I lived at 310 Cedar Spring Road Kennett Sqaure pa for about a year and half. During that time, I was never late on a payment and I was a model tennant. In return, the company was routinely late on performing necessary maintainance (my faucet one leaked for a 2 months before they fixed it, even then only becuase their hot water was running out) and were terrible to deal with when I was leaving. I left a forwarding address with the super and but never got my deposit back even though there was no damage to apartment. After I asked for the deposit, they claimed that they did not have a forwarding address. After I re sent them the forwarding address, they charged me a check cancelation fee and then sent me the deposit. There are better places to live in Kennett, this real estate company also owns other properties in Kennett I believe. Please do not bother.

First of all, it might appear to be a nice development but guess what its not. There are bedbugs, cockroaches, pillbugs, beetles, ants, flies all over the apartment and they send some company to "handle" it but of course that doesnt work.They repeatedly do the same approach instead of doing more/something different. Also, read the lease contract very carefully, you are stuck in the apartment until your lease is up. The mailboxes can be very easily opened by other tenants. There is only one parking spot for your vehicle. So you have to park wherever you can or park somewhere else and get ticketed. The amount of rent for this place you would think would provide for a better place but its the opposite.

I am giving 5 stars because of the people who work in the management. I had a great experience with the management and maintenance at Media Real Estate. The building in which I live is a little old but they work hard to make sure they address their tenants needs. Also, the general manager is very nice and understanding. Despite the fact that I didnt have a clear vacate date and had to cancel it a couple of times, she was very helpful and always worked something out. I never had to deal with any unnecessary charges or strict rules that only serve the landlord.

Media Real Estate is the worst but you are stuck dealing with them if you want to rent in the fabulous town of Media. They are difficult to get a hold of when you have an issue and forget it if you need anything fixed. They do not keep up with the outside areas or common aread as they shold and raised rent every renewal but provideo no additional service or amenities. They are not a customer focused company and I hopened one day another company takes them over. If I could rate them in negative stars, I would.

I had a great experience with Media Real Estate. They are so responsive and seem really interested in creating positive experiences for tenants. Not every management company or landlord can say the same. I worked with Amanda - she was fantastic! Media is a great town and this is a great company to work with.
