Took my truck there but wasnt happy about it, was desperate to get it inspected. These places notoriously in the past (from my experience) had inexperienced or problem mechanics and attempt to upsell you on everything. Im mechanically versed so, I figured, what could go wrong? Well, they called me to tell me I needed to pads and rotors. I just did them about 9 months prior and was rather shocked, told them to slap them back together and Ill do the work myself. They made me pay by overtightening EVERY bolt on the brake assembly but nicely left the lugnuts almost hand spin-able. I was furious. I took the brakes apart , called to find out what the issue was and they said it was probably due to cracking or crazing on the brakes. One pad had a TINY little fissure at the very top about 2mm long. Ok well, every other place would pass you but, being they are national and need to sale to make money, I figured I wont get too upset. Today, I took the brakes apart again to replace pads because I was just not happy with the stopping power of these latest pads and wanted to swap them. Come to find out, they decided to use an extreme amount of torque on their tool to cross strip my caliper holder thread on one bolt. I had a HECK of a time getting that out, and of course, now I have to replace the caliper holder as it was stripped inside too. Thanks firestone, now I cant drive my vehichle over the holiday AND will need to shell out $50 to replace these items. Again, due to sloppy mechanics who are too lazy to hand tighten the first few threads of a bolt. Try to get my money? Not worth the battle, and I certainly dont want to go through the effort of showing them as they will deny responsibility as they did to another co-workers when they screwed up his suspension.

I am so glad I went here despite these reviews. I have tried out 4 or 5 places since I have had my car out around here, but I am sticking with this Firestone. I needed an inspection, oil change, and some work, and was able to get the appointment I wanted on very short notice (a matter of hours). Every person I dealt with was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. They were able to tell me what I needed to pass inspection (nothing more than I anticipated) and also suggested some additional services *as any good business person should* but made it very clear that these were suggestions and I didnt feel pressured to spend the extra money. I did end up getting some non-required services, and I think a lot of that was because of the great customer service here and that I really felt like they were being honest with me - especially since I had a good idea ahead of time of what my cars true issues were before I went in. The prices were competitive and the greater-than-average amount of services I needed were completed quickly, hours before I told them I needed to pick up my car even. The technician listed on my bill was Tom Baker, and my service advisor is listed as Robert - I forgot to ask the name of the person who I dealt with on the phone and at the desk, but if it was one of these gentleman, he was fantastic. My car is now running beautifully - and I will be back to take advantage of my lifetime alignment services on a regular basis!

We went today for an oil change and for them to change the air filter. We talked to them on the phone before we left, and they told us the prices, and it seemed reasonable and they mentioned that we could get coupons to make it even cheaper. They also said we could bring the car in. So we got there, and asked about the coupons and were told that it was actually their credit card that we had to sign up for. We decided against it, and they said it would take about an hour and a half. We gave them the keys and walked to Target. After about an hour, they called and said that the air filter was fine, but that our tires needed to be rotated, the alignment was probably off and that they felt the spark plugs should be replaced. We told them to rotate the tires and to skip the spark plugs. We walked back to the store, and they called us. By this point, it was about two hours after we had dropped the car off. They said that the alignment was pretty bad on the back tires. So we told them to do it. But after thinking about it, we realized that while driving the car, and we drive it pretty often, weve never noticed the car pulling towards any direction while driving. So we sort of feel that we were lied to for a sale. We ended up spending two and a half hours there and left spending a lot more money than we wanted. And felt scammed. We probably wont go back.

Beware, and question your advisor. A state inspection uncovered "heavily cracked tires" that "should probably be replaced ASAP," when in reality they are three year old tires with 73K out of 90K miles left (and absolutely no cracking). Our technician also found a leak in our exhaust that could be repaired same day for $1100. Skeptical of the tremendous finds I took the tires back to place of purchase and they deemed them uncracked, with plenty of tread left; and a visit across the street turned the $1100 exhaust into a $700 quote. Somehow, in all this mess, they "forgot" to do my lifetime alignment because they were waiting on whether or not I wanted to do the exhaust work (even though alignments are done in a completely separate bay). Harvey Firestone once said, "I believe fundamental honesty is the keystone of business." Im not sure if hed be impressed that his team found an honest flaw in my exhaust system, or if hed be troubled at the dishonest salesmanship. Its a complete shame, I trusted this location with three vehicles over the past 10 years. Officially done taking my business here.

If you want to get defrauded; this is the place to have your vehicle serviced. I am physically disabled with mobility limitations. The mechanic and service manager obviously thought they could defraud the disabled after I delivered my near new vehicle for state inspection. I was informed both inner tie rods were dangerously defective and hazardous to drive; they offered service replacements at over $600.00. There was obviously something very wrong with this assessment; I immediately removed my vehicle from their shop and had tie rods inspected by third party mechanic. Both tie rods were documented in like new condition with absolutely no appreciable wear. The personnel at Firestone are all nothing more than bloodsucking morons and criminals. Watch your back around these jackasses; they will steel the change out of your vehicle and bend you over for a booty-call.

I always take my Ford Edge Limited AWD to this location and I am happy I do! Took my 08 Ford Edge for power steering pressure hose replacement and I ask one of the Technicians that drove me to work while they work on my ride... To see if they could do my PA State & Emission Inspection to save me time.. Not only did this Firestone Complete Auto Care location live up to the name but they also spray painted my rotor hubs for me because they put new wheels and new tires on last week. So now everything looks new and clean :) Awesome Services Special Thanks to: 01 Robert, Service Adviser; and all 3 Technician(s): 06 Tom Baker, 08 Todd Chipman; 29 James Bogo I also give tanks to 05 Kelly.... Keep up the Great Services!!!
