Theyre polite, but they sure do make a sales pitch. No, thanks. I dont want to be added to your email list. No, thanks, even if you give me money. Oh, not actually money back - points in your loyalty program - well, still no, thanks. No, thanks I dont want a Wissler license place. No, not even if its going to save me money on every oil change. Yes, Im sure. Why dont you ask me again a few times. Maybe Ill change my mind. Took my Prius in for a routine inspection and oil change this week, because my regular mechanic is closed on Saturdays and I cant get the car there during the week. They told me that the car didnt pass emissions because the check engine light was on. (The check engine light was not on.) They said they checked the "codes" and there were two issues that needed to be corrected, but that they couldnt correct them because they arent qualified to work on hybrid cards. When I pressed them on the details (they were very reluctant to give me the code numbers) they said that the codes were #40100 - Comm between ECM and HVECU no signal, and #40111 - Comm problem between battery ECU & HV control no signal. According to my regular mechanic these codes dont exist and are meaningless. Oh, and by the way, he told me that theres nothing wrong with the car and he passed it for emissions. (So I had to pay two different shops for my emissions inspection this year, and there was nothing wrong!) Apparently, the folks at Wissler were confusing the "Maintenance Required" light with the "Check Engine" light. The former comes on automatically to remind you to change the oil. But, since they thought it was the "Check Engine" light, I guess they thought they just had to make something up to justify failing the emissions test. And, they didnt clear the Maintenance Required light either, or put a new oil changed sticker on the windshield, so I guess Ill just have to deal with the light being on for the next five months and remember the mileage of this oil change. When I looked at the paperwork later, I saw that the technician had actually written on the form, where it asks for the battery status - "Cant find the battery." So, Im guessing that they really dont have anyone there that knows ANYTHING about hybrid vehicles. I recognize that the battery in this car would not get checked like a normal car battery. But was this guy really looking around under the hood going, "Wheres the battery?" They also failed it for inspection due to low tire tread. I paid for the initial inspection, but they said that I would have to pay AGAIN to have it re-inspected after the tires were changed. So, I did get the tires changed by my regular mechanic, and I paid AGAIN for the inspection from him, rather than paying Wissler any more money. These guys are just in it to get as much money out of you as they possibly can. And, they dont seem to know much about cars - at least not mine. Not going back. Ever.

I have been searching all over the Philly area for the last 7 weeks for a deal on a certified Jeep Grand Cherokee, and had visited quite a few dealers in the area to test drive and get the best deal possible. I have also been scouring the internet on every single auto purchase website that has ever been created, searching for just the right vehicle. I finally came across Wissler Motors in Mount Joy and found a couple of vehicles I was interested in and their pricing listed on the internet was fantastic. I reached out to Wissler Motors and got a hold of Alex Pared and talked to him about the cars I was interested in and that I would like to come in. Very polite and courteous on the phone and I ended up getting anxious and taking a friday afternoon drive out to the dealership, which is about an hour and a half from my house. In the meantime I reached out to some co-workers who live in Mt. Joy to see if anyone had purchased from Wissler and heard some great feedback. When I got to the dealership one of the cars I was looking at had sold but they still had the one 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee I was more interested in available. Alex was very apologetic about the other vehicle, it wasnt that big of a deal for me in the end anyway. There was no pressure whatsoever from the second we started talking. Spoke with a few other people on staff and all were very nice and approachable. This was refreshing after being at other dealerships who acted the exact opposite. Took the car for a test drive and knew that was the car i wanted. The price on the internet was super competitive and the best deal I could find for this model and trim within a couple hundred mile search. When it came time for my trade in I knew I wasnt going to get much on an 11 year old car with 237K miles on it. But instead of just throwing a number at me Alex showed me exactly how they got there with the KBB Dealer valuation. This was something that really impressed me and made me feel that everything was transparent and out in the open. After a few rounds we finally got down to a price i was comfortable with. We had a little trouble with the paperwork and had to push the deal back a couple days but Alex was very understanding and after putting down a deposit made me feel reassured I was not going to miss on on this deal. I have been in my new car for the last week and love it so far. I have been praising the staff at Wissler and telling friends, co-workers and family if they need a vehicle to look up Wissler Motors. It was ultimately their pricing, customer service, and transparent approach that made me feel great driving off the lot with my new vehicle. If only I would have started here first I could have saved a few weeks of aggravation. Thanks again to Alex, Chris, and the rest of the staff at Wissler Motors.

The worst place to take your car for any service. Took my car there for an estimate because my fuel tanked busted and they gave me an estimate need I remind you the car was outside the dealer the whole time never once was the car inside the lot, so they gave me an estimate of almost 1200$ and I found a place that done it for 500$ less so I informed them that I cancelled service with them and they said ok thats fine. I went back about a month later because the air in my tire was going out so I took it there for an estimate waited 2 whole hours and the guy whose in charge of the service department comes to me and say "Hey im assuming you got your fuel tank fixed but that day my guy spent 15 minutes to clean the gasoline off the ground, and you guys took the car and didnt come back" and I said yeah I called and said I didnt need the service found somewhere else a lot more cheaper and he said "well theres a environmental fee for that clean we did" I was like what? That wasnt mentioned to me a month ago when the car was here? Like they had my number im pretty sure they would have called to inform me that but they didnt. So in the process of getting my car back they told me "they are legally allowed to keep my car hostage until I paid my fee"....What the hell the worse place ever I would never recommend this place to anyone ever.
