January 2016- It seems its the same-old/same-old, with miss-deliveries. This Sunday afternoon, hubby found a box (small, but too large to fit in a mailbox) on the hood of his car! Other tenants and we have found mail left ...on top of...the mailboxes which are down at the road! No cards about too-large mail are left in our boxes, either. The carriers are too lazy to come up the complexs drive! Our mail indicates which unit were at, the units are clearly visible, and ... all boxes at the road are clearly noted.They have caused hardship for the past two years, especially. Am currently searching for "delivered" mail, its the holiday, so its a lights-are-on-but-nobodys-home situation! Reporting to the Postmaster General seems useless endeavor,also. Since a few "retired" from there, they cant seem to keep anyone, and other employees are sent there--- to help out. They seem so disgruntled! Were calm when inside there, not wanting anyone to "go postal." This place needs a shake up!

If I could give negative stars I would. Its a shame to live in a town and have such a terrible post office. Between losing packages and ignorant staff idk what is worse. I called in regards to a lost package and what I need to do in order to file a claim about the lost package since this was my first time ever doing so and not only the first time I called but the second time I called was even worse! Both of the employees talked to me with such disrespect it was unreal. Never again will I ever deal with that post office even though Im living its postal code. The perkasie post office is nothing but rude and ignorant people that make you feel stupid when you have never done something before. If they dont like their jobs maybe they should look for employment elsewhere. Did they ever think the person on the other line was having a terrible day and they just made it even worse!? Thats what they did to me and I will never deal with them again! Thanks perkasie

By far the worst post office of anywhere I have lived. If I could leave zero or negative stars I would. Mail is constantly delivered to the wrong addresses, luckily the tenants in my apartment complex are honest so when everyone is getting home from work at the end of the day it is a mail exchange in the hallways every day. And whatever you do, do NOT have a packaged delivered by the USPS in Perkasie, use FEDEX or UPS. If the package is too big to fit in your mailbox the Post office will just sit on it. You might get a redeliver notice if you are lucky, and even if you do sign it most of the time they still wont redeliver unless you call and when you do call they act like you are being unreasonable to them to redeliver your package. Avoid using this post office at all costs, they are lazy, rude and extremely unprofessional.

Just moved into Perkaise a few days ago. The post office workers were awesome. The lady up front helped me through the papers to get everything together and signed so I could have keys to my mailbox at my apartment . Literally within no time I had a call that keys were ready and I could pick up. They were generous and understanding of the fact with the snow comingthat iI could wait til Monday to pick up keys after they did an awesome job to have the locks changed on the previous tenants box and have new keys to me very quickly. Im from Lansdale originally and always had problems with that post office from the start, and they had more people working and it still was a disaster. My visit went smoothly and I was very pleased. Thank you Perk Post Office!

I have had three mis-deliverd packages in the past month, plus at least 2 mis-delivered letters. Fortunately on all but one item, the neighbors who recieve my mis-directed mail have been honest and returned the items. On the last item I was not so lucky and so I was told to file a claim for this item. I Since no insurance was purchased I guess I am just out $25.00. The carrier"swears" she put it in the mailbox--I agree--she put it in "A" mailbox---unfortunatley it was the WRONG mailbox and now I am out $25.00. It doesnt seem fair that the carrier actually remembers handling my package but because she put it in the wrong mail box it now becomes my problem and I have no recourse.

I have electronically submited to have my mail forwarded and despite having a receipt showing that is was submitted and the address is valid, I did not receive my mail for over two weeks. I called the post office and they stated " im looking at your mail currently and we dont kno why it wont go through". They never called me to say they were having an issue, they simply sat on my mail. When delivered by carrier, I could not ask for more. Friendly and consistent service. Its when you depend on the office to forward mail that things get "lost".

If you go into the P.O. they are slow but nice. The mail carriers dont check to see if you have outgoing mail in your mailbox. If they dont have mail for you, they dont even go to your mailbox. We dont have flags to put up so the only way to see if we have outgoing mail is to look. Also, I have had a package out for delivery since yesterday and it still hasnt been delivered...gotta wonder whats going on. I tried calling in and the phones been busy for about an hour...

Oh boy, wish I could give less then one star. Worst service ever. Very unprofessional. Probably steal your package otherwise I dont see a reason why they loose your package so often. An advice please pay a little extra for FedEx or UPS. Its a shame I did not have an option to use other services. I hope they shut this place down for the betterment of people and the useless crew at this place do something they are good at.

I have called them multiple times to figure out why I am not receiving my mail anymore when our mail lady told me that her post office manager told them to send my mail anymore that I do not live at my residence anymore, I have lived here almost 5 years and never had a problem nor changed my address you get out on hold for 50-60 minutes ridiculous !!!!!!! Worst service ever!!!!!!!

I had an issue with a package tracking which needed to be forwarded to the recipients new address, because they moved, and I called this post office to help me. I got lucky enough to speak to Ms Heidi who was very helpful in resolving my issue. She made sure the package was being forwarded to the new address and she was very nice and kind. Thank you Heidi

Just wanted to thank Jim from Perkasie post office! We just moved into the area, and had to get a key for our mailbox. I had gone there to take care of it, but nobody was in that could help me. A bit frustrating, however the next day the key and our mail was bought to our door. Totally a rare service these days and I truly appreciated it!!!! Thank you.

Avoid this place like the plague. If I could receive packages/mail with another carrier/company, i would do it in a heartbeat. The postal service is terrible overall but this location manages to lower the bar even further past rock-bottom. Carriers forget packages, and lose mail for days or even weeks.
