In July I took my car here because the Intake manifold gasket needed replacement (because of leaking antifreeze) and I got an inspection along with other various work done. When I picked up my car my speedometer did not work and there was a clicking sound in the engine. They looked at my car but it took FIVE days to fix it and they never called me for updates. I had to call them and everyday they told me it would not be ready. One day they said that one of the mechanics was "Driving it around". Now just 4 months later my AntiFreeze is leaking AGAIN. They said it is the water pump that needs replacing. This could and should have been done when the Intake Manifold Gasket was replaced. Any normal mechanic would have seen that and suggest for me to replace it then while they were already doing the labor. But now they want to charge me over $400 (which is very high) and they tell me that it is not under the warranty they state on the bck of their invoice. Not only is this place Dishonest but they do not even do a good job. Please do Not make the same mistake I did. I never have reviewed a place before until now. There are plenty of respectable Auto Repair shops in the area that you should go too instead of here. I do NOT recommend this plce to anyone. Not even if your car breaks down in front of this shop. Pay to get it towed somewhere else.

This is one of the better spots in West Chester for quality auto repair and advice. Ive taken my Honda to some of the other guys in town including the Honda dealership down the street from this shop and nobody compares in terms of honesty, value and professionalism. Is was told what needed to be done in detail, and the guys were also honest about what didnt need to be done. The service writers have actual mechanical knowledge and know what they are talking about (unlike dealership service advisors). Bill is great and has gives a nuanced and complete explanation of what you need and what you dont allowing you to make an educated decision. To prices for common service items are a bit higher than your Pep Boys or Tires plus, but its worth it since you wont get ripped of on incorrect advice. Labor is 110/hr and oil changes are 40-90$.

I have been bringing my vehicles to United Tire of West Chester easily for more than 5 years. Bills and his team excel at providing top notch service and are extremey accomodating to my (somewhat demanding) needs. I grew up in a mechanic garage and would do most of my own work if I could these days but that is not my calling, nor do I have the tools or time to do most of the things I want. Barring my own trust in my own work, the next best thing on the planet as far as I have run into (after many mechanics I dont trust) is the crew at United tire. You cant go wrong with their service and you can be assured if there is a problem they will make it right. Bill is awesome and a stand up guys who stands behind his shop and their work.

WEST CHESTER TIRE IS THE BEST PLACE FOR ALL YOUR AUTOMOTIVE NEEDS. BILL AND HIS EMPLOYEES GO ABOVE AND BEYOND TO EXCEED YOUR EXPECTATIONS. JOYCE IS MAD BECAUSE HER CAR NEEDS WORK. NO MECHANIC WOULD RECOMMEND A WATER PUMP WHILE DOING AN INTAKE GASKET. THEY ARE AT OPPOSITE SIDES OF THE ENGINE. IF IT WAS LEAKING THEY WOULD HAVE RECOMMENDED THE SERVICE. IF YOU HAVE NOT TRIED WEST CHESTER TIRE THEN YOU HAVENT TRULY EXPERIENCED A GREAT AUTOMOTIVE EXPERIENCE. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK !

Woke up to a flat tire, called them and they said to drop it off whenever I could. They said it would be ready in a few hours for pickup, however, they would be too busy to put it on. When I came to pick it up, I asked if they had time to put the tire back on. 15 minutes later, the tire was on and I was ready to to go. Very reasonable price too. I am definitely taking my car there for my schedule 55k mile maintenance.

I first went to United Tire back in 2004, where I met the Manager - Bill. I have gone back for tire repairs and for 4 new tires mutliple times, always w/ the same positive experience.. The service is the same for whatever the job, - EXCELLENT! I would not go anywhere else for tires and alignment. Bill and his crew are consistently professional, honest and courteous. Bill gets it! It is all about the customer.

Tried this shop for a flat tire. Fantastic, quick service! At one point three men were attending to my car simultaneously! Turned out it was just a valve, and I was charged *nothing* despite the time and energy expended. The cheerful owner just wouldnt take a dime. Where else can you get service like this? I havent seen anything like it in 30 years. This is definitely the place to go.

I have been going to United Tire for 15 years and have always gotten excellent service. They are not the cheapest but I know they will only charge me for what needs to be repaired and I know the work will be quality work. They have cared for 5 of my cars, some are approaching 200K miles and still running great! I trust these guys. I highly recommend these guys.

Bill and his professional team have been taking care of the cars for just shy of 20 years. Excellent advice and fair charges. When these professionals "fix it" they fix it. No upselling, no pressure and customer service and concern for road safety which deserves 100 stars. As long as I have vehicles, they go to Bill for service and maintenance and repairs.

Im really glad I found United Tire through a Google search for a tire place in West Chester. They were great - very professional, courteous, and helpful! I had a tire that went flat several times over the past few weeks and they were able to help me out in less than an hour - definitely recommend them and will be going to them for all future tire business!

Excellent service and honest. My wife had a low tire and took it to Pep Boys to refill and inspect. Pep Boys told her it couldnt be fixed and b/c its all-wheel drive needed 4 new tires. Went to United Tire where they gave an honest inspection and easily patched the tire. United Tire has my respect and business now.
