Jiffy Lube Corporate needs to check the quality of service at their franchises as the Jonestown Road Jiffy Lube in Harrisburg is terrible compared to every other Jiffy Lube Ive ever used. Yes, theyre quick, but theyre also inept. I gave them two opportunities: First time they were out of synthetic oil and said I would have to come back another time; second time they did not replace my air filter correctly, the car was idling very roughly and the indicator on my dashboard was lit up when I got into the car after they were finished, the two technicians acted extremely put-out when I told them there was a problem (after correctly inserting the filter the car, the problem was solved, though they tried to charge me for reading the check engine code that resulted from their mistake). Contrast this with my most recent Jiffy Lube experience (not in Central PA) when they didnt have enough synthetic, but offered a synthetic blend OR asked if I would like to wait an extra 15 minutes while one of the techs went to purchase more; replaced one of my reverse lights for free because they didnt have the oil I wanted immediately on hand; vacuumed my car and washed all the windows inside and out; read the code on the check engine light and fixed the air hose for free. CENTRAL PENNSYLVANIANS take note! That is what good customer service looks like, thats what happens at Jiffy Lube outside of Central Pa.

I went there to get my car inspected (a returning customer) and new windshield wipers were needed to pass inspection. I told the guy, when he advised me the technician said they needed to be replaced, that I just recently had them replaced.....by them. He said "well, thats what he said". I agreed, to have inspection passed, went home and look thru my cars paperwork. They were just replaced in July, when Jiffy Lube did my oil change. I went back, asked to speak to the manager outside, as I did not want to complain in front of other customers. The young man had all the "Training Answers" he was suppose to give, and when I told him I dont drive the car that often for the wipers to have worn out since July and my car is garage kept, with a smirky attitude, he replied "well I cant say how much you drive". I said "well yes you can because here is the mileage on my oil change receipt and look at the mileage on the inspection receipt". He then said "well all Im authorized to do is get your license plate number and put it in our computer, to give you $8.00 credit towards your next visit". There will be no next visit. I trusted your company to do what is really needed for my car, not to do things that are not needed. I dont mind paying for WHAT I need, I do, however, mind paying for WHAT I DONT need. Just sayin!

What I hate more than poor service is dishonesty.I brought my Denali in for a oil change and a tire rotation.And I noticed that every other vechicle when it left the garage they brought the keys to the front for check-out within about five minutes.Not my vehicle,after they pulled my vechicle out of the garage they did not come back with my keys to the front desk for check-out not until about thirty minutes later and red flags went off in my head.Anyway when I got my vehicle back they had damaged one of my MGP brake calipers and they left a large screw driver in my front drivers seat.They did however make an effort to try and fix it but the damage was already done.I just had them remove the caliper and cut my losses.And they made no offer to not charge me for services rendered or any other discount.So I strongly advised all my friends and co-workers that this place of business is fine if all you want is an oil change.

I was not impressed. Only positive thing I can say is that it was relatively fast & I didnt have to do work myself. I usually do my own service but short on personal time to do own oil change. Had just changed wiper blades about 2 weeks earlier & they tried to sell me new ones...said it wouldnt pass inspection cuz dry rotted. 2 months later went to reputable mechanic who found brakes soon need replacement (original on 4 yr old car) but said wipers looked great. Left Jiffy Lube that first visit to rattle in dash not there before, went back, they found debris had dropped into compartment when they removed cabin air filter, then mechanic had nerve to try giving me guilt trip over his scraped knuckles - excuse why not done right first time. Great place if you are clueless about your cars needs and have bottomless wallet. Otherwise, need to say No and be firm about what service you want & nothing more.

When I visited this Jiffy Lube a couple days ago, I was very hesitant about going after reading pervious reviews. I figured Id still go just to give them a chance. When I pulled up the service guy walked out to me to ask what work I needed done even offered me free coffee he was very sweet. It didnt take them any longer than 15 minutes for their oil service and the pricing was cheaper than what I normally pay at Sunoco. NOTHING WAS STOLEN OUT OF MY TRUCK... SERVICE THERE IS GREAT NOW.

The WORST place ever. My car was overheating so I reluctantly pulled in to jiffy lube out of desperation. I specifically asked them to make sure my coolant was fine. The guy looked me in the eye and said he was topping off the coolant. I drove off and continued to have heat problems. I drove a mile down the road to a mechanic who told me I was a gallon low on coolant!!! I WOULD STRONGLY RECOMMEND YOU NEVER GO HERE!

They are fast and cheap but if you have a newer car that needs things reset when you get your service I do not recommend them. My 2009 Honda fit needs the oil life reset which they did not do and my tire pressure was not correct. My low tire pressure was on and he said it should turn off after driving a few minutes. I ended up going somewhere else the next day to get everything fixed. Luckily they did it for free.

Went for an oil change and decided to also rotate my tires right after I left my check engine light came on. I came back they said nothing was wrong I left and as I was driving my tire blew up and now I am stuck on the side of the road plus costs for tow truck and new tires. Last time I will be going there. I was lucky I wasnt going fast or I cant even imagine what could have happened.

The best place for oil Change... And to get your vehicle inspected...excellent service rate them five stars..great service and gets the job done in a great period of time with a fair rate..cant complain...and have a great team of workers who are very very nice..will recommend jiffy lube to anyone.. thank you Jiffy lube team, for your excellent service everytime...

All staff was polite, and one of the staff members opened the door for me and told me where to sit, and he would be right back. Gave me a Jiffy Lube presentation, and answered questions I had about my car. Very nice man, I hope he gets better, he had the hiccups and tried his best to suppress them. Oh well, that happens to all of us every blue moon
