Im a pretty easy going person. Usually, I wait for my nail tech. However, due to time constraints I let another tech work on my nails. Not only did she cut me, she tried to cover the cut with her hand and place my feet back into the water. I insisted she let me see. I was bleeding and it burned. Next, the tech leaves and returns with a green solution. I asked what it was, because she placed it upon my toe so quickly before I could ask the question. I asked 3 times until another tech responded it stops the bleeding. It was at that time I realized there was a language barrier. Trying to be a good sport, I let the tech resume the pedicure. It became worse from there. At that point I felt I had no choice but to stop the pedicure and ask for the manager. Please know, I didnt think any of this discomfort was intentional. When the manager arrived, she began over talking me. I politely asked her not to do that and let me talk. Nonetheless, the manager explained the language barrier and she did not mean to do it. He asked if I wanted another tech to complete the rest of my spa visit. I stated, "yes". I frequent this place often, but havent since I lost my father. What I found lacking was the non effort to make my experience whole given I have been a customer for 3 years. I was charged the full amount and never once was an apology offered. Merely, an explanation of what occurred. I must say the manage did have an extensive conversation with the tech, but I cannot tell you the nature of the conversation, because I dont speak the language. Im a little disappointed, because I sent 5 customers there over the 3 years who are recurring. Honestly, I expected the pedicure to be discounted. The water was cold for my manicure and when I told the new tech she chuckled. If I return, only my normal tech will give me my spa treatment. I usually rave about this place. #broken.hearted

My experience on 3-31-17. I asked to test a particular color to determine if I was going to use it. The nail tech puts it on Her nail.....um, excuse me we gave different skin tones, please put it on my toenail....I guess my request was to much, she proceeds to do my pedi/refill with attitude. Finally, I asked "are you having a bad day?" Youre being mean today....I guess that question pissed her off as she decided not to answer. She cut my finger with the drill during the process. I aked for the antibacterial ointment, she tried to ignore me. Finally, my patience wore thin. Told the owner you better get her, before I do and I need another tech, I dont want her working on me. The owner talked to her in his native tongue. Told me he would talk to her, however never offered an apology. Too boot this chick tried to overcharge me! So, I will no longer go to Best Nails in Chestnuthill since customer satisfaction is not their business!

Understaffed and rude. I came in asking about gel pricing and was given the colors and told to pick and sit so I did. Next thing I know Im getting yelled at for not writing my name down and harassing me saying why I stood up when the other worker told me Im next because aparently you dont get served if you dont sign in. I would not have known that, it was my first time at the place. Needless to say, just expect really stressed out, rude and unhappy workers helping you out. If youre coming to destress and relax, this is not a place for you. If you just want nails done and can bear the bad attitude and poor quality for cheaper nail service sure, go ahead. I didnt think it was worth it.

Will not be patronizing this nail salon again. The last time I was there approximately 2 weekends ago,it took the woman who I felt was not very professional. The time was there previous before this visit the woman cut too close my nail and it started bleeding, I did not tip and I did not complain. This time this new woman took over an hour and the other woman that originally had cut me kept coming over and they were whis pering and had the giggles. I felt very they were being disrespectful and I hope management reads this and get rid of them. I Will not be returning.

This nail salon is horrible. They do thing backwards which is why they are always crowded. I went in for a refill and toe polish change. He (nail tech Kevin) did my refill then said wait til someone else get me to polish my toes when he couldve just did it after my nails at the station where I was sitting. The way they do pedicure are so half ass its ridiculous!!! Their work is very half ass for the price. The only thing good about this salon is that its in a nice neighborhood. Oh and they do not have a good nail color selection.

Everyone in there is very nice, customer service plus. They are thorough and clean. I had heard about NextGen that my daughter from Atlanta had told me about because its healthy for your nails. They now carry it . Im very pleased everytime I go for eyebrows, pedicure and now NextGen.

Customer Service and quality could be better. I always leave having to fix or clean up my gel set. Right now, they have become the place I go as a last resort. Sometimes the attitudes suck.

This place is just ok. Not many matching gel colors to regular polish colors. They need a WAY better selection than what they have. They do great basic pedi, mani, eyebrows but thats it.

Awful. Second time here and they get worse and worse. I will never come back here or waste my money here.
