I went to this Midas location for more then a year now. I always got my cars inspected there and got oil changes for all cars. Since I was there last time the service got really bad. I had 2 cars inspected at the same day and both cars got an oil change with tire rotation and everything that comes with it. Here the things I didnt like: -Midas did not reset my bord computer for the oil change. So now my car tells me every time I start it that I need an oil change. -They gave me a $1500 bill so my car can pass inspection. I declined it and went to the store and did everything myself. I was told I just need to change the brake pads if I do it myself and I will pass. I paid $43 at pepboys plus 15$ for bulbs. I was told at pepboys that my brakepads are still in perfect condition and there wouldnt be a need to change them also. I have the same situation with both cars they had. Both brakes are still perfect and they tried to charge me for new brakes (they want $400 labor for the brakes). -They wanted to replace my rotors. I had them on the car for 1 week. So there is not way they even checked that. -I paid for tire rotation but they didnt rotate them. -they wrote they adjusted the tire pressure and never did it. The number on they wrote was wrong also. So they never even checked the tires. Every professional can do the job in an hour. Since this shop tries to make money with repairs that arent necessary, I wont go back to this location. A year ago the shop was way better.

I would give 0 stars if I could. I took my Jeep Wrangler in for oil change and inspection. Since last year, I only drove the car about 1500 miles, yet when I took it in, was told it needed over $900 in work to pass inspection and that it shouldnt even be driven because it was in such disrepair, and that if I hit a bump my wheel could fall off, and that I should have it towed wherever I took it. I told them I would take my chances and get a second opinion. On top of all that, I was charged for emissions, even though I only drove 1500 miles since my last inspection. I called the shop to ask why and the guy said maybe he couldnt read my sticker (he wasnt sure), yet it is plain as day on the old inspection sticker that is still on my car (since I failed) what the mileage is. I was also told by the 2nd opinion mechanic that the guy couldve looked up what my mileage was last year. After getting a second opinion, was told there was nothing wrong with my car and it passed inspection just fine. I strongly recommend anyone looking to go to this Midas to stay FAR AWAY, otherwise youll be paying for work you dont need and emissions regardless of how many miles you drive.

Hello, I have been a customer at this location for many years, now my third car just got Inspected yesterday , front brakes last Friday and all is well! The Lead Master Mechanic , Dan Phillips has been there for over 35 yrs ! Hes the best, he listens to you when you have questions , he shows you you car from the underside, gives you options for the work needed as well ! Then theres Chris whos up front at the counter greeting you when you come in, he also listens to what you have to say , explains the issues at hand and also suggests options as to how to get the needed work or inspection done at your convenience ! This location has always been outstanding with personalized Customer Service, Professionalism and overall great Service . I think Dans knowledge and expertise should be noticed and greatly recognized and would like to see him in new Commercials for your Company, or continue Teaching the newer Techs working with him or doing great things in the Corporate Environment with his vast Skill Sets ! A couple of months ago I came into the store because I had a broken brake light on my 2004 Toyota Prius. Admittedly, I am an eighteen year old girl with absolutely no knowledge of cars and these guys saw this the moment I walked into the store. And I guess they thought they would try and take advantage of this and see how much money they could get out of me. They told me that because it was an old car they would have to replace the entire brake light and it would cost about $600. But they told me dont worry we might be able to get you a used part for just $300. Obviously I wasnt about to pay them that much right there so I called my dad and he told me to get out of there. So I drove to the Pepboys ten minutes away and bought a new bulb for $3 and replaced it myself. Shame on you guys for trying to take advantage of someone who doesnt know anything about cars and how stupid of you to actually believe that I was going to hand you 300-600 dollars for a brake light. Save your hard earned money and go some place that has some integrity.

I came in from out of town visiting family in the Downington area, been a lifelong Midas customer and took my mother in laws car in for brakes because they were making a grinding noise when I applied the brakes. Was talking to the man up front (Kyle) and he was saying that he is the new manager and just took the store over about a week ago. He is very knowledgeable and very courteous and brought me out and showed me what was wrong on my vehicle with the brakes. I ended up getting new pads and rotors for her car, and it was reasonably priced and they even noticed her tires were wearing on the inner edges, bad enough to have the steel cords coming out. Replaced 2 front tires, did alignment, and front brakes and it was very reasonable. Maybe the last couple reviews were under different management but today was great, and this new manager said he just took over the shop about a week ago. Ill be back next time I am forced to bring the mother in laws car to the shop.

GOT RIPPED OFF! Was charged for an oil change that never happened. Took my car in for an inspection and oil change.. inspection was fine, slapped the stickers on my car along with a sticker for the oil change. However, after the service was complete I checked my cars oil life sensor saying there was less than 50% oil life remaining, after every other oil change Ive gotten for this car, the sensor reset to 100%. I thought maybe just my sensor was off However shortly thereafter, Im talking I drove less than 1000 miles my cars oil change sensor goes off saying I have 0% oil life remaining. Took it to another mechanic for an oil change today that actually happened. Oil change sensor reset at 100% oil life. Thanks Midas for charging me for a service you never completed. Never going back..

I went there for an alignment check. Along with that they did a courtesy check and told me that I needed to get the front struts of my car replaced. The car was at around 70K miles and they said the OEM replacement interval for that part is 50K miles. They added that it is leaking badly and needed to replaced immediately and quoted around 750$ for parts and labor. I declined it and later confirmed that the car manufacturer do not recommend replacement of struts at 50K even in the premium maintenance plan. I have now crossed 85K miles with no issues to the suspension. Also got it checked twice at different places specifically asking them to check the condition of struts. Both reported no issues. Please do not follow their diagnosis and spent your hard earned money.
