Once I had computers that never worked properly. I always resisted taking my bandaged systems to a professional because I believed that either it would cost too much and/or I would be bombarded with techy jargon that would only confuse the situation. West Chester Computer Doctors are now my go-to guys for all my tech needs. PROS: My experiences: Problem 1: My laptop was so sluggish that it made completing the simplest task difficult. Solution: The Doctors tuned up my machine & made recommendations to further improve performance. Problem 2: My PC laptop & MAC were struck by lightning. Solution: the Doctors declared my laptop "DOA," recovered my hard drive, and steered me in the right direction for replacement. For the MAC, they analyzed and guided me to buy an inexpensive solution from "Staple." All for a very minimal fee. Problem 3: A system crash rendered my hard drive useless. Solution: in less than 8 hours the Doctors installed a new hard drive, upgraded my OS to Windows 7, and set me up with a more efficient security system to protect my valuable information. So, in conclusion to my novel of a review, West Chester Computer Doctors are an indespensible solution to all your tech needs! The Doctors have kept and will continue to keep my business running smoothly. I have reccomended them to family & friends only to hear that they have great experiences as well. Thanks to everyone at West Chester Computer Doctors! CONS: In all of my visits I have been able to find on-street parking either out front or within 1 block. The parking garage is located on the same block so I guess that would always is an option if you want to pay a little more. FYI: there is a "loading zone" directly out front of the shop. If you are daring/quick enough to challenge the WC Parking enforcement, then give that a try. But, overall I havent ever had a problem finding a spot.

I am an employee at a new company in New York City. Without an in house IT person, I was put in charge of researching and purchasing computers for our entire company. I know technology a bit but I was out of my comfort zone. Thank goodness for West Chester Computer Doctors. I got their name from a friend and worked directly with Kevin as I shopped around and built my computers. He was always there to give me advice and guide my process. There wasnt a question I asked that he couldnt answer with 100% confidence. What processor to get (hint - not always the more expensive one), which version of Windows, Office, how to secure my computer from viruses (for free) etc. He also went to work and found a coupon that saved me over $4,000 on my final purchase. That blew my mind. I dont know what I would have done with out them. Actually I do - I would have paid way too much for a computer that was not exactly what I needed. Thanks to Kevin and West Chester Computer Doctors, I got exactly what I needed.

I have used West Chester Computer Doctors often and wouldnt go anywhere else. I own Doylestown Family Eye Associates and we use an integrated network system with several work stations and operate a specific, higher level technology platform that is well beyond me. WC Computer Docs set me up, made it easy for me to understand, have upgraded me along the way, help me backup my medical files nightly (both on and off site) and have consistently and immediately responded to my needs over the years. I just had an issue with an unrelated software vendor and these guys fixed what would have been a catastrophe in a matter of a half hour. I dont normally write reviews, but theses guys deserve a shout out. Definitely give these guys a chance - appreciate it.

Its not just because they solve every computers problem, every time, they are such good people who provide the kind of service that can rarely be taught. They are fast, clear, and I dont know how they never seem to be guessing but its as though they have seen it all, have knowledge of the ins and outs and odd characteristics, and immediately generate solutions. They can solve the problem, but in addition, they can intuit what will position the computers functions to operate more effectively in my life and with my own needs. Amazing - its better when theyre done than when it was working its best. Cost is not an issue here. These guys are reasonable - very. And fast - very. Accommodating - very. This is the place! No question about it!!!

I needed to purchase some iPads for work and I had no idea where to even begin. I called West Chester Computer Doctors to see if they knew anything about iPads because my IT guy at work wasnt savvy with Apple. Rachel answered and spent time talking me through each price level and which capabilities I would need. I was surprised that she took the time to help me since I wasnt purchasing anything from her company. Usually people wont give you the time of day unless you are buying something from them. This is just an overall, FRIENDLY and HELPFUL company with nothing but the customers best interest in mind. Creative, Quick, Reasonably Priced! I had an old genealogy database and software that would only run on Windows 98. These guys set up an environment to run the software and figured out how to convert the database into a standard GEDCOM file that I could import into my new software. Without their help I would have lost information about 2000 people in my family tree. Its obvious these guys enjoy their work and love to solve problems for people. I had my solution the very next day for a very reasonable charge and theres no doubt in my mind Ill go back to them with any future computer problems I have.

Finally, a painless way to address all of your computer housecleaning! Computer Doctors cleaned up several computers of mine so I could pass them along with confidence that my data would not go with them! I gave them my laptop to tuneup for backup use, and Its now running like new! They found infections I didnt even know I had, and I am very conscientious about running my virus and malware. I now have "Sandbox" on all my PCs and feel so much more secure! The best thing is that I know that they are always just a phone call away. I highly recommend them for all your computer maintenance needs!

These guys are the best! My laptop wouldnt boot up because it couldnt detect the hard drive. I thought for sure I had lost any data since my last backup (two weeks prior) but they were able to retrieve all the data from the drive. They called me with options for drive replacement and explained the pros and cons of each choice. My laptop is up and running again and Im thrilled with my experience with West Chester Computer Doctors! DO NOT take your computer anywhere else. If you want professional, friendly, honest, reasonably priced top-notch repair service, this is the place.
