Im a new member, but I have been to the club on a trial pass and had a few opinions. 1. The gym itself is nice. Theres a lot of new machines and the club looks good. The fitness area is clean from what I saw and the machines looked like they worked well. The class area also looked well kept and very nice, and the juice bar also was very nice and clean looking. 2. The pool is nice. The water is cool so you dont over heat and theres 4 lanes which is typical of LA fitness. The pool is also clean. The spa is also decent although theres a crack in the cement which can cut your foot if you step on it wrong. I think it needs to be patched. 3. The mens locker room NEEDS to be renovated. Its disgusting looking. The floors feel gross even though they are clean, and the sinks look nasty although they are clean (somebody was there cleaning the locker rooms). Theres also quite a few locker doors that are broken, or completely knocked off. This is the major reason for losing 2 stars. Once they renovate the locker rooms this club will be fantastic, but thats what brings it down for now.

Signed up a few months ago. Was given a job offer but havent had a chance to relocate and travel time is not easy. I did not read the fine print on the contract for personal trainers. So, when trying to get out of the contract found out that I couldnt. Tried voicing my opinion and even omitted to being at fault for not reading the contract and the manager kept interuppting me. Refused to let me (as a paying customer) to finish what I was saying. Obviously this made it worse. I reported this site to coporate who did listen to all I had to say and let me calm down. Unfortunately, this was a huge mistake. Will pay for these training sessions but will not be going. Also, my daughter was going to get training as well. The young lady kept telling me to call her to set up a time. Called several times she never returned my calls, not even to say we might have to get another trainer for her since Im busy. Very disgusted with this place. My friends warned me not to go and I should have listened to them.

Loved going to this gym even though it was kind of shabby... because it was useful. There are almost always 5 or 6 machines broken throughout the club.. and the kids club staff are young people not trained to work with children. Still we were going regularly until LA Fitness saw fit to cut their kids club hours- making it not work for our schedule anymore. We found another LA Fitness with later hours for the kids club- until we showed up tonight with our child and found out they had changed their hours with no warning. Our son was in tears. It was awful. Oh- and in the 5 months we went we watched a complete and total turnover in the entire staff. And the club closed for like 9 days for maintenence and repairs- and no difference could be seen. Dont join this club. You will regret it.

been going to this one for few yrs. its the closest & i meet my friends to play there. but it is the oldest one in the area. so it has very old equipment. they refuse to replace the machines or do any renovation because it will reduce the managements bonus!!. just greed and no other reasons. manager gave me the wrong membership and now will not fix it. was pressured by trainer/Mngr to buy $600 of classes, he is gone & no refund. i can go on and on and on..... get it? good. Update 2/25/13 This is an importent update i need to post here. few months ago the gym was finally renovated. It is much much better now. even the staff is nicer. i am guessing that its coming from a change in managment. its about time, well done LA fitness.

Im a new member. Facilities are tired and in need of complete renovation. Mens locker room is dirty to filthy. Trash cans (ALL of them) are overflowing with trash spilling out on the floor. Disinfectant is sparse (other fitness clubs have stations everywhere). Staff is truly friendly but unknowledgeable. FM stations for picking up TV audio do not work anywhere - the staff admitted it never has. Audio & TV controller on all machines does not work and staff says never has. Wow! This place needs new management and staff-training, renovation and cleanliness-training.

Went because it was close to work, will never go back. Cleaned off one of the old stair masters with the closest cleaning product. After slipping on the metal on the stairs handles because they were so old I got off and went to an elliptical. Used the same cleaner to clean that machine, a few minutes later I looked down at my hands and they were covered with white specs from the cleaner. Left promptly to shower and my hands are still covered and I can still smell the cleaner post shower.

Two years ago the staff was friendlier. Said hello upon arrival and goodbye when leaving. Old machines no tv like other LA Fitness I have been too. Machines work well. Not enough sanitizer dispensing units. Cleanliness is good for the most part. Free weights are hard to find at times ...would like to see the staff go around every 2 hours putting the weights back in order.

Ive been going to different LA Fitness locations for years now and this particular location has a serious problem with people not putting their weights away after using equipment. Staff doesnt seem to do anything about it. This leads to a lot of wasted time standing around waiting to see if anyone is still using equipment loaded up with weights.

1st time back after a 3 year absence for medical reasons. Completely new staff, look less messy. The one thing noticed., the front staff not friendly at all. Tried to be friendly and conversate but no response. It used to be more friendly 3 years ago. They made u feel welcome and if you had any question they were more than happy to help.

My wife and I and 2 year old son joined LA Fitness, HV in March this year. The club is great for our needs. The kids club staff is friendly and caring. The classes we take have really good instructors. Plenty of parking. Suggestions to get five star rating- offer kids swimming lessons.

I love this gym but whenever it needs attention the repairs r slow or inadequate. The womens showers are covered with black mold! Some of the women r so rude & entitled they dont care if they clog up the shower drains with coffee grains they scrub their psoriasis with!

Very accommodating staff. My husband and step-sons have had a wonderful experience working out there for years. Mike Rogers is an excellent ambassador for the company. His engaging personality and hospitality has made for an excellent time at the gym.

Every other day the club is shot down ! Look like the employees just want to run away and get a day off. When it come to money , they call you very aggressively , day and night , allot worse then the banks or credit card collectors

Good gym. Ive met a lot of people that I play basketball with. The only down fall I see to the gym is that one of the basketball courts in wayyy shorter than the other one.
