way pulling out many things that clearly the prior group had missed. The Roto Rooter man (out of Wilmington, Delaware office) was very patient and listened to our history before jumping into the problem. I would strongly recommend roto rooter or at least based on this particular persons performance.

Roto-Rooter was absolutely fantastic. We recently moved into our house and quickly discovered a fairly major plumbing issue. We discovered this on a Saturday evening and within 25 minutes Mike from Roto Rooter was at the house and he explained everything he was seeing and was really empathetic regarding the situation. We had Mike and Sam out the following week and they were here for over 10 hours fixing our issue. They were professional and courteous and we could not have asked for any better service!!! Used to work here very dishonest company with customers and employees. Practices a lot of price gouging and replacing parts that do not need to be replaced. Not a local company it is a corporation all the review responses on here are not by the owner it is by a customer service rep. When you call the phone number it will redirect you to the call centers in Baltimore or Chicago. They do not give prices over the phone because it is super expensive. I used to work here and I would never do business with this company.

Once the technician arrived, he (Mike White #0951) was able to quickly and accurately diagnose the problem. As soon as the problem was established, Mike did not hesitate to begin working on the issue at hand. Mike was extremely knowledgable, professional, and friendly. Mike took the time to explain to me exactly what he was doing and answered any and all questions that I had. If I were ever to have another plumbing issue, I would not hesitate to use Roto-Rooter and I would specifically ask for Mike.

I called on a Saturday and they offered to have someone at my door immediately. The technician, Steve, was very professional and amicable. The price was a little high for the work that was needed to be done, but the service was excellent and prompt. Steve even informed me of an online coupon that I was not aware of and answered other plumbing questions that were unrelated to the initial problem. To sum up, I would use them again and recommend them for urgent problems.

Its a shame that you have people that dont no how to run your cameras. Showed up my house on time snakes sewer line said their was a problem. Had master plumber come out told me the line was broke. He wanted 8500.00 dollars to repair. said the line was six feet down had to be hand dug.I called my plumber and we dug down to the line funny their was no breaks at all. Oh the line was only 2 feet deep. Great scam you have going I wonder how many people fall for this

Discovered flooding in the basement and found that waste water is backing up from my wash sink. Clogged Sewer main... Called RotoRooter at 9:30pm and had two professional technicians, Michael and an apprentice come by and put my concerns at ease at 10pm. They worked hard to clear the obstruction and educated me all along the way. Was it pricey? Sure. But the response time and 6 month warranty made it less painful. Would absolutely recommend this service.
