Service was prompt. The person who came out to our home was prompt, courteous, knowledgeable and did the job he said needed to be done. My only complaint was that the cost was more than I felt the job should have been. The $405 for the service seemed very high for the amount of work that was required. It was an actual job time of less than an hour. The area that needed to be cleared and unclogged was less than 30 feet. I do realize that had it required more time or additional areas to be unclogged - we had root growth in our older sewage lines - the cost would have not increased. It just seems that since our potential area was so much smaller than other problem/cloggs may have been, that the cost should have been proportionately smaller. I do realize that this service was preformed on a weekend. However, if I was given the oppertunity to shop around I definitely would have tried to get a more reasonable rate - I was in a position where I did not have the option of trying to get a lower rate I would have chosen that. Given the same situation again, I will now call around for competitive rates and try to get a service that is not so expensive. Again, I was pleased with the results, but the cost really seemed excessive.

Snaked and put a camera down the main sewer line and told us the lines had to be replaced. The workmen came as scheduled, were very polite and professional. Handled the permit and inspection by L&I. But, they ignored the fact that we had an outside lamp post, and they cut the power line to the post. The company refused to accept liability for the damage (read the reverse of the contract carefully!) We agreed to use their concrete sub-contractor to replace the concrete blocks that were removed during the job. The concrete work was supposed to be done about two weeks later. It is now almost two months after the job and the concrete works has not been done. Have made repeated calls to Roto-Rooter. They do not return calls. If you can manage to get a live person when you call, they give you the name of a manager or the concrete contractor, and tell you they will call you back a a certain time. They do not. So, if you use this company and they tell you that your sewer lines needs to be replaced, get second and third opinions. Read the entire contract carefully as they indemnify themselves against any and all damage that they do (via negligence or otherwise) and DO NOT use their concrete sub.

Had a break in my sewer line which needed to be replaced. Quickly discovered from calling several plumbers that it would be difficult to find someone because the local inspector strictly enforces the local code to where most plumbers dont want to deal with the hassle. Not only was Roto-Rooter willing to do the work, they scheduled it immediately, and came in at half of the cost of many of the quotes we received. When the tech came out to begin the work he needed access to the basement and my wife told him it was a mess (which he expected from sewer back up), he explained that they could dispatch and service to clean and disinfect it and remove any contaminated property. They came quickly came out and set up all of the paperwork with our homeowners insurance company. I have used Roto-Rooter once in the past for a smaller job. I was equally satisfied with this work as I was the last job. Left for work before they arrived but, they quickly completed the job long before I arrived home. From my wife and sons descriptions everything was handled in a friendly, professional manner. I will definitely recommend them to my neighbors

I recently called Roto Rooter for an issue we were having with our toilet in the laundry room. The tech that responded was sent from the 6303 McPherson Street, Levittown, PA location. Scott was not only promptly on time but he was also extremely professional in introducing himself and letting me see clearly his company logo on his uniform and his truck. He was efficient with surveying our property for the problem we reported and he took his time with evaluating the situation before determining exactly what the problem was. His determination was bang on and I believe his estimate was more than fair. He performed the work in an efficient and accurate manner and explained everything he was doing clearly. Needless to say, he was successful in solving our issue and did so in a timely fashion. We will not hesitate to contact Roto-Rooter in the future for all of our plumbing needs! We will also recommend them to our family and friends if they are ever in need of plumbing/waterproofing services. Thanks so much for the excellent service!

I highly recommend Roto-Rooter for every plumbing problem, issue or situation that you may encounter in your home! Due to the cold weather we recently have experienced, my water valve had developed a couple of cracks which lead to water leaking onto part of the basement floor. Needless to say I was frustrated at the pooling water on the floor, was tired of using the Shop Vac and didnt know who to call. I remembered that I had to call Roto-Rooter last year to come and repair another problem in the bathroom and decided to call them again. I am pleased to say that as of this afternoon, my problem, which was more serious than I thought, is fixed! He removed and replaced the main shut off valve and the pressure reducing valve. Im very relieved because he said it could have been worse had I waited any longer. Steve was very friendly, patient with my questions and very professional. Thank you Steve and Roto-Rooter for great service and great work!!!!

FANTASTIC PLUMBING SERVICE IN PHILADELPHIA AREA!!! Not only did Dan Schmidt arrive promptly, as scheduled, he fixed a difficult, nasty problem that my original plumber was not able to fix. He completed the job with patience, was extremely professional & pleasant and kept me and my husband informed every step of the way. He cleaned up everywhere he worked and left no mess - in fact he left it cleaner than it was originally. Who does that?? I have to admit I was extremely skeptical of calling Roto-Rooter but am so glad I did. I wouldnt hesitate to call them again. Dan was great and he spoke highly of everyone else associated with the company if I should ever need service again. Thank you Dan! It was a pleasure having you in my home & I will use and refer Roto-Rooter to my friends and family. ;-))

We have solicited a number of Plumbers to do a job, but we decided on Roto-Rooter. After talking with the Representative who was very knowledgeable and straightforward, we decided to let him run the camera which wasnt offered by the other contractors for some unforeseen reason or maybe they just didnt have that technology (Roto-Rooter has been around a long time which should count for something/you cant stay in business screwing things up). Although this was somewhat expensive, your paying for professionalism and quality which is priceless when you own a home. Also, a five year warranty came with the work that I had done.My first experience with Roto-Rooter seems to be running smoothly; thus, at this point, Im very pleased.
