My car was hit while I was parked on my street, and the responsible insurance company (State Farm) covered the damage. Penn Auto was one of their recommended shops, so I went with them. I was absolutely blown away by their service. When I first got in touch with them, they were able to get me in the next morning before work (at 7 a.m.) which is a huge plus for me, to get my estimate. I was in and out in about ten minutes, and we scheduled to get my car in about two weeks later, which was fine with me - the car was drivable. The next week, though, I discovered a screw in one of my tires (unrelated to the accident) - they, again, were able to get me in the next morning before work. He repaired my tire within 20 minutes, and didnt charge me anything for the repair. I took my car in for the repairs the next Monday - they gave me a loaner car for the week, because the insurance didnt cover a rental. The car was done by Thursday, and it was great. It looked as if nothing had ever happened to the car. They also fixed a couple of scratches for no extra charge. Everyone was really friendly, as well. I would absolutely recommend their service to anyone and everyone.

I went to Penn Automotive for an estimate on a simple fender bender fix. When I called the person who answered made me feel like i was bothering him but I still went to give them a chance ( for convenience to where I live). The person who looked my vehicle over came back and did not give me an estimate stating "I already know what needs replaced anyway" I will not ramble on but it ended in me leaving because they did not even try to help me and today I went to another shop that actually took a couple minutes with me to go over what needs done. Clearly Penn Auto will never have my business after wasting my time and not putting in any effort to help me.

It is a very great body shop. The people there are generally nice. And they also work very fast. They scheduled my repair in 5 days and finished fixing my car (general collision) in 3 days. And the price they charged are 20% less than the other body shop. Though the other drivers insurance company paid for my damage this time, I will definitely choose this shop if I need to pay it myself (hope it wont happen soon). And they also cleaned your vehicle and vacuum it, which is a great plus.

I took my Jeep to Ron Lewis in Pleasant Hills and they quoted me $1,700 for a new catalytic converter. Called Penn Automotive and they are charging me $700! The mechanic was very honest and talked me through the cost of different quality converters and even let me choose which one I wanted. Im never taking my car to a dealership again. Penn Automotive is my new mechanic!

Alex took my call, quickly diagnosed my problem and notified me and gave me the news $$ I told him to get it done and later that day was on the road. Highly recommend!

The paint job looked great being a three step paint process they matched the metal flake perfectly...and no orange peel . Highly recommend them....

I took my car here for inspection and unlike any other place, I did not get a list of "recommended" repairs that probably are not needed. In addition they fixed my tire pressure sensor for me without charging an arm and a leg. It is great to have an auto repair center that I trust.
