I purchased a set of tires from Tire Kingdom in Boca Raton, FL late last year and recently had my wife go back to have them rotated prior to us leaving on vacation. The mechanic came to her after less than 20 minutes and said the battery was bad and the front brakes needed replaced. She told him no thank you, we just had the brakes done a few months back. Please just rotate the tires. While she waited, she called the Ford dealership and they confirmed they had just replaced the front brakes less than 90 days earlier. She immediately went and told the manager at the desk to get the car and bring it around. This morning my wife went back to the Ford dealership for an oil change and had them check the battery and the brakes. Both were in excellent condition and did not need replaced as the Tire Kingdom staff had suggested. I believe that this Tire Kingdom store uses DECEPTIVE BUSINESS PRACTICES that scare people into purchasing products and services that are NOT NEEDED in order to generate greater revenue. Whether they pay commissions based on sales and service work or simply have an atmosphere of greed and taking advantage of women in general, what happens there is wrong. My wife called the BBB and apparently they have a long list of complaints on this store as well as others in the Boca Raton area. She called the store manager after she received the report from the Ford dealership today and of course he stood behind his staffs recommendations and could not comment further. He said "without seeing the car, he has no idea what he can believe." He then tried to spin the entire event in order to get her off the phone. I truly believe that the manager, Gabriel Magnone, is fully aware of what is going on in his shop. The corporate Office needs to step in and clean house at this store unless they too reward bad behavior and turn a blind eye while their employees pray on the elderly and women in general. As consumers, all we can do is post reviews of the deceptive practices to warn others to choose a more reputable company for automotive service.

The store in Ponte Verde is great that we visit from time to time The store in Jupiter where we live Im starting to have regrets about. I took wifes van there to have oil changed and tire rotation picked up at night great. The next day when washing saw oil prints on car hood from hands. The service advisor was saying how they checked the hole car and everything looks good . Thats funny I said cause I know it needs breaks and rotors. I reported this to there survey company that called about there performance. So now I take the 2500hd there to get oil change and have looked over cause I couldnt get into chevy on North lake. Told them about the prints on wife hood and please make sure to grease A arms and drive lines if needed let me know if there is anything else . This truck is 2015 30000 miles and has all service records from chevy So I get a call your rear end fluid needs to be changed and fuel injection needs maintenance based on milage?? So I double checked cause I didnt see anything in owners manual saying it needed to be done nope nothing So go to pick up and now they tell me there is metal in my rear differential . I dont think so , one of the mechanics heard us talking and came over said it was based on milage . They didnt grease anything either cause I checked before I left, than climbed under the truck with the guy doing it to see if there were any others . Chris

Im a very cost sensitive shopper and do a lot of research to get the best deal I can find. Ive been a repeat customer at Tire Kingdom now for quite a few years since I seem to find the best deals there and service has been consistently good. A couple of days ago, I had a customer service issue that made me question my loyalty to Tire Kingdom. I was wondering if I should try another place for tires, but I thought it was worth the effort to address my concern with Tire Kingdom management before doing that. So glad I did this. Joey Mendoza (Store Manager) contacted me about my issue right away (actually he called me back, even before I had a chance to return his first message). To say that he took care of the problem would be an understatement...actually, he knocked it out of the park! The original issue that I had could happen at any auto shop, but the way Tire Kingdom, Joey, and his staff took care of me after the incident was truly impressive. I reward that kind of customer service with follow-up business; I will be taking one of my other cars to them for tires this weekend.

DO NOT GO TO TIRE KINGDOM ON INDIANTOWN UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE RIPPED OFF!! I used their location because of the late hours but will never go back again. My check engine light came on last year. I went to their store and paid around $400 to fix it and two days later the light came back on. They stated it was another issue and provided a quote in the $300 (part + labor) range but I did not have the money at the time. I came back 10 month later and they pulled the code again and stated it was the same issue. First, I had to call them 10 times to get a confirmation on the price....but now they state the part is $425 + labor?!?! I asked why the price of the part almost doubled and they stated that prices go up. I called Fords part department when I got off the phone and they confirmed the part was only $266...it did go up slightly but not to $425. Dont trust this store! As others have stated, they lie about the prices of parts!

I had to get a tire fixed. They said it couldnt be repaired, and Id need a new tire. So I asked how much. They guy quoted me $171 with their road hazard coverage for the tire. It was like 15 less without that. I said yes to the $171. An hour or so later they call me to tell me the car is done. I go up there, and low and behold, its now $263. I said, I didnt approve any work at that price and was quoted $171. Basically, the employees their, while admitting that someone there could have made a mistake, refused to do anything. Eventually, I had to ask that they put the spare back on because I was in no way paying this dishonest franchise. Fortunately, the manager called me back the next day and agreed to make the situation right. While this matter should have been taken care of in the first place, I do appreciate that once someone Senior was informed (he wasnt there originally), that the situation was resolved.

They fudged the truth a bit on my last visit. I had some uneven wear and was in for an alignment. The guys said that the metal belt was showing on the tires and that I needed new ones. I asked to go see the tires, and it wasnt worn down to the belt - not even close. My tires were in need of replacement (based on tread depth), but I didnt appreciate the dishonesty about the severity of the situation. On top of that, when I saw the tires (still on the car up on the lift), I realized that the uneven wear was caused by under-inflation rather than a bad alignment, so I likely didnt even need the alignment. The visit before that, I had the same experience that Jamie L had (below) - the price ended up being a lot more than their quote because they told me the price of the tires and conveniently forgot to mention the other fees for mounting, balancing, valves, etc. Im now looking for a new tire place.
