My experience with Brandywine Coachworks left me with several strong impressions of how they operate. First, I’d like to say that the painters they have are talented but for the rest of the work leaves a lot to be desired. They don’t check their work. They don’t apologize for wasting your time to make you come back to do it over. If the manager says they personally checked that a job is done correctly is completely worthless. Also, don’t expect all the clips, screws, or other fasteners to be placed back on the car. That won’t happen. I came to their shop to repair/replace/paint to match a fender that was dented from a recent storm we had. The fender was dented and the paint was chipped away from the fender. A really basic cookie cutter job. The shop painted the fender and it was placed it on the car. They called me and the manager said it was done. I came and picked up the car and to my surprise the panel didnt line up with anything on the car. The shop wasnt apologetic at all for wasting my time to come and get the car claiming it was done and simply replied they’d do it over, and so it was. Again a repeat of the same performance. The manager said he personally checked it with the body guy. How can a shop not be able to hang a fender on a car that had no damage underneath the skin? How can the paint shop be able to paint to match but the body shop guy not be able to check the gaps on a panel and compare? Both times the manager said they checked the work and both times it came out wrong. I don’t take lying very well when I’m paying for a job to be done. Regardless of going through insurance I paid for it in my premiums. Also why should the customer be the one to find the error? This is inexcusable behavior.

I was in a recent fender-bender (not at-fault) and I had an appt at Brandywine Coachworks to assess the damage and have the work done there. I admittedly arrived a little late for the appt. due to an unanticipated road closure on my commute. However, the poor attitude that I received from the receptionist upon my arrival was uncalled for. I was supposed to meet with a Geico rep at the shop to assess the damage and upon arriving, I was told in a not-so-friendly manner to have a seat and that the Geico rep would be with me "if he has time" to fit me in. Again - I get it..I was a little late. But if you dont have time to see me, then please just tell me to reschedule. Dont tell me in a snooty manner to sit and leave me guessing as to whether or not someone is going to be able to inspect my car. She then had the nerve to ask me to sign a form giving them permission to work on my car - which seemed odd since she basically told me that Id be lucky if the Geico inspector even meets with me today. And why would I want to give them consent to work on my car when I didnt yet even know what type of work theyd be doing on it? Shouldnt the paperwork come *after* the inspection?!? If the receptionists customer service "skills" translate in any way to the quality of work done on cars, then Id avoid Brandywine Coachworks like the plague. Though this may be unlikely, I wasnt about to sit and wait to find out. Appointment cancelled - there are plenty of quality local body shops that wont turn away business.

Took my car in for suspension and body work resulting from an accident covered through my insurance. The body repair, paintless dent repair, and paint job were all done well with no noticeable difference between the new and old paint. The price of the paintless dent repair (paid for outside of the insurance claim) was very fair. A bit let down by the attention to detail. While the paint job was good, there is over spray on rubber door seals as well as the plastic trim around the side mirrors which wasnt noticeable until the detailing products wore away. Have noticed a missing fender bolt and several areas on the door which are missing plugs/clips which cover otherwise open holes in the side of the door. Suspension work was also just fair - replaced components pop/clunk over bumps and sharp angle turning. Overall I would recommend Brandywine for their body and paint work despite the over spray and few missing pieces. If I could do it over, I would take my car elsewhere for the mechanical work and just leave the body/paint work to Brandywine.

After my truck spent 3 weeks and a return 5 day stay at the dealership to have vandalism repaired, and it came back to me looking worse than it did when I dropped it off, I was absolutely convinced that my truck would never look the same again. I stood corrected the day I walked into the door of Brandywine Coachworks and was greeted by two outstanding professionals who assured me they could have my truck looking the way it did the day I bought it. After sorting out endless logistics with my insurance company, my dealership, and the staff at Brandywine Coachworks, my truck spent two weeks with them. I picked it up today with as big of a smile on my face as I did the day I bought it two years ago. I am absolutely mind blown by the outstanding work that was done to get my truck looking the way it should. Hats off to Brandywine Coachworks.

I got rear-ended and had to get the rear bumper replaced and the trunk fixed on my Honda Crosstour. They did a great job, perfect color matching and the rear looks like new. The service was also excellent. To my positive surprise they also cleaned the entire car - both inside and outside - so I got back a car looking much better than what I left. Thanks.

My car was hit by a deer recently and front and side of car were damaged badly. My BMW dealer recommended Brandywine and I absolutely loved their workman ship. The car came back like new. The staff was responding and courteous.

Good, straight forward customer service. Something happened in my repair that killed my MP3 player, and they scheduled me in right away to get it fixed at no extra cost and still made sure I had a rental car for the day.

Professional work - I had $30,000 in damage done to my brand new Jaguar and it came out just as new. Could never tell the car was wrecked.
