Recently I strayed from my usual mechanic in a pinch because they were booked up and I needed to have my brakes checked. I chose AAMCO because of all the positive Google reviews they’ve receive and I could get an appointment quickly. Upon my arrival, I had immediate concerns. I noticed a sign in the lobby offering a free oil change to anyone who writes a positive review on Google. So they’re basically bribing people for positive feedback and that did not sit well with me. My appointment was for 12:30. It took them about 30 minutes to pull my car into the garage to look at it, over an hour to inspect the brakes, and another 30 minutes to get a quote for the work that needed to be done. The whole process took much longer (over 2 hours) than I expected and I lost a half day of work because of it. After they inspected my brakes, they told me I needed new brake pads and rotors for both the front and back of my car. The quote came out to $900, which seemed really high to me. I was informed that they quoted OEM parts because they’re better quality. I asked about getting non-OEM parts and they proceeded to lecture me about the dangers of doing so. I have never used OEM parts on my cars and have never had any problems. Needless to say, I didn’t get my brakes fixed at AAMCO. They charged me $100 for the hour of labor, which is a pretty steep hourly rate compared to other mechanics in the area. A week later I went to my usual mechanic (Dan’s Garage) to get a second opinion. They confirmed I needed new brake pads and rotors in the rear, but said I could probably go another year on my front. So what would have been a $900 fix at AAMCO, ended up being $300 at Dan’s. I hope my unbiased review is helpful to my fellow Google readers. I guess I won’t be getting that free oil change.

Last week I made an appointment at Aamco as my car had been making a sound that I knew was not normal. The manager had explained their multipoint inspection, the starting point, and offered a ride to work when their hours conflicted with my job. What a relief as I hate to ask others to chauffer me around and the inconvenience of it all. When I arrived, the shop was surprisingly clean. The manager at the desk was friendly and very helpful. He quickly took the information the technicians needed to look at my car and someone dropped me off at work with the promise they would call when they knew what was wrong. Thank goodness I only had a bad wheel bearing and my car could be fixed by the end of the day. My stress level dropped. The cost of the repair was reasonable and they even picked me up at work and brought me back. My car is reliable again. Thank you Aamco for making this experience a positive one. I will certainly return to this shop when I need repairs in the future.

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful experience with the guys at AAMCO. Unfortunately our Thanksgiving was cut short due to an erratic driver that side-swiped her vehicle, and ran us off the road. Thanks to him the two of us had to spend our Thanksgiving night in a less than pleasing motel room because her car wouldnt go over 40 mph without shaking/making strange noises. The following morning I spent about a half an hour calling around to different shops. Dominic at AAMCO was the only person who asked if we were okay...Long story short, Dominic and his techs had the car on the lift in no time. Inspected the vehicle, restarted the computer in my girlfriends car and had it fixed. Tom the owner of the franchise even took a ride with the two of us to ensure that the car worked, and would not act up once we left the shop. Overall--absolutely some of the best service we have ever received. We were very grateful that our weekend was not completely shattered.

Im new to the area and usually go by reviews on where I get services done. I saw this was the highest rated body shop in the area and I can see why. I went here after my wreck and Anthony was beyond helpful the whole time. They did an awesome job on my car and detailed it nicely. The mechanic I went to for my inspection, I mentioned I went here for work and he said he did too and had nothing but good things to say about this business. I hope I never have to come back to see you guys, but if I do need anymore body work I will be coming back to here. Their ratings are warranted and Anthony is running a good business there and was so informative during every step of my job.

Crooks. STAY AWAY!!! I was alarmed at how many 5 star reviews there are for this place, which is why I felt inclined to give this review. BEWARE OF THIS PLACE. Where do I begin? Do not give them a password, as they use this tactic to wrongfully continue labor. They did over $1000 in additional repairs to my vehicle without authorization bringing my bill to about $2500. Then they tried to charge storage fees of $50 a day when I didnt have the extra money for the surprise bill. For that amount, I would have expected my car to last more than 6 months on the repair before promptly dying. DO NOT TRUST ANYONE THERE, NOT THE OWNER OR EMPLOYEES. RUN FAR AWAY.

Tom and the AAMCO team in Quakertown came to my rescue when my starter system died. Tom sent a mechanic to diagnose down the street where I couldnt move. They were able to get it started and going so I could get it into the shop. They replaced all the old parts with new. Some parts were 25 years old and hard to find. It does not hesitate to start even as the weather gets colder. All this extra mile service came at a very reasonable price, and a pleasant disposition. If I could give them 6 stars, they earned every one.

My engine light came on and my manual said to drive directly to my dealer. My dealer could not schedule anything for a week, so I tried aamco. They saw me right away, and checked everything out. It was a minor issue, and I drove the car right away with the light off. Best of all, there was NO CHARGE!! The people seemed honest and understanding. Plus, you can hang out at Johns diner right across the street, which is cheap and delicious while you wait. Thank you Aamco Quakertown!!

Took my car to AAMCO for the first time ever and was greeted by a wonderful staff. They were very friendly and talked over everything my car needed. Great prices and had some great conversation as well. When they found out I was missing time with my son while he was at home and I was at AAMCO they offered to drive me home and pick me back up when my car was completed service. Couldnt ask for a better experience. Definitely recommend to everyone. - Kyle

Had a wonderful experience last time I decided to go back and get my inspection done there. My car has lots of problems however AAMCO is here to help you with an easy paying solution and allowed me to get my car repaired and not take a huge dent out of pocket right there. By far this was the best decision I ever made. Great service, great prices, and they are happy to help you out whenever you need it. Plus they also enjoy card magic!
