I am an African American....and have been a client for 5yrs plus, I started going to (Rosie) New Image at her Mt. Airy location because I live in that area.... travel all the way from there because I am so pleased with the service and care that I get, and trust me I have been getting my hair done for yrs by all kinds of professional salons, so I know first hand! Rosie is in to hair care, and only wants the best for the client. She has many many black clients both at her Norristown location and her Mt. Airy location. My advice to anyone who has dought; is dont believe what you hear and judge by your own personal experience! I know take it from me. :) This shop is good and not at all races!

Just left the salon. Worst experience ever upon walking in I was motioned to walk to the back, no hello how may I help you nothing. Before washing my hair (4c curl pattern) she started to comb my hair! Thats a no no. You detangle while wet. When Styling my hair she didnt listen, at all. Worst stylist ever! Oh and both stylist were rude when I paid my balance and left. Will never return and will tell all my friends and family not to waste their time nor money.

I read the horrible review and it kept me from going here. My normal salon was closed and my hair was hideous due to the holiday parties and sweat, (2yrs natural 4A/4B texture) So i went. I wish i had gone sooner! They were very courteous and took great care of my hair! It has never been so straight! And the price was reasonable

The outcome is amazing and its flowy and beautiful, But they burn your scalp with the blow drier and this is not just from my experiences , many of my friends/family have told me the same thing . So I was just putting that out there !

I havent had a perm in a year, and when the hair dresser got finished with my hair I was like wow, I gave her a $10 tip I wont be going anywhere else thank you!!!!!!!
