When I first joined, I loved this place and the people. Trainers were knowledgable and went out of their way to help. However, the company itself is not great. I needed to cancel my membership due to time constraints. I wasnt using it so why pay $80 a month. I called at the beginning of October only to leave a message saying I needed to cancel, asking how to do that, and to please not charge me further. I didnt receive a call back until mid-October to be told that I would be charged unless I came into the venue. No online cancellation, no over phone, only in person. I explained politely to the staff in Exton and the company when they called my phone that I was extremely busy and was unable to make it in during business hours. They refused to put my account on hold starting their policy states that I must come in person. In addition, they charged me a late fee and another month because I couldnt make it in until October 31st. I paid one month when I went into cancel only to be told that I was being charged another month because I didnt come in in time before being charged for the next month and I wasnt allowed to cancel if I had a balance. I was forced to pay two months and a late fee for a gym I didnt step in since August. You would think they would be a little more accommodating for their customers. I am a teacher and dont have the money to blow and kindly called. I would have canceled over the phone or online back at the beginning of October if it would have allowed. UFC is nice but I recommend a gym that is more accommodating to its customers needs and who are flexible.

"Motivating, fun and phenomenal customer service"..I said that three years ago and it still rings true today. I started at UFC in January 2014 and it was the best decision I have ever made. I was in a rut personally and needed some extra motivation and push to get back to my competitive self. It was the perfect place. I love that I can go to a class and get a great workout while also learning technique. Every trainer that I have taken class with (bag classes, advanced technique and DUT) has been personable, welcoming and provided great instruction before and during class. I can not speak to the mat classes since I have not personally done them, however I do notice the professionalism and great instruction and it seems awesome! The kids classes also look like they are having a great time while learning. I had those fears of it being a fight gym initially but it truly is for everyone. I felt comfortable with the trainers and staff so much so that I continued working out at UFC Exton (with clearance from my doctor) when I was pregnant and did so until my son was born last year. UFC offers great opportunities for you to try a FREE class or two before committing and I highly recommend you do!

Dishonest management and billing. Its a shame, because I enjoyed the classes there. But flat out lying and over-billing earns UFC in Exton one star. Heres my experience: I joined initially at the $79 rate, and paid for TWO MONTHS up front, plus the enrollment fee. So total around $200. I was told at the time that since I paid for two months up front I wouldnt be billed an extra month when I cancelled. Well, I canceled about 6 months later and was billed for an additional month at the end a few weeks after I cancelled. When I called them, they told me that it didnt matter what I paid up front and the contract clearly said I had to pay the extra month. So I got scammed out of a month membership fee. But thats not the end of it. I looked back through the billing, and realized that I had actually been scammed several times, including being double billed for a month when I converted from the $79 to $99 month plan. They refused to refund any of these charges. I currently am disputing the charges with American Express. Its a shame that terrible management is ruining a good thing.

Clean Space. Enough Lifting equipment to get by. The basic membership gets you all the cardio classes but it doubles in Price to get the actual Mat Training classes. The price is about normal for MMA. The cardio classes are excellent and many different instructors so if one focuses on something you dont prefer you can always switch to another. Highly supportive environment that will definitely shred some fat on you in less than an hour. I had a slight Hiccup in my cancelation with the branch, which was a bother to me but as soon as the owner realized something was going on he reached out to me personally and made sure to correct the situation and then some. So the customer service is simply amazing, I would never expect the owner to take time out of his day for someone who is no longer a member. But a genuinely nice guy who wants to do the right thing regardless of if its beneficial to him.

Worst gym I been to by far. They over price their classes. The boxing coach only knows basic stuff. I cancelled my membership and they charged me for the next month plus they wanted to charge me for cancelation fee 100$. During a storm my car was hit by one of THEIR trees and smashed the whole back window and dented my whole car. They refused to pay for it! I also got put on collections because I refused to pay for another month that I didnt train. Seriously the worst experience I have ever had!! & they have one of their front desk workers writting reviews for them! Pathetic.

A really welcoming and comfortable environment. In fact, the minority of members are "fighters". Most are normal people like you and I just trying to get a good workout and get in shape. The classes will kick your butt, 1 workout here is equal to 2 or 3 workouts at a typical gym. Due to this, you will see results much faster than at a normal gym. They also do a nice job of keeping the place clean. Constantly sanitizing the equipment and locker rooms.

Great environment and even better staff. My original goal was to go once or twice a week but now I am going about 3 times a week and taking double classes, its that much fun.
