There is often only one woman at a time who can do nails. I walked in, and she told me to wait a few minutes while she finished up another girls manicure. The girl was getting white tips put on. The women accidentally used a clear tip for one of the nails, and instead of going back and fixing it, she just painted on a white tip, it did not match the other nails at all!! Twenty five minutes later, she started mine. It was extremely rushed, she didnt remove all of my polish, and I repeatedly asked her to go back and fix it before she put on the new sheer paint. Mine took about 20 minutes, no hand massage whatsoever, and she made the original customer wait for my entire manicure before she then waxed her eyebrows. The haircuts and other services may be okay, but the nail service is horrible!!

Armand, the guy who cut my hair, kept the shop open after 5pm just to accommodate me. Seriously, it was the best haircut I have gotten in years. Armand was willing to work with me -- he discussed styles that would suit me and then proceeded to give me a neat, clean "business look" for my interview the next day. Armand is one of those people who likes his job and you cant ask more from a hairdresser. Hes friendly, chatty and wants to work with you till you are satisfied. By far the best place in town for a haircut. Itll be closer to ~ $25, so reasonably priced and they are open on Sundays!

I work in the same building as the salon and have had the chance to talk to some customers here. My students appreciate the flexibility of scheduling and the convenient location. They are reasonably priced and offer competitive quality of service and products. I have also worked with them to offer promotions to UPenn employees and they have been very friendly in those interactions as well. Purchased a gift card from them recently and the recipient is a satisfied customer too.

Haircuts are good, but the hours advertised on google and on the door of the establishment are not consistent with the hours they keep. It is really frustrating! Showed up at 8:35am and the place was closed. Decided to grab a coffee and wait for it to open, but by 9:30am it was still closed. This is not the first time I have gone for a haircut there and it has not opened at the time advertised.

Really good barber here. My hair is kind of thin and hard to cut, but he took his time and got it right. You wont get quality like this from great clips.

The girl I had cut too short on the side... then cut the rest on that same side longer. I noticed it after I left. Very unprofessional. Wow.

No idea why they have 3 stars. Only used the barber though. Chuck is great. I call ahead and get right in, which helps my busy schedule.

I always come here. I cant speak for the manicurists but the haircuts are always careful and well done. Ask for Chuck, hes really good.
